REFRIGERANT SYSTEM DIAGRAM

The Refrigerant System Diagram illustrates the flow of refrigerant between the Outdoor Unit (containing the Condenser, Compressor, 4-way Valve, Accumulator, Strainers, and Expansion Valve) and the Indoor Unit (containing the Evaporator). It indicates refrigerant direction for Cooling and Heating modes, and shows the refrigerant pipes with their diameters (15.88mm or 5/8" and 9.52mm or 3/8"). Charging valves and a pressure check valve are also depicted.

CIRCUIT DIAGRAM

Detailed circuit diagrams are provided for both the Indoor Unit and the Outdoor Unit. These diagrams show the connections between various components such as PCBs (Main PCB, Power Supply PCB, Indicator PCB, Transistor PCB, Capacitor PCB, Filter PCB), sensors (thermistors), motors (fan motor, drain pump motor), valves (4-way valve, expansion valve), switches (float switch, high pressure switch), and power sources. Specific wire colors and connector labels are indicated.

ERROR DETECTION

This section details error detection methods for the Indoor Unit and Wired Remote Control. It provides tables listing error codes, indicated by blinking lamps on the indoor unit (Operation Lamp, Timer Lamp, Economy Lamp) or displays on the wired remote control. Each error code is associated with a specific description, such as 'Serial communication error', 'Indoor unit capacity error', 'Compressor temp. sensor error', 'Outdoor unit fan motor error', and '4-way valve error'.

SPECIAL INSTALLATION SETTING - PUMP DOWN

Instructions are provided for the 'PUMP DOWN' operation, which is a refrigerant collecting process necessary when moving the indoor or outdoor unit. The procedure involves pressing a push-button switch on the circuit board, which initiates the operation. The system indicates the start of PUMP DOWN via an LED. The operation typically lasts for about 1 minute, after which the compressor stops automatically. The 2-way and 3-way valves should be closed immediately, followed by turning off the power. A DANGER warning highlights that the choke coil generates high voltages and should not be touched.
