READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: When properly cared for, your new appliance has been designed to be safe and reliable. Read all instructions carefully before use. These precautions will reduce the risk of burns, electric shock, fire and injury to persons. When using kitchen appliances, basic safety precautions must be followed.
Proper Installation and Maintenance
Save these instructions for the local electrical inspector's use. Ensure your appliance is properly installed and grounded by a qualified technician. Connect only to a properly grounded outlet. This appliance is intended for normal family household use only and is not approved for outdoor use.
Do not store or use corrosive chemicals, vapors, flammables, or non-food products in or near this appliance. It is designed for heating or cooking food only. The use of corrosive chemicals can damage the appliance and result in injury.
Do not operate this appliance if it is not working properly or has been damaged. Contact an authorized servicer. Do not obstruct oven vents. Do not repair or replace any part of the appliance unless specifically recommended in this manual. Refer all servicing to a factory-authorized service center.
In the event of an error, the display flashes and beeps continuously. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply and call a qualified technician.
Fire Safety
Do not use aluminum foil or protective liners to line any part of the appliance, especially the oven bottom, as this may result in electric shock or fire. If materials inside the oven ignite, keep the door closed, turn off the appliance, and disconnect the circuit at the breaker box.
Use this appliance only for its intended purpose. Never use the appliance for warming or heating the room, or for storage.
Always have a working smoke detector near the kitchen. In case of clothing or hair catching fire, drop and roll immediately. Smother food fires (except grease fires) with baking soda. Never use water on cooking fires. Have an appropriate fire extinguisher available and easily accessible.
WARNING: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY IN THE EVENT OF A GREASE FIRE:
- Smother flames with a close-fitting lid, cookie sheet, or metal tray, then turn off the burner. Exercise caution to prevent burns. If flames do not go out immediately, evacuate and call the fire department.
- Never pick up a flaming pan.
- Do not use water on grease fires; smother fire or flame or use a dry chemical or foam-type extinguisher.
- Use an extinguisher ONLY if: you have a CLASS ABC extinguisher and know how to operate it; the fire is small and contained; the fire department is being called; and you can fight the fire with your back to an exit.
Burn Prevention
DO NOT TOUCH HEATING ELEMENTS OR INTERIOR SURFACES OF OVEN. Heating elements may be hot even if dark in color. Interior surfaces become hot enough to cause burns. During and after use, do not touch, or let clothing, potholders, or other flammable materials contact heating elements or interior surfaces until they have cooled sufficiently. Surfaces near oven vent openings and oven doors can also become hot.
Exercise caution when opening the appliance. Stand to the side, open the door slowly and slightly to let hot air and/or steam escape. Keep your face clear of the opening and ensure no children or pets are near. Keep doors shut unless necessary for cooking or cleaning. Do not leave open doors unattended.
Do not heat or warm unopened food containers, as pressure build-up may cause them to burst and cause injury.
Always place oven racks in the desired location while the oven is cool. If a rack must be moved while the oven is hot, do not let the potholder contact the heating elements. Always use dry potholders. Do not use a towel or other bulky cloth.
Secure all loose garments before beginning. Tie long hair and do not wear loose-fitting clothing or hanging garments.
Child Safety
When children are old enough to use the appliance, parents or legal guardians must ensure they are instructed in safe operation by qualified persons.
Do not allow anyone to climb, stand, lean, sit, or hang on any part of the appliance, especially a door or drawer. This can damage the appliance and cause severe injury if it tips over.
Do not allow children to use this appliance unless closely supervised by an adult. Children and pets should not be left alone or unattended in the area where the appliance is in use. They should never play in its vicinity.
Items of interest to children should not be stored in or above the appliance. Children climbing on the appliance could be seriously injured.
Cleaning Safety
CAUTION: Do not clean the appliance while it is still hot. Some cleaners produce noxious fumes when applied to a hot surface. Wet cloths or sponges can cause burns from steam.
Do Not Use Oven Cleaners - No commercial oven cleaner or oven liner protective coating of any kind should be used in or around any part of the oven.
Cookware Safety
Birds have sensitive respiratory systems. Keep pet birds out of the kitchen or other rooms where kitchen fumes could reach them. During self-clean, fumes are released that may be harmful to birds. Other kitchen fumes, such as from overheating margarines and cooking oils, may also be harmful.
Keep the oven free from grease build-up. Do not place food directly on the oven bottom. Follow manufacturer's directions when using cooking or roasting bags.

How to Use Your Oven
This multi-function oven combines traditional convection with fan-assisted cooking. Features are selected using knobs B and C.
Notice: For the first use, set the thermostat to the highest setting and run the oven for about half an hour with nothing inside and the door shut. This will evaporate protective substances used during storage. The odor is normal.
Notice: Place the dripping pan on the bottom shelf only when grilling or using the rotisserie to catch drippings. Never use the bottom shelf or place anything on the oven bottom during operation, as this could damage the enamel. Place cookware on the provided grid inserted along the oven guides.
Notice: To use the oven in manual mode (without the programmer), align the symbol with the reference mark on the control panel.
Cooking Modes
Grill (2131W)
Thermostat knob C: Max. The top central heating element comes on. Ideal for browning the surface of meats and roasts to lock in juices. Suitable for beef steaks, veal, rib steak, filets, hamburgers, etc.
Cook food with the oven door ajar.
Fan Assisted Grill (2161W)
Thermostat knob C: Between 140°F and 392°F. The top central heating elements and the fan operate. This enhances thermal radiation through forced air circulation, preventing surface burning and allowing heat to penetrate food. Excellent for kebabs, sausages, ribs, lamb chops, chicken, quail, pork chops, etc.
Cook food in "fan assisted grill mode" with the oven door shut. This mode is also ideal for cooking fish steaks and stuffed cuttlefish.
Baking Mode (2015W)
Thermostat knob C: Between 140°F and 482°F. The rear heating element and the fan operate, distributing heat uniformly. Ideal for baking cakes that need to rise, tartlets, cream puffs, biscuits, savory puffs, Swiss rolls, and small portions of vegetables au gratin, even on 3 shelves simultaneously.

How to Keep Your Oven in Shape
Before cleaning or performing maintenance, disconnect the oven from the power supply.
- Enameled or Stainless Steel Parts: Wash with lukewarm water without abrasive powders or corrosive substances. Stainless steel may stain; use special cleaners if needed. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Interior of the Oven: Clean preferably after use when warm, with hot water and soap. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Avoid abrasive detergents, abrasive sponges, or acids, as they can damage the enamel. For tough grease spots, use a special oven cleaner following package instructions. Never use a steam cleaner inside the oven.
- Condensation: If condensation forms after extended use, dry with a soft cloth.
- Rubber Seal: Check the condition of the seal around the oven opening regularly. Clean it without abrasive products. Contact After-Sales Service if damaged; avoid using the oven until repaired.
- Oven Bottom: Never line the oven bottom with aluminum foil, as accumulated heat can compromise cooking and damage the enamel.
- Glass Door: Clean with non-abrasive products or sponges and dry with a soft cloth.
How to Remove The Oven Door
For easier installation, oven doors can be removed to reduce weight. Ensure the oven is cool and power is off before removing the door. The oven door is heavy and fragile; use both hands and handle carefully to avoid breaking. Grasp only the sides of the door, not the handle. Ensure hinge levers are securely in place before removing the door to avoid injury from snapping hinges.
To Remove the Oven Door
- Open the door fully.
- Lift and turn the small levers situated on the two hinges.
- Grip the door on the two external sides and shut it slowly, but not completely.
- Pull the door towards you, pulling it out of its seat.
- Reassemble by following these steps in reverse.
Replacing the Oven Lamp
- Disconnect the oven from the power supply.
- Remove the glass cover of the lamp-holder.
- Remove the old lamp and replace it with a high-temperature resistant lamp (up to 572°F) with the following characteristics: Voltage: 208-240V, Wattage: 25W, Type: E14.
- Replace the glass cover and reconnect the oven to the mains power supply.
Practical Cooking Advice
This oven offers versatile cooking options. The following are guidelines:
Preheating
If preheating is required (e.g., for leavened foods), use "Multi-Cooking" or "Fast Cooking" modes to reach the desired temperature quickly. Once food is placed in the oven, select the most appropriate cooking mode.
Cooking on More Than One Rack
For multi-rack cooking, use "Baking" mode $oxed{ ext{baking-symbol}}$ or "Multi-Cooking" mode $oxed{ ext{multi-cooking-symbol}}$.
- Baking Mode: Ideal for delicate foods on up to 3 racks (1st, 3rd, and 5th from the bottom).
- Multi-Cooking Mode: For other foods on multiple racks, use the 2nd and 4th racks from the bottom. Place foods requiring higher heat on the 2nd rack. For differing times/temperatures, set an intermediate temperature, place delicate food on the 4th rack, and remove food requiring less time first. Use the dripping pan on the lower rack and the grid on the upper.
Using the "Fast Cooking" Mode
Functional and practical for pre-packed products (e.g., frozen or pre-cooked food) along with other items.
Using the Grill
Two grilling modes are available:
- Grill Mode: Use with the oven door ajar. Place food under the center of the grill (3rd or 4th rack from the bottom). Use the bottom rack (1st from the bottom) with the dripping pan to collect drippings. Set thermostat to the highest setting, or adjust as needed.
- Fan Assisted Grill Mode: Use with the oven door shut. Ideal for grilling foods rapidly, browning surfaces, and cooking the bottom part. Also used for browning at the end of cooking (e.g., gratin finish). Place the grid on the 2nd or 3rd rack from the bottom, with a dripping pan on the 1st rack to prevent smoke. Always use with the door shut for efficiency and energy saving (approx. 10%). Recommended thermostat setting is 392°F for optimal infrared ray use, but can be adjusted.
Important: When using grill modes, place the dripping pan on the 1st oven rack from the bottom to prevent fat and grease from dripping and causing smoke.
Baking Cakes
Always bake cakes in a preheated oven. Wait until the end light "E" turns off. Do not open the oven door during baking to prevent cakes from dropping.
- Pastry too dry: Increase temperature by 18°F and reduce cooking time.
- Pastry dropped: Use less liquid or lower the temperature by 18°F.
- Pastry too dark on top: Place on a lower rack, lower the temperature, and increase cooking time.
- Cooked well inside but sticky outside: Use less liquid, lower the temperature, and increase cooking time.
- Pastry sticks to the pan: Grease the pan well and dust with flour, or use greaseproof paper.
- Uneven cooking on multiple racks (ventilated oven): Use a lower temperature setting. It is not necessary to remove food from all racks simultaneously.
Cooking Fish and Meat
- White meat, fowl, fish: Use temperature settings from 356°F to 392°F.
- Red meat (well done outside, juicy inside): Start with a high temperature (392°F-428°F) for a short time, then lower the temperature.
- Roasts: Larger roasts require lower temperature settings. Place meat on the center of the grid with a dripping pan beneath. Ensure the grid is centered. For more bottom heat, use lower rack positions. Dress meat with lard or bacon for savory roasts.

Transport Method
To avoid damage to the oven vent, use the transport method shown in the diagram. Ensure the oven is properly supported during transport.
Installation of Built-in Ovens
The cabinet containing the oven must be appropriate for proper functioning. The diagram provides cut-out dimensions for installation under a counter or in a wall cabinet unit.
Ventilation: The back panel of the cabinet unit must be removed for adequate ventilation. Installing the oven to rest on two strips of wood is preferable. If the oven rests on a continuous flat surface, an aperture of at least 45 x 560 mm is required.
Materials: Adjacent cabinet panels must be made of heat-resistant material. Veneered cabinets must use glues that withstand temperatures up to 212°F.
Safety: Once installed, contact with electrical parts must not be possible. Parts ensuring safe operation must be removable only with a tool.
Fastening: To fasten the oven to the cabinet, open the door and insert the 4 wooden screws into the 4 holes on the frame perimeter.
Electrical Installation
All model ovens are dual rated for connection to either a 208/240V AC, 60 Hz, 3-wire, two-phase power supply.
Circuit Required | 208V, 60 Hz | 240V, 60 Hz |
---|---|---|
12 AMP | 15 AMP |
The electrical supply should be 3-wire two-phase AC. Install a suitable conduit box. Use an appropriately-sized, U.L.-listed conduit connector. Local codes may vary; installation, electrical connections, and grounding must comply with all applicable local codes. If local codes permit grounding through the electrical supply neutral, connect both the white neutral wire and the bare ground wire from the oven to the white neutral electrical supply wire.
Three-wire Connection
Connect the red wire from the oven to the red wire in the junction box. Connect the black wire from the oven to the black wire in the junction box. Connect the green ground wire from the oven to the gray neutral wire in the junction box.
The conduit cable, where connected at the oven, swivels. Rotate the conduit cable upward (or downward) and direct it through the prepared hole in the cabinet to attach to the J-Box. The flex conduit must not be shortened and should be routed to permit temporary removal of the oven for serviceability.
