Description

The FDL-65 series is a 65W LED AC/DC LED power supply featuring constant current mode output, targeting LED flood lighting applications. It operates from 180~295VAC and offers models for voltages up to 42V (1550mA model) and 36V (1800mA model). With high efficiency up to 90% and a fanless design, it operates from -40°C to +90°C case temperature under free air convection. The metal housing and IP65 ingress protection level make it suitable for indoor and outdoor applications. The FDL-65 is equipped with an output current adjustable function for design flexibility.

Block Diagram

The block diagram illustrates the internal components and signal flow of the FDL-65 series LED driver. It includes an EMI filter and rectifiers for input processing, followed by power switching and a PWM & PFC control unit. The output stage consists of rectifiers and a filter, with a detection circuit feeding back to the control unit. Protection circuits such as Over Voltage Protection (OVP), Over Temperature Protection (OTP), and Over Load Protection (OLP) are integrated. The unit also features Case Ground for EMC compliance.

Driving Methods of LED Module

This series operates in constant current mode to directly drive LEDs. The graph shows the 'Constant Current area' and 'Hiccup Protection' region. In the constant current region, the output voltage is dependent on the configuration of the end system.

Output Load vs Temperature

Mechanical Specification

The mechanical specifications include the overall dimensions: 151mm (Length) x 53mm (Width) x 31.5mm (Height). Input connections are AC/N (Blue) and AC/L (Brown) using H05RN 1.0mm²*2C cables. Output connections are -V (Blue) and +V (Brown) also using H05RN 1.0mm²*2C cables. Mounting holes are indicated. The note specifies connecting the case to FG (Frame Ground) for complete EMC deliverance. The product is IP65 rated.
