About "Blood Pressure"
What is blood pressure?
Blood pressure is the force of circulating blood against artery walls. It's measured as systolic pressure (when the heart pumps) and diastolic pressure (when the heart rests between beats).
Your blood pressure changes all the time.
Blood pressure varies based on age, gender, biorhythms, posture, activity, stress, and temperature. Healthy individuals experience daily fluctuations.
Example of blood pressure variations within a day:
Measurements taken at five-minute intervals throughout a day show significant variations, influenced by daily activities and rest periods.
Benefit of Measuring Blood Pressure at Home
Home measurements provide reliable data in a stable, relaxed condition. Physicians value this data. Measure at the same time daily and record variations. Always consult your physician for interpretation and treatment.
