E62-A3 - Access Unit Chassis
The E62-A3 is a standard 19-inch 2U rack-mounted shelf, including a 1U fan unit. It serves as the host for the Everon 6200 system, providing coupling access to radio signal sources for multioperator, multisystem, and multiband applications. It converts these signals into digital optical signals and distributes them to fiber-connected devices. One A3 chassis can support up to eight optical interfaces connected to E3s (Expansion Units) or N3RUs (Remote Units).
Important Note: This is NOT a consumer device. It is designed for installation by FCC LICENSEES and QUALIFIED INSTALLERS. An FCC LICENSE or express consent from an FCC Licensee is required to operate this device. Only authorized personnel, aware of potential RF exposure and capable of controlling exposure, should access areas where antennas are installed. Awareness can be provided through specific training as part of an RF safety program.
The E62-AU-AC – Active Combiner Module interfaces with operator base station signal source equipment, featuring four QMA ports for signal input from up to four operators. An Access Unit can accommodate up to four such modules. It is advised against using digital repeaters as signal sources for Corning solutions.

System Topology
The system topology illustrates the connectivity between the Primary A3, Expansion Units (E3-O), and Remote Units (N3RU). The diagram shows how multiple bands and MIMO configurations can be supported across the system, with cascading capabilities for E3 and N3 units.
A typical system includes a Primary A3 unit receiving signals from network management systems and distributing them via fiber to E3-O units. These E3-O units then connect to N3RU units, which handle the RF conversion and transmission. Secondary A3 units can also be incorporated to expand band support.
Regulation
The system complies with FCC, UL62368-1, and UL 2043 standards.
