Safety Instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully before use. Save them for future reference.
Important Safety Precautions:
- Appliance Usage: Can be used by children aged 8+ and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience/knowledge, if supervised or instructed on safe use and hazards. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning/maintenance by children only if supervised and over 8 years old.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children under 8 years.
- Switch off and unplug the appliance before assembly and dismantling.
- Supervise the appliance carefully when used near children.
- Lift the motor unit with both hands when moving the appliance. Do not lift by the feeder tray.
- Never press food down with your hands; always use the feeder/pusher.
- Do not mince hard foods such as bones, nuts, etc.
- Do not mince ginger or other materials with hard fibres.
- Do not run the appliance for more than 20 minutes at a time. Allow it to cool before reusing.
- Do not press too hard during use, as this can cause food to jam.
- If food gets stuck: switch off immediately, unplug the power cord, and clear the appliance.
- Switch off the appliance and wait approximately 5 seconds until all moving parts have completely stopped before changing the direction of rotation.
- Never attempt to replace parts or repair the unit yourself.
- The appliance is intended for household use only.
- The appliance is not intended for use by children.
- A damaged power cord must be replaced by an authorized service center or qualified person to prevent hazards.
- Note: The machine and its parts are not dishwasher safe.

Operation
Before Use:
- Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate.
- Wash all parts that come into contact with food in hot water and detergent. Do not immerse the motor unit in water; wipe it with a damp cloth.
- Ensure the power switch is in the OFF position before plugging in the power cord.
Assembly:
- Press the feeder housing into the opening in the motor unit casing. Insert the locking screw into the hole on the side of the motor unit and turn clockwise to fix the feeder housing in place.
- Insert the feeder screw into the feeder housing with the long end first. Turn the screw to engage.
- Place the blade on the feeder screw shaft with the cutting edge outwards. Incorrect fitting will result in improper mincing.
- Place the desired mincing plate next to the blade, aligning the raised parts with the slots.
- Screw on and tighten the lock ring. Do not overtighten.
- Place the feeder tray on top of the feeder housing.
- Place the appliance on a level, stable surface. Ensure ventilation holes underneath the motor unit are not blocked.
Meat Grinding:
- Cut food into pieces that fit easily into the feeder opening.
- Plug in the power cord and switch on the appliance.
- Place food on the feeder tray.
- Use the feeder/pusher.
- Always switch off the appliance and unplug the power cord after use.
- Switch off the appliance, unplug the power cord, and wait until all moving parts have completely stopped.
- Dismantle the mincing plate and blade by following the instructions in reverse order.
If Food Gets Stuck:
- Immediately switch off and unplug the appliance if the overheating protection switches off the motor, or if the motor is running but bones or other obstructions prevent meat from exiting through the mincing plate.
- Turn the switch to the REVERSE position to drive the feeder screw backward to release the obstruction. The feeder screw rotates backward as long as the switch is held in REVERSE.
- Switch off the appliance, unplug the power cord, and wait until all moving parts have completely stopped.
- Dismantle and clean the appliance according to the instructions.
Maintenance
Disassembly:
- Switch off the appliance, unplug the power cord, and wait until all moving parts have completely stopped.
- Dismantle by following the assembly instructions in reverse order. The lock ring has raised edges for easier turning.
- Push the mincing plate off the feeder housing with a screwdriver as shown in the diagram.
Cleaning:
- Remove food scraps.
- Wash all parts that come into contact with food in hot water and detergent. Chlorine bleach can discolor aluminum surfaces.
- Do not immerse the motor unit in water; wipe it with a damp cloth.
- Do not use strong detergents or solvents, as they can damage plastic parts.
- Lubricate parts (h-j) with cooking oil if necessary.
