Safety Instructions

  • Read all instructions carefully before use.
  • Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate.
  • Do not use the product if it is damaged or not working properly, or if the power cord or plug are damaged. Take the product to an authorised service centre for checking, repair, or adjustment.
  • Switch off the product, pull out the plug, and wait until all moving parts have completely stopped before leaving the product unattended, and before installation/dismantling and/or cleaning.
  • Do not allow the power cord to hang over the edge of a table or worktop, or to come into contact with hot surfaces.
  • Never immerse the power cord, plug, or product in water or any other liquid – risk of electric shock.
  • Keep the product under careful supervision when it is used by, or near children or persons with functional disorders.
  • Avoid contact with moving parts.
  • Keep your hands and utensils outside of the beaker when the product is in use, otherwise there is a risk of serious personal injury and/or material damage. A rubber scraper or equivalent can be used, but only when the product is not running.
  • Never attempt to chop ice or mix hard, dry substances, as this will make the blades blunt.
  • Never put the blades on the base without first fitting the bowl – risk of personal injury.
  • Check that the lid is properly fitted before starting the product.
  • Do not use any accessories other than those recommended by the appliance manufacturer. Use of other accessories can result in fire, electric shock, and/or personal injury.
  • Never use the product for anything other than its intended purpose.
  • This product can be used by children from 8 years and upwards and by persons with physical, sensorial, or mental disabilities, or persons who lack experience or knowledge, if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning safe use and understand the risks. Do not allow children to play with the product. Do not allow children to clean or maintain the product without supervision.
  • Keep children under supervision to ensure they do not play with the product.
  • Remove the blades before pouring contents out of the beaker.
  • The blades are very sharp – risk of cut injury.
  • Do not touch the edges of the blades when handling or cleaning.
  • Incorrect use can result in personal injury and/or material damage.
  • Handle blades carefully when emptying the bowl and when cleaning.
  • If hot liquid is poured into the beaker, there is a risk of splashing or steaming, which can result in scalding.
  • The product is intended for household use, or for use in staff rooms, hotel rooms, or similar places.
  • Do not allow children to use the product. Store the product and its power cord out of the reach of children.
  • Do not allow children under 8 to clean or maintain the product. Children over 8 can clean or maintain the product under supervision. Store the product and its power cord out of the reach of children less than 8 years old.

Use

Before First Use

Clean the hand blender according to the quick cleaning instructions.

General Use

  • Do not run the blender with no load for more than 15 seconds.
  • ❗ IMPORTANT: Be careful, the blades are very sharp. Switch off the blender and pull out the plug before fitting/removing accessories.

Using the Hand Blender

  • Do not run the blender for more than one minute. Allow it to cool for three minutes before using it again.
  • Attach the blending arm to the motor unit by turning it anticlockwise. Release by turning it clockwise.
  • Plug in the power cord.
  • Place the blender in the food and press the low speed or high speed button to start.
  • Switch off the blender by releasing the button.
  • Cut food into small pieces and place them in the beaker. A maximum of 280 g can be processed at once, and a maximum of 420 ml of water can be added.
  • ? NOTE: Turn the speed dial clockwise for faster speed or anticlockwise for slower speed. Speed can only be controlled with the dial when the low speed button is pressed.

Using the Chopper Accessory

  • Place the large beaker on a clean, level surface.
  • Place the blade unit in the large beaker.
  • Add food to the large beaker.
  • Secure the lid firmly onto the large beaker.
  • Insert the motor unit through the hole in the lid.
  • Place the blender in the food and press the low speed or high speed button to start.
  • Switch off the blender by releasing the button.
  • When processing is finished, unplug the power cord and release the motor unit from the lid by turning anticlockwise.
  • Open the lid by turning it anticlockwise and remove the processed food.
  • ? NOTE: Do not run the blender for more than 30 seconds. Allow it to cool for three minutes before using it again.
  • Cut meat into small pieces and remove any bones. Only 200 g can be processed at once.
  • The beaker is intended only for food preparation and must be cleaned immediately after each use. Do not store food in the beaker.
  • ❗ IMPORTANT: Never place the blades on the base without first fitting the beaker – risk of personal injury. Ensure the lid is securely fitted before starting the blender. After processing, detach the motor unit from the lid before removing the lid from the beaker. Never remove the lid without first detaching the motor unit.

Using the Whisk

  • Attach the whisk to the motor unit by turning it anticlockwise. Release by turning it clockwise.
  • Plug in the power cord.
  • Place the whisk in the beaker. Do not whisk more than the whites of two eggs.
  • Place the blender in the food and press the low speed or high speed button to start.
  • Switch off the blender by releasing the button.
  • ? NOTE: Do not run the blender for more than one minute. Allow it to cool for three minutes before using it again.
  • The beaker is intended only for food preparation and must be cleaned immediately after each use. Do not store food in the beaker.

Maintenance

Cleaning

  • Unplug the power cord and remove the hand blender.
  • Clean the blending arm under running water. Let the blending arm dry upright so that all water runs out. The blending arm is dishwasher safe.
  • Wash the jug, bowl, whisk, and blade unit with warm water and dish soap. The bowl and whisk should not be washed in a dishwasher, as this can damage the plastic.
  • Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth.
  • Wipe dry thoroughly.
  • ❗ WARNING: Do not immerse the blender in water, as this can ruin the lubrication. Never immerse the blender, power cord, or plug in water or any other liquid – risk of electric shock. Do not use detergents or abrasive agents. Be careful, the blades are very sharp.

Quick Cleaning

Accessories can be quickly cleaned by running them for a few seconds in a bowl with a little water.
