Operation
Preparations

- Place the fruit crusher over a suitable container and check for stability.
- Verify the rotation direction of the grinding mechanism before adding fruit.
- Wash the fruit thoroughly.
- Place the fruit into the funnel.
Tips for Use
- Many fruits require grinding or crushing to yield maximum juice. The crusher is suitable for berries, grapes, apples, pears, potatoes, and other soft fruits/vegetables. It is not suitable for hard fruits/vegetables (e.g., sugar beets, carrots), unripe fruit, or fruit with large/hard stones.
- Apples, pears, quinces, and similar fruits are ideal for further processing due to their firm flesh, which allows for good grinding and high juice extraction.
- Grapes, raspberries, raisins, and stone fruits generally do not require grinding. Grinding is unnecessary for soft fruits with thin peels. Crushed stone fruit kernels can result in a bitter taste and dark brown juice.
- For best results, use only fresh, ripe, undamaged fruit. Remove overripe, unripe, rotten, or damaged fruit. Damaged windfalls can be used if they have not begun to rot. Wash fruit thoroughly before processing to prevent contaminants from entering the pulp.
Maintenance
Cleaning
Clean the fruit crusher with running water and a suitable brush after use and before long breaks. The crusher can be rinsed with a hose. Clean thoroughly between the rollers.
Storage
Lubricate all bearings regularly, especially if the fruit crusher will not be used for an extended period. Apply a thin layer of cooking oil to metal surfaces to protect against corrosion.
