* The sensor LED will briefly flash RED during monitoring communication, indicating that external monitoring is functional. Monitoring must be active on the sensor, door control, and monitoring wires must be properly connected.
Radar Opening Impulse Field
The detection field size varies with mounting height. Graphics represent field shapes and sizes:
- Angle: Adjustable from 15° to 45° (default 30°), or -15° to 15° (default 0°). Field size: 9, Immunity: 2.
- Width: Adjustable for 'Wide' or 'Narrow' field shapes. Field size: 9, Immunity: 2.
Note: 1x1 grid is approximately 3.28 ft x 3.28 ft.
Infrared Safety Field
Activate visible spots to verify the AIR curtain position. Visibility may vary based on conditions. Use Spotfinder if spots are not visible.
- Distance: The distance between inner curtains of inside and outside door sensors should be less than 8 inches.
- Width Adjustment: The arrow position on the sensor determines the detection field width. Adjust the AIR curtain angle (from -7° to 4°, default 0°) if necessary.
- Verification: Always verify the actual detection field width by walk-testing according to ANSI 156.10.
Setup
Sensor setup can be performed using push-buttons or the remote control.
- SETUP 1 (QUICK): Hold the knob for 2 seconds or use remote control buttons.
