Construction Features
Pump Construction:
Models NKVE 10 S, 15 S, and 20 S feature parts in contact with liquid made of stainless steel (AISI 304), technopolymer diffusers, and removable silicon carbide-graphite mechanical seals. Models NKV 32 and 45 use AISI 304 stainless steel for impellers, diffusers, and jacket, with cataphorized cast iron pump bodies. Mechanical seals are removable without motor disassembly for models 5.5 kW and above. AISI 316 stainless steel (X versions) is available for parts in contact with liquid upon request.
Motor Construction:
Air-cooled asynchronous normalized motors with AISI 431 stainless steel shafts and IE3 efficiency rating.
Electronics (MCE-P Inverter):
The MCE-P variable frequency drive ensures constant pressure by adjusting pump speed. It allows for automatic activation of additional pumps in cascade when the first reaches maximum speed, compensating for system pressure fluctuations. Features include user-adjustable pressure setpoints, automatic propagation of settings across multiple pumps, and installation on the motor fan cover for cooling. The D.Connect service enables remote control and monitoring.

Key Features and Services
MCE/P Inverter Modes of Operation
The MCE-P inverter provides constant pressure operation by modulating pump speed. Performance curves illustrate the difference between operation with and without the inverter. The system is designed for efficient operation, maintaining pressure even with varying flow rates.
D.Connect Service
D.Connect offers remote control and monitoring for installations. It allows users to manage systems, optimize operation, and receive prompt notifications for faults. The service is accessible via a website and mobile apps, providing real-time status updates and remote actions. Compatibility requires a D.Connect Box, appropriate cables, compatible products, and an internet connection.
Performance Range and Specifications
The document includes graphical selection tables and detailed performance curves for various NKVE models (1, 2, 3, and 4 pumps) with MCE/P inverters. These curves illustrate the relationship between Head (m) and Flow Rate (m³/h) for different pump configurations. Detailed technical specifications, including power input, maximum flow rate, maximum obtainable pressure, and packing dimensions, are provided in tables for each NKVE series (1 NKVE, 2 NKVE, 3 NKVE, 4 NKVE) and specific models (e.g., 1 NKVE 10/7 S T MCE 400-50).
Hydraulic Efficiency (MEI)
Information on Hydraulic Efficiency, specifically the Minimum Efficiency Index (MEI) as per EU 547/2012 Regulation, is detailed. The MEI is a dimensionless indicator of hydraulic performance, with a reference value of MEI ≥ 0.70 for efficient water pumps. Tables list MEI values for various pump models and stages.
