Arboleaf® Body Composition Smart Scale measures weight, body fat percentage, BMI, and other body composition data using bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) technology. This smart scale is intended for home use only.

Measurement Tips
To have accurate, consistent, and comparable measurement results, follow these DOs and DON'Ts.
DO's
- Place the scale on a flat, hard surface.
- Stand straight on the scale barefoot, with no socks or shoes. Both feet should uniformly touch the four metal electrodes.
- Perform calibration each time. Wait for "CAL" to return to "0.0" before stepping on the scale for measurements.
- Use the scale under the same condition during the same hour each day.
- Empty your bladder before weighing.
DON'Ts
- Do not measure with socks or shoes on.
- Do not measure during or immediately after strenuous exercise.
- Do not measure immediately after a shower, bath, or sauna.
- Do not measure after heavy alcohol consumption.
- Do not measure when you have a fever.
Visual Guides & Scale Display
Foot Placement
- Correct Placement: Diagram shows correct foot placement with bare feet centered on the scale's conductive areas, ensuring even weight distribution. ✔️
- Incorrect Placement: Diagram shows incorrect placement where feet are not centered, too close together, or not making full contact with the conductive areas. ❌
- Conductive Areas: Illustration highlights the conductive areas on the scale surface where feet should be placed.
Scale Display Indicators
- Normal working: Display shows "136.0 lb".
- No display: Indicates the need to change the battery.
- No wireless connection: Display shows "136.0 lb" with a note indicating a connection issue.
- Lo: Indicates the need to change the battery.
- EER: Indicates an overload condition.
- CAL: Indicates the scale is calibrating.
Troubleshooting
No wireless connection between your scale and the app
- Reinstall the Arboleaf app. Exit the app (go to "My Account" -> "Settings" -> "Exit" at the bottom), then delete the app. Reinstall from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Turn Bluetooth off and then on again (via your phone's Settings).
- Power reset your scale: Pull out the batteries and then put them back in.
- For Android 6.0 and above, ensure Location services are enabled.
A non-zero number on scale
Your scale needs another reset:
- Pull one battery out from your scale and put it back.
- IMMEDIATELY place the scale on a hard, flat surface.
- After you see the scale displays "0.0", close the battery cover.

Please read carefully before use:
- Do not use if you have a pacemaker, or any other internal medical devices in your body.
- Do not use if you are pregnant.
- Do not use on slippery floors.
- Do not use when your body is wet.
- Your body compositions may not be accurate after a shower or heavy physical activities.
- This smart scale model is not intended for use by infants or toddlers. Some body composition measurements are not for children under 18.
- Arboleaf smart scale should not be used for treating or diagnosing any medical conditions. Always consult your physician or health professional to determine what is suited for you.

Power Up Scale
Your scale shipment comes with 3 AAA batteries. Put the batteries in the battery compartment. Your scale should display "0.0". The scale is ready for use.
Initial Setup
Step 1: Download "Arboleaf" app and create an account
From the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android), search for "Arboleaf" and download it to your smartphone.
- Download App / Register Account: Icon representing a smartphone with a person silhouette inside, labeled "Register an account". Text "Download “Arboleaf” app or scan the QR code" is present but QR code itself is excluded.
Step 2: Pair scale with smartphone
Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone. For Android 6.0 and above, Location services also need to be enabled. Pairing is done automatically. The Bluetooth icon ? is displayed on the scale.

Take Measurements
Keep your app open on the "Measurements" screen.
- Step 1: Apply pressure to turn on the scale, wait for "CAL" to return to "0.0".
- Step 2: Step on the scale barefoot until numbers are stable.
- Step 3: Check measurements on the app.
Display Sequence During Measurement
- 1. Weight Measurement: The display shows the weight (e.g., "136.0 lb").
- 2. Composition Calculation: The display shows intermediate readings (e.g., "0000 0000").
- 3. Final Reading: The display shows the final weight again (e.g., "136.0 lb").
When the display number flashes twice, it indicates that the weight measurement has finished. When the number "0" stops moving back and forth, the body fat and other body composition measurements have completed.
