The Sonance Professional Series PS-S63T Surface-Mount Speaker utilizes the patented FastMount® bracket and a front cable connection for expedited installation and a clean appearance. Its IPX4 rated construction includes a weatherproof, high-impact, extreme temperature resistant cabinet and a corrosion-proof powder-coated aluminum grille, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. A high-excursion 6.5" polypropylene woofer provides extended low bass, while the chambered 1" soft dome tweeter delivers accurate high-end detail and exceptional coverage. The PS-S63T is certified for UL 1480 (UEAY) and 2239. It is available in black or white (paintable).

Architectural Specifications

The loudspeaker is a two-way, surface-mount, injection-molded ABS enclosure. It features a 6.5" (165mm) polypropylene cone woofer with a butyl rubber surround and a coaxially mounted 1" (25mm) cloth dome, ferrofluid-cooled tweeter. The grille is powder-coated, corrosion-resistant aluminum with a friction-fit. The frequency range is 65Hz – 20KHz (-3dB). Power handling is 60 Watts continuous pink noise and 120 Watts program. Sensitivity is 88dB (2.83V @ 1m, on-axis, 65Hz-20KHz). It includes a line-matching transformer for 70V or 100V systems with selectable power taps (70V: 60W, 30W, 15W, 7.5W; 100V: 60W, 30W, 15W) and an 8 Ohm bypass. The FastMount bracket allows 180° pivot with the speaker less than 1" from the mounting surface. Wiring is via a front-mounted four-pin Euroblock connector with loop-through and a Protected Access Connection Terminal. The system is certified for UL 1480 (UEAY) and UL 2239, conforms to MIL-STD-810 for environmental factors (humidity, salt spray, temperature, UV), and meets IEC 529 IPX4 splash-proof rating. External dimensions are 12.14" H x 7.51" W x 6.86" D (308mm x 191mm x 174mm). Total enclosure weight is 5 lbs (2.27 kg) per unit. Warranty, Remedy, Exclusions and Limitations (USA only)

Limited Warranty

Sonance warrants the product to the original purchaser for five (5) years from the date of original purchase against defects in material and workmanship under normal use. This warranty applies exclusively to the original purchaser.

The warranty is void if the invoice fails to establish purchase from an authorized dealer, the product is misused, neglected, subjected to accident or improper installation, modified by unauthorized personnel, or not used as described.

Exclusive Remedy

Sonance will, at its option, repair or replace any defective product within the five-year warranty period, subject to verification of the defect and proof of purchase.

Warranty Exclusions and Damage Limitations

This warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Sonance disclaims liability for any direct, indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including personal injury, property damage, or lost profits, arising from the product, regardless of the legal theory.
