Samsung "Unpacked" Tombola General Terms and Conditions

Article 1. – Organizer and General Terms of the Tombolas

1.1. The organizer of the tombolas (as described in Article 2 below, the "Tombolas") is Samsung Electronics Romania SRL, Bulgaria Branch, with address: Sofia, "Mihail Tenev" Str. No. 4, "Green Tower" building, 19th floor, office 4, registered in the Commercial Register with the Registry Agency under UIC 201200956 (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer" or "Samsung").

1.2. The Tombolas are held with the assistance of "MEDIAPOST HIT MAIL BULGARIA" EOOD, with registered office and address of management in Sofia, "Petar Dertliev" Blvd. No. 25, floor 2, registered in the Commercial Register with the Registry Agency under UIC 131468795.

1.3. The Tombolas are conducted in accordance with the provisions of these general terms and conditions (the "General Terms"), which are binding and mandatory for all persons who participate in them (the "Participant/Participants"). The General Terms will be published and will be available for the entire period of the Tombolas on the following page: https://www.samsung.com/bg/unpacked/. The Organizer of the Tombolas reserves the right to supplement or amend the General Terms in case of changes in the market environment, changes in the Organizer's market policy, changes in the regulatory framework, prescriptions from competent authorities, if the conduct of the Tombolas is subject to fraud and other unlawful actions by third parties, as well as in any other case when it is necessary to protect the rights and interests of the Participants and/or those of the Organizer, with the changes coming into force after their prior publication.

1.4. By participating in the Tombolas, each Participant declares that they are familiar with these General Terms and that they agree to comply with them. Participants must comply with and observe all conditions, deadlines, and requirements specified in these General Terms.

Article 2. – Registration Period, Venue of the Tombolas, and Drawing of the Tombolas

2.1. The Tombolas are organized and conducted on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.

2.2. The registration period for the Tombolas begins on June 24, 2025, and continues until July 9, 2025, at 16:59. To participate in the Tombolas, the Participant must complete the registration form at https://www.samsung.com/bg/unpacked/, providing their first name, last name, and email address. After registration, the Participant will be automatically entered into Tombola 1. If the Participant also completes the additional questions from the registration form in the next open window of the registration, they will be eligible to participate in Tombola 2.

2.3. The drawing of the winning Participants in the Tombolas will take place in the presence of a notary on July 16, 2025. In Tombola 1, 3 (three) winning Participants and 6 (six) reserve winning Participants will be drawn in order. In Tombola 2, 3 (three) winning Participants and 6 (six) reserve winning Participants will be drawn in order. The total number of winning participants in the Tombola will be 6 (six), and the reserve winning participants will be a total of 12 (twelve), as follows:

• Titleholders – the winning Participants for the prizes in Tombola 1 and Tombola 2 will be those who participated in the Tombolas and were drawn as the first three winning Participants for each of Tombola 1 and Tombola 2. Titleholders will be notified of their prize via an email notification. Within 3 (three) working days of sending the email, the winning Participants must respond to the message and confirm their email address. The Participant may have a phone conversation with a representative of the Organizer or its media partner "MEDIAPOST HIT MAIL BULGARIA" EOOD, after which they must also send the personal data required for tax purposes by email within 3 (three) working days of the initial communication. The data that the Participant must provide to receive their prize are as follows: full name (first name, patronymic, and last name), personal identification number (EGN), phone number, and confirmation of email address. The Titleholder must send their confirmation by email to samsung@mediaposthitmail.bg. If the Titleholder is unable to receive the prize, they must inform the Organizer of their decision within the same period and in the same manner – within 3 working days of receiving the initial notification, via email to samsung@mediaposthitmail.bg. If there is no response from the Titleholder after the 3-day period, the Organizer will proceed to contact and award the prize to a Reserve winning Participant.
• Reserve winning Participants – the consecutively drawn participants after the Titleholders, namely 6 (six) Participants for Tombola 1 and 6 (six) Participants for Tombola 2. Some of the reserve winning Participants will have the opportunity to receive a prize if none of the winners drawn before them (Titleholders and Reserve winning Participants) have provided their data to receive their prize, have provided incorrect or incomplete data, or have refused to receive the prize within the specified deadlines. Reserve winning Participants will have a maximum of 3 (three) working days from the sending of the notification email to provide the necessary data in response: full name (first name, patronymic, and last name), personal identification number (EGN), phone number, and confirmation of email address. Each such Participant must send their confirmation by email to samsung@mediaposthitmail.bg. If the Participant is unable to receive the prize, they must inform the Organizer of their decision within the same period and in the same manner within 3 working days of receiving the notification, via email to samsung@mediaposthitmail.bg. If there is no response from the Participant after the 3-day period, the Organizer will proceed to contact and award the prize to the next Reserve winning Participant in line.

Article 3. – General Terms of the Tombolas

3.1. The General Terms of the Tombola are accessible to anyone wishing to participate in the Tombolas, free of charge and throughout the participation period in the Tombolas, as follows:

• (1) in electronic format, published at https://www.samsung.com/bg/unpacked/.
• (2) in hard copy at the address in Sofia 1335, "Petar Dertliev" Blvd. No. 25, floor 2, provided upon written request sent to the Organizer at the address: Sofia, "Mihail Tenev" Str. No. 4, "Green Tower" building, 19th floor, office 4.

At the Organizer's discretion, the conduct of the Tombolas may be advertised in the public space in any way, including through advertising and/or informational materials. The information contained in these materials should be understood and interpreted in accordance with these General Terms.

Article 4. – Right to Participate

4.1. Only individuals, Bulgarian citizens, who have reached the age of 18 by the date of registration, can participate in the Tombolas. During the registration period for the Tombolas, participants must have completed the registration form at https://www.samsung.com/bg/unpacked/. After registration, the Participant will be automatically entered into Tombola 1. If the Participant also completes the additional questions from the registration form in the next open window of the registration, they will be eligible to participate in Tombola 2.

Registration for the Tombolas and prize redemption do not require a purchase.

4.2. Each Participant wishing to participate in this Tombola must also fulfill the following conditions:

• (1) Agree to and comply with these General Terms of the Tombola;
• (2) Complete the registration form at https://www.samsung.com/bg/unpacked/.

4.3. A Participant is entitled to win only one prize in Tombola 1, but is eligible to win a prize from Tombola 2 if they have met the participation conditions for both draws.

Article 5. – Mechanism of Participation in the Tombolas

5.1. Conditions for valid registration for participation:

For a valid registration in the Tombola, it must be completed during the period from June 24, 2025, to 16:59 on July 9, 2025, and the following requirements must be met:

• (1) The Participant must complete the registration form at https://www.samsung.com/bg/unpacked/. After registration, the Participant will be automatically entered into Tombola 1.
• (2) To participate in Tombola 2 as well, the Participant must complete the additional questions from the registration form in the next open window of the registration.

5.2. Only Participants who meet the conditions in Articles 4 and 5.1 above are eligible to participate in the prize draws in the Tombolas.

5.3. If the Organizer identifies violations of these General Terms by a Participant, the Organizer reserves the right to disqualify the respective Participant.

5.4. The Organizer is not responsible for temporary technical malfunctions of the Tombola page or the related registration form.

5.5. The Organizer is not responsible for registrations made after the deadline specified in this article.

Article 6. – Prizes Awarded in the Tombolas and Drawing of Lots

6.1. The prize draw for the Tombolas will take place on July 16, 2025, in the presence of a notary. In the draw, the names of 3 (three) PARTICIPANTS (Titleholders) for Tombola 1 and 3 (three) PARTICIPANTS (Titleholders) for Tombola 2, who have fulfilled all conditions described in Articles 4 and 5, will be drawn. A Participant is entitled to win only one prize in Tombola 1, but is eligible to win a prize from Tombola 2 if they have met the participation conditions for both Tombolas. After the Titleholders, 6 (six) RESERVE WINNING PARTICIPANTS for Tombola 1 and 6 (six) RESERVE WINNING PARTICIPANTS for Tombola 2 will also be drawn, who may win a prize in the event of circumstances referred to in Article 2.3.

6.2. A Participant may win no more than one prize in each Tombola, in accordance with the requirements of this Article 6, a shopping voucher for the official Samsung online store, located at https://www.samsung.com/bg/.

6.3. WINNING participants will be notified by email to the same email address they used for registration at https://www.samsung.com/bg/unpacked/.

6.4 Prizes are as follows:

• (1) For Tombola 1 – 3 (three) vouchers, each worth BGN 979 (nine hundred and seventy-nine leva) for the purchase of Galaxy devices from the official Samsung online store.
• (2) For Tombola 2 – 3 (three) vouchers, with a total value of BGN 7,477, for purchases in the official Samsung online store, for the following products:
  • New Galaxy Fold - BGN 3,999
  • New Galaxy Flip - BGN 2,349
  • New Galaxy Watch - BGN 1,129
• (3) Vouchers are valid from the moment of their receipt until August 31, 2025, for the purchase of the respective Galaxy devices from the official Samsung online store: https://www.samsung.com/bg/.

6.5. Prizes will be awarded to winning Participants who have fulfilled all conditions described in these General Terms, via the email address that the Participant used for registration in the Tombolas.

6.6. The winning Participant's right to receive the prize is non-hereditary and cannot be transferred to other persons. The prize cannot be exchanged for its monetary equivalent.

6.7. Unclaimed prizes remain the property of the Organizer.

6.9. The Organizer is not responsible for technical malfunctions of the Tombola page or the related registration form.

6.10. If the Organizer identifies violations of these General Terms by a Participant, including in cases where it is evident from the information received by the Organizer that the Participant has not fulfilled or has violated any of the conditions of these General Terms, the Organizer has the right to disqualify the Participant and deprive them of the right to participate in the prize tombolas.

6.11. Prizes will be sent to winning Participants during the period from July 25, 2025, to July 30, 2025.

6.12. In case of incomplete or inaccurate participation information submitted by a Participant during the official participation period from June 24, 2025, to 16:59 on July 9, 2025, the Organizer's partner agency will contact the respective Participants to clarify and confirm the entered data. The contact will be made via the email address provided by the Participant, and in case of unsuccessful contact with the respective Participant, the Organizer reserves the right to consider the registration invalid.

Article 7. – Exclusion from Participation in the Tombolas

7.1. The Organizer has the right to exclude from participation in the Tombola persons who do not meet the conditions set forth in Articles 4, 5, and 6.

Article 8. – Taxes and Expenses

8.1. In accordance with the provisions of the Personal Income Tax Act (PITA), monetary and in-kind prizes with a value exceeding BGN 100 (one hundred) leva, received by individuals through games, competitions, and contests not provided by an employer or client, are subject to taxation. The winning participant must provide the Organizer with the following data: their full name (first name, patronymic, and last name) and personal identification number (EGN), as the Organizer is obliged to declare annually the amounts paid for monetary and in-kind prizes (over BGN 100) in a declaration under Article 73 of PITA. If the winning participant refuses to provide the required data, the Organizer reserves the right to refuse to send the prize.

8.2. The individual value of the prizes awarded under these terms is over BGN 100.

Article 9. – Limitation of Liability

9.1. The Organizer is authorized to take all necessary measures in case of an attempted fraud in the system, abuse, or other attempts that could harm the Organizer's reputation.

9.2. The Organizer of the Tombolas is not responsible for any expenses incurred by the Participant in connection with the Tombola.

9.3. In case of a dispute regarding the validity of a registration made in the Tombolas, the dispute shall be reviewed by a committee consisting of employees of the Organizer.

9.4. The Organizer is released from liability in the following cases:

• (1) Online registration on a page other than https://www.samsung.com/bg/unpacked/, which may lead to the non-submission of the required information to the Organizer;
• (2) Registrations made outside the period of the Tombolas;
• (3) Any error in the data provided by the Participants; the accuracy of the provided data is entirely the responsibility of the Participants, and the Organizer is not responsible for any inaccuracies and errors, due to which the latter has no obligations in cases where it cannot award a prize from the Tombola;
• (4) The Organizer is not responsible if a winning Participant fails to utilize the prize awarded in the Tombola;
• (5) The Organizer is not responsible in cases where a prize cannot be awarded due to an incorrect or incomplete email address;
• (6) The Organizer is not responsible for any claims related to prize redemption after confirmation of its receipt;
• (7) Technical problems with the internet provider;
• (8) Blocking of the Participant's email address or other problems with the functionality of their email;
• (9) Errors arising from the incorrect use of Participants' mobile phones (power failure, errors generated by the operating system, errors generated by viruses, errors generated due to technologies used by the Participant to influence the results of the Tombola);
• (10) Cases where certain individuals cannot participate in the Tombolas fully or partially, if they are the result of circumstances beyond the Organizer's control. Such circumstances may be due to: inaccurate, incomplete information provided with interruptions, provided outside the time or otherwise changed as a result of user actions on the page, the functioning of their personal mobile phones, applications or other technologies used for the purposes of the Tombolas. Such circumstances may also be due to technical difficulties that affect the operation of the internet connection and/or computer technology and/or applications of the internet provider and/or difficulties with email operation, both for the Organizer and the Participant, caused by technical problems and/or heavy internet traffic in general and/or in relation to the Tombola page. Such circumstances may also be due to: damage or malfunction in mobile and/or computer technologies, applications and/or stored information of Participants or third parties after their registration in the Tombola. Such circumstances may also be due to changes in legislation that affect the conduct of the Tombola (such as decisions of competent state authorities, military actions, natural disasters, and other similar events), the benefits received from the Tombolas, their value, their use, the terms of prize award, and/or their dispatch.

9.5. The Organizer is authorized to disqualify a Participant for non-compliance with these General Terms of the Tombolas or if there is evidence that the respective person has taken actions against the Tombolas or to sabotage or disrupt the Tombolas.

Article 10. – Processing of Personal Data

10.1. By registering to participate in the Tombolas, Participants accept and agree to comply with these General Terms. In connection with their fulfillment, Participants must provide certain personal data necessary for their registration and, possibly, for prize redemption. Without this minimum amount of data, the Organizer cannot draw the Participant's name, contact the Participant, or comply with the legal requirements applicable in the case.

10.2. The personal data of all Participants in the Tombolas are processed in accordance with the applicable European and national legislation, this Article 10, and, where applicable, Samsung's Privacy Policy, available at: http://www.samsung.com/bg/info/privacy/.

10.3. The Organizer of the Tombolas is the administrator of the personal data collected in connection with it (hereinafter referred to as the "Administrator" in this Article 10). In addition, the Tombolas are conducted with the assistance of "MEDIAPOST HIT MAIL BULGARIA" EOOD, as indicated in Article 1.2. of these General Terms. It is possible that "MEDIAPOST HIT MAIL BULGARIA" EOOD may have access to and process the personal data of the Participants in the Tombolas on behalf of the Administrator. In such cases, "MEDIAPOST HIT MAIL BULGARIA" EOOD will act as a processor of the Administrator's personal data (hereinafter referred to as the "Processor" in this Article 10).

10.4. For the purposes of these Tombolas, the Administrator collects the following categories of personal data from Participants, which Participants voluntarily provide upon registration:

• Participant's first and last name;
• phone number;
• email address;

In the event that the Participant is drawn as a winner (Titleholder and/or Reserve winning Participant) – the Administrator is obliged to collect the patronymic and EGN of these persons for tax purposes.

10.5. The provision of the aforementioned data is a necessary requirement for participation in the Tombola; otherwise, participation will not be possible.

10.6. The Administrator will process the aforementioned personal data of the Participants for the purpose of administering the Tombolas, namely organizing and conducting the Tombolas according to these General Terms, identifying and confirming the winners, awarding prizes, and fulfilling the Administrator's financial and accounting obligations.

10.7. The legal basis for the processing of personal data is, first and foremost, the fulfillment of the contract with the Participants for the conduct of the Tombolas, which these General Terms, to which the Participants explicitly agree, represent. The Administrator may also process Participants' personal data based on its legal obligation, where applicable (such as compliance with tax and accounting requirements).

10.8. Except where a longer period is provided by law (e.g., for dispute resolution, tax audits, and accounting purposes), the Administrator will store Participants' personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which they were collected and will delete those that are no longer needed for the protection of interests or in accordance with the law. Registrations created by Participants are closed as quickly as possible after the end of the campaign and prize distribution, and will not be used for other purposes.

10.9. Upon expiry of the personal data retention period, the Administrator shall destroy/delete the personal data from the storage and processing media, obliging and ensuring that the personal data processor does the same.

10.10. Participants have the following rights regarding the processing of their personal data in connection with the Tombola:

• (a) The right to be informed by the Administrator whether their personal data are being processed and to obtain a copy thereof, as well as additional information related to their processing;
• (b) The right to request the correction of inaccurate personal data relating to them, as well as the right to supplement incomplete personal data;
• (c) The right to receive their personal data, which they have provided to the Administrator, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format; if requested and technically feasible, the Administrator may transfer this data to another administrator designated by the Participant;
• (d) The right to request the erasure of personal data relating to them, where the personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed; where they have been processed unlawfully; or where they must be erased to comply with the Administrator's legal obligations;
• (e) The right to request the restriction of processing, where they contest the accuracy of the personal data for a period that allows the Administrator to verify the accuracy of the data; where the processing is unlawful, but the Participant does not wish the personal data to be erased, but instead requests the restriction of their use; and where the Administrator no longer needs the personal data for the purposes of processing, but the Participant requires them for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
• (f) The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if they believe that the processing of their personal data violates applicable Bulgarian legislation. The competent supervisory authority for Bulgaria is the Commission for Personal Data Protection.

Participants should be aware that their rights are not absolute and are limited by the rights of others, including the rights of the Administrator, which in some cases may take precedence. In this regard, some of the Participants' rights (especially those in letters b) to e)) may not be applicable or may be restricted.

10.11. Participants may exercise their rights under letters a) to d) above by submitting an application to the Administrator for the exercise of the respective right in one of the following ways, whichever is more convenient for them:

• (a) Electronically at the following address: https://www.europe-samsung.com/gdpr/webform/bg; or
• (b) By mail, to the address of the Administrator's management: Sofia, "Mihail Tenev" Str. No. 4, "Green Tower" building, 19th floor, office 4.

10.12. The application must contain the following information:

• (a) Information that allows the Administrator to identify the Participant;
• (b) Preferred method of communication with the Participant;
• (c) Description of the request.

10.13. The Administrator will provide information about the actions taken on the application within one month of receiving the request. If necessary, this period may be extended by another two months, taking into account the complexity and number of requests from the respective Participant.

10.14. The Administrator may request additional information necessary to verify the Participant's identity or for further checks on their application.

10.15. Participants' personal data may be provided by the Administrator to its media partner "MEDIAPOST HIT MAIL BULGARIA" EOOD, to subcontractors and service providers engaged by the Administrator in connection with the organization of the Tombola; to accountants, tax consultants, or other experts as needed to fulfill the Administrator's obligations; to companies within the corporate group to which Samsung belongs, within the EU/EEA; to state authorities in accordance with the law; to lawyers or legal advisors in case of disputes or other legal proceedings.

10.16. Participants' personal data are stored within the EU/EEA.

Article 11. – Termination/Suspension of the Tombola. Force Majeure Events

11.1. The Organizer has the right to terminate the Tombolas (including with respect to an individual Participant) at any time by announcing it in accordance with Article 3, in case of abuse by the Participants in the Tombolas, violation of the General Terms, and/or force majeure. In such cases, no compensation is due to the participants.

11.2. The Tombolas may be terminated before the end of the campaign period due to the occurrence of events that may be considered force majeure, including when the Organizer, for reasons beyond its control, cannot ensure the normal conduct of the Tombolas.

11.3. Force majeure events are all events that cannot be foreseen, controlled, or prevented by the Organizer, including when the Organizer, despite exercising due diligence, is unable to fulfill its obligations under these General Terms due to the occurrence of such an event.

Article 12. – Disputes

12.1. All disputes arising between the Organizer and the Participants in connection with the conduct of the Tombolas shall be resolved amicably between the parties. In the event that an amicable resolution of the dispute cannot be reached, the dispute shall be submitted for resolution to the competent courts in Bulgaria.
