Product Overview

The PXN V9 is a gaming steering wheel designed for an immersive racing experience across multiple platforms including PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X&S, and Nintendo Switch.

Product Appearance

The steering wheel features a D-pad (A, B, X, Y buttons), indicator lights, function buttons, a switch for rotation degree, left and right paddles, and connects to pedals and a shifter.

Connection Interfaces

The rear of the steering wheel includes ports for controller connection, headphones, pedals, shifter, and a USB cable.

Connecting to Different Platforms

Connecting to PS4

1. Connect pedals and shifter as needed.
2. Turn off the original PS4 controller. Connect it to the steering wheel's USB guide port using a Micro USB cable.
3. Plug the steering wheel's USB cable into the PS4 console and power on the PS4.
4. Press the MODE button on the steering wheel. A solid red indicator light signifies a successful connection.

Connecting to Nintendo Switch

Via SWITCH Dock:

1. Connect pedals and shifter as needed.
2. Place the SWITCH console into the dock.
3. Plug the steering wheel's USB cable into the SWITCH dock and power on the console.
4. A solid red indicator light on the steering wheel indicates a successful connection.

Via SWITCH Console (using OTG adapter):

1. Connect pedals and shifter as needed.
2. Plug the Type-C OTG adapter into the SWITCH console.
3. Connect the steering wheel's USB cable to the Type-C adapter.
4. A solid red indicator light on the steering wheel indicates a successful connection. (Note: OTG adapter is sold separately).

Connecting to PC

1. Connect pedals and shifter as needed.
2. Plug the steering wheel's USB cable into the PC.
3. The steering wheel defaults to X-input mode, indicated by a solid red light.
4. To switch modes (X-input/D-input), press and hold the MODE button for 3 seconds until the red indicator flashes, then release. A solid red light indicates successful mode switching.

Recommended PC Games:

• X-input Mode: "Truck Life", "Euro Truck Simulator 2"
• D-input Mode: "Need for Speed 15" and above, "Half-Life 2/3/4", "Ridge Racer"

Connecting to PS3

1. Connect pedals and shifter as needed.
2. Plug the steering wheel's USB cable into the PS3 console and power on the PS3.
3. A solid red indicator light signifies a successful connection, allowing you to start games or configure functions.

Connecting to Xbox One / Xbox Series X&S

1. Connect pedals and shifter as needed.
2. Turn off the original Xbox One/Series X&S controller. Connect it to the steering wheel's USB guide port using a Micro USB cable.
3. Plug the steering wheel's USB cable into the Xbox One/Series X&S console and power on the console.
4. Press the MODE button on the steering wheel. A solid red indicator light on both the steering wheel and controller signifies a successful connection.

Advanced Settings and Functions

Maximum Steering Effective Angle Setting

This feature allows you to set the maximum rotation angle of the steering wheel. For example, setting it to 180 degrees means 90 degrees left and 90 degrees right will be the maximum effective rotation.

1. Turn the steering wheel to the "900° gear" position.
2. Press and hold the "PROG" button until the red indicator flashes, then release.
3. Rotate the steering wheel to your desired angle (minimum 60 degrees) and press the "OPTIONS" button. The red indicator will turn solid, confirming the setting.

Sensitivity Adjustment

Adjust the steering wheel's sensitivity for different gaming experiences.

• High Sensitivity: Press and hold "PROG" until the red indicator flashes quickly. Press "▲" on the D-pad to save.
• Medium Sensitivity: Press and hold "PROG" until the red indicator flashes quickly. Press "◀" on the D-pad to save.
• Low Sensitivity: Press and hold "PROG" until the red indicator flashes quickly. Press "▼" on the D-pad to save.

(Note: High and Medium sensitivity are suitable for PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X&S. Low sensitivity is suitable for PC.)

Button Programming

You can program various buttons on the steering wheel and shifter to custom functions.

1. Press and hold the "PROG" button for 3 seconds until the red indicator flashes quickly.
2. Press the "Setting Button"; the red indicator will flash slowly.
3. Press the button you wish to program. The red indicator will remain solid upon successful programming.

Programmable Buttons: A, B, X, Y, L1, L2, R1, R2, Left Paddle, Right Paddle, Left Pedal, Middle Pedal, Right Pedal, L3, R3, High/Low Gear button, Handbrake button, 1-6 Gears, R-Gear.

Clearing Programmed Buttons:

• Clear All: Press and hold "PROG" for 3 seconds until it flashes quickly. Press and hold "PROG" again to exit programming. The system also exits automatically after 10 seconds of inactivity.
• Clear Single Button: Press and hold "PROG" for 3 seconds until it flashes quickly. Press the "Setting Button" twice.
• Reset All to Default: Press and hold "PROG" for 3 seconds until it flashes quickly. Then, press and hold the "OPTIONS" button for 4 seconds. The red indicator will remain solid, and sensitivity will reset to high.

Shifter Function

The shifter has a High/Low Gear Shifting function (button ❶) and a Handbrake Switch function (button ❷).

Audio Communication Function

The steering wheel supports audio communication for voice interaction on PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X&S. Note: This function may be limited when the shifter is connected to the steering wheel on Xbox One/Series X&S.

Function Testing on PC

You can test the steering wheel's functions via the PC's game controller settings.

• Windows 7: Control Panel → Devices and Printers → Right-click Controller icon → Game Controller Setting → Properties → Testing.
• Windows 10: Settings → Devices → Device and Printer → Right-click Controller icon → Game Controller Setting → Properties → Testing.
