Introduction
This notice is to inform you of a labeling change for Auto Switch Connector Cables / D-LC* Series.
1. Affected Models
The following models are subject to this change:
- D-LC05 / LC30 / LC50 (including special order items)
- Products assembled with auto switches, or products selected by incorporating the above products into drive units or directional control units.
Applicable Auto Switches:
- Sealed Auto Switches: D-A73C*/A80C*/B73C*/B80C*/C73C*/C80C*/R73*C*/R80*C*
- Non-Sealed Auto Switches: D-H7C*/J79C*/K79C*/T79*C*

Note: For special order items, it may be difficult to determine the auto switch part number, so other actuators or products not listed above may also be affected.
2. Change Details
To prevent counterfeiting:
- The company's registered trademark will be added to the lead wire.
- The cable marker printed with "SMC" will be changed to a blank cable marker.
Refer to attached documents for further details.
3. Reason for Change
To secure industrial property rights and prevent counterfeit products.
4. Effective Date
Running change starting from July 1, 2021.
Note: As this change occurs after the depletion of existing stock, the transition timing may vary.

Scheduled for website update in July 2021.

9. Special Order Drawing Handling
The technical department will only modify drawings for which requests have been received. Please contact us separately if necessary.
10. Conventional Product Supply
Supply will be provided until June 30, 2021, for the quantity for which production requests have been issued. After the deadline, supply will be limited to available stock.

Visual Description of Change
The change involves the cable marker and lead wire of the auto switch connector cable.
Old State: A cable marker with individual "S", "M", "C" markings was attached. The connector fixing ring was present.
New State:
- The "SMC" text on the cable marker is replaced with a blank cable marker. This blank marker is also intended to prevent the connector fixing ring from dislodging.
- The SMC trademark is added to the lead wire.
