Energy
- Do not overload outlets, extension cords, or adapters beyond their voltage and capacity. This may cause fire or electric shock. Refer to the power specifications section of the manual or the power supply label on the product for voltage and amperage information.
- Route power cords so they are not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed on or against them. Pay particular attention to cords at the plug ends, wall outlets, and the point where they exit the appliance.
- Never insert metallic objects into any open parts of this device. This may cause electric shock.
- To avoid electric shock, never touch the internal parts of this device. This device should only be opened by qualified service personnel.
- Ensure the power cord is connected until it is firmly seated. When disconnecting the power cord from an outlet, always pull by the power cord plug. Never disconnect by pulling the power cord. Do not touch the power cord with wet hands.
- If this appliance does not operate normally—especially, if it emits unusual sounds or odors—unplug it immediately and contact an authorized dealer or Samsung service center.
- To protect this device from lightning strikes, or when left unused for long periods, ensure it is unplugged from the wall outlet and the antenna or cable system is disconnected.
- Accumulated dust may cause electric shock, electrical leakage, or fire, causing the power cord to spark and heat up, or the insulation to deteriorate.
- Use only properly grounded plugs and outlets. Improper grounding may cause electric shock or equipment damage. (For Class I equipment only.)
- To completely disconnect this device, it must be unplugged from the wall outlet. To ensure this device can be disconnected quickly if necessary, make sure the wall outlet and power plug are readily accessible.
Installation
- Do not place this device near or over a space heater or electric heater, or where it is exposed to direct sunlight.
- Do not place containers (e.g., vases) containing water on this device, as this may result in fire or electric shock.
- Do not expose this appliance to rain or moisture.
- Contact an authorized Samsung service center for information if you plan to install your TV in a location with excessive dust, high or low temperatures, high humidity, chemicals, or where it will operate 24 hours a day (e.g., an airport, train station). Failure to do so may cause serious damage to your TV.
- Do not expose this device to splashes.
Wall Mounting the TV
If this TV is wall-mounted, follow the instructions exactly as recommended by the manufacturer. If not installed properly, the TV may slide or fall, causing serious injury to children or adults and seriously damaging the TV.
- The Samsung wall mount kit is not included with the product and is sold separately at the Samsung Service Center.
- Samsung Electronics is not responsible for any product damage or injury caused to you or others if you decide to install the wall mount yourself.
- Samsung is not responsible for product damage or injury when a non-specified or non-VESA-compliant wall mount is used, or when the consumer does not follow the product installation instructions.
- Install the mount on a solid wall perpendicular to the floor. Before attaching the mount to surfaces other than drywall, contact your nearest dealer for additional information. If you install the TV on the ceiling or an inclined wall, it may fall and cause serious personal injury.
- When installing the wall mount kit, it is recommended to tighten all four VESA screws.
- If you wish to install a wall mount kit using only the two upper screws, ensure you use a Samsung wall mount kit that supports this type of installation. (This type of wall mount kit may not be available for purchase depending on your geographic region.)
- Do not install the TV at an inclination greater than 15 degrees.
- Standard dimensions for wall mount kits are shown in the table below in the Unpacking and Installation Manual.
- [Warning Symbol] Do not install the wall mount kit while the TV is powered on. This may cause injury due to electric shock.
- Do not use screws longer than the standard dimension or that do not comply with VESA specifications for standard screws. Screws that are too long may damage the interior of the TV.
- For wall mounts that do not comply with VESA specifications for standard screws, the screw length may differ depending on the mount specifications.
- Do not overtighten the screws. This may damage the product or cause it to fall, resulting in injury. Samsung is not responsible for such accidents.
- Always have two people to install the TV on the wall. Models of 82 inches or larger require four people to install the TV on the wall.
Providing Adequate Ventilation for the TV
When installing your TV* and the One Connect Box, maintain a distance of at least 10 cm between the TV* and the One Connect Box and other objects (walls, furniture sides, etc.) to ensure adequate ventilation. Failure to provide adequate ventilation may cause fire or product issues due to increased internal temperature.
*: One Connect models only
If using a TV stand or wall mount, it is highly recommended to use only parts provided by Samsung Electronics. Using parts provided by another manufacturer may cause product problems or injuries from the product falling.
Safety Precautions
⚠️ Caution: Pushing, leaning, or climbing on the TV can cause it to fall. Do not lean on or destabilize the TV. This can cause the TV to tip over and result in serious injury or death.
Follow all safety instructions provided in the safety booklet that accompanies the TV. For added stability and safety, you can purchase and install an anti-tip device by following the instructions in "To prevent the TV from falling."
❗ WARNING: Never place the TV in an unstable location. The TV may fall, causing injury or death. Many injuries can be avoided by taking simple precautions, such as:
- Always use cabinets, stands, or mounting methods recommended by Samsung.
- Always use furniture that can safely support the TV.
- Always ensure the TV is not overhanging the edge of the supporting furniture.
- Always instruct children about the dangers of climbing on furniture to reach the TV or its controls.
- Always organize the cables connected to the TV so they are not tripped over or pulled or grabbed.
- Never place the TV on unstable furniture.
- Never place the TV on top of high furniture (e.g., cabinets or bookshelves) without securing both the furniture and the TV to a suitable support.
- Never place the TV on fabric or other materials that may be located between the TV and the furniture.
- Never place items that encourage climbing, such as toys and remote controls, on top of the television or on the furniture where the television is placed. If an existing TV is moved to another location, the same considerations mentioned above apply.
- When you need to reposition or lift your TV for replacement or cleaning, do not remove the stand.
To Prevent the TV from Falling
[Anchor Symbol] (not provided)
- Using appropriate screws, firmly attach one set of brackets to the wall. Ensure the screws are securely fastened to the wall. Depending on the wall type, other materials such as anchors may be required.
- Using screws of the appropriate size, firmly attach one set of brackets to the TV. For screw specifications, refer to "Standard Screw" in the Unpacking and Installation Manual.
- Connect the brackets attached to the TV and the brackets attached to the wall with a durable, strong cable, and then secure the cable firmly.
- Install the TV close to the wall so it does not fall backward.
- Connect the cable so that the wall-mounted brackets are at the same height as the TV-mounted brackets or at a height below these brackets.
Precautions When Installing the TV with a Stand (The Frame Series Only)
When installing the TV with a stand, avoid placing the stand on the back surface of the table. Doing so may cause the motion sensor on the bottom of the TV to not function correctly.

Important Information Regarding TV Format Viewing Warranty
Refer to the warranty terms for more information about the product warranty included in this manual.
Wide screen (16:9 aspect ratio) LED screens are primarily designed to display full-motion video in widescreen format. Images displayed on them should primarily be in 16:9 widescreen format, or be expanded to fill the screen if your model offers such a function and the images are in constant motion. The display of static graphics and images on the screen, such as the side black bars on standard, non-expanded format TV programs and videos, should be limited to no more than 5% of the total weekly TV viewing time. Furthermore, the display of other static images and text, such as stock market news, video game displays, logos, websites, or computer graphics and patterns, should be limited for all TVs as described above. Displaying static images beyond the above guidelines may cause uneven wear on the LED screens and, consequently, permanent ghosting issues on the screen. To prevent this, vary the programming and images, displaying full-screen moving images rather than static images or black bars. On LED models that offer image framing features, use these controls to view different formats as a full-screen image.
Be mindful of the selection and duration of TV formats used for viewing. Uneven wear of the LED screen as a result of format selection and usage, as well as permanent ghost images, are not covered by the Samsung limited warranty.
