Energy Precautions
- Do not overload wall outlets, extension cords, or adapters beyond their voltage and capacity. This may cause fire or electric shock.
- Refer to the power specifications section of the manual or the power supply label on the product for voltage and amperage information.
- Route power cables so they are not walked on or pinched by objects placed on or against them. Pay special attention to cables at the ends of plugs, wall outlets, and where they exit the appliance.
- Never insert metallic objects into open parts of this device. This may cause electric shock.
- To prevent electric shock, never touch the inside of this device. This device should only be opened by a qualified technician.
- Ensure the power cable is firmly connected. When disconnecting the power cable from an outlet, always pull the plug. Never disconnect by pulling the cable. Do not touch the power cable with wet hands.
- If this appliance does not function normally — especially if it emits unusual sounds or odors — disconnect it immediately and contact an authorized dealer or Samsung service center.
- To protect this device from lightning strikes, or when not in use for long periods, disconnect it from the wall outlet and disconnect the antenna or cable system.
- Accumulated dust can cause electric shock, current leakage, or fire, causing the power cable to spark and heat up or insulation to deteriorate.
- Use only properly grounded plugs and outlets. Improper grounding can cause electric shock or equipment damage. (Only for Class I equipment.)
- To completely turn off this device, disconnect it from the wall outlet. To ensure this device can be disconnected quickly, if necessary, ensure the wall outlet and power connector are readily accessible.
Installation Guidelines
- Do not place this device near or on a radiator, heater, or where it is exposed to direct sunlight.
- Do not place containers (vases, etc.) containing water on this device, as this may result in fire or electric shock.
- Do not expose this appliance to rain or moisture.
- Contact an authorized Samsung service center for information if you intend to install your TV in a dusty, high or low temperature, high humidity, chemical substance, or 24/7 operational environment (e.g., airport, train station). Failure to do so may cause serious damage to your TV.
- Do not expose this device to splashes.
Wall Mount Installation
If this TV is wall-mounted, follow the manufacturer's instructions exactly. If not properly installed, the TV may slide or fall, causing serious injury to children or adults and seriously damaging the TV.
- The Samsung wall mount kit is not included and is sold separately at Samsung Service Centers.
- Samsung Electronics is not responsible for any product damage or injury caused to you or others if you decide to install the wall mount yourself.
- Samsung is not responsible for product damage or injury when using an unspecified wall mount or one that does not comply with VESA standards, or when the consumer does not follow the product installation instructions.
- Install the mount on a solid wall perpendicular to the floor. Before attaching the mount to non-plaster surfaces, contact the nearest dealer for additional information. If you install the TV on the ceiling or an inclined wall, it may fall and cause serious personal injury.
- When installing the wall mount kit, Samsung recommends tightening all four VESA screws.
- If you wish to install a wall mount kit using only the two upper screws, ensure you use a Samsung wall mount kit that supports this type of installation. (This type of wall mount kit may not be available depending on the geographical region.)
- Do not install the TV at an incline greater than 15 degrees.
- Standard measurements for wall mount kits are shown in the table in the Unpacking and Installation Manual.
- Do not install the wall mount kit while the TV is powered on. This may cause injuries due to electric shock.
- Do not use screws longer than the standard dimension or that do not comply with VESA specifications for standard screws. Very long screws can damage the inside of the TV.
- For wall mounts that do not comply with VESA specifications for standard screws, screw length may vary depending on the mount's specifications.
- Do not overtighten screws. This can damage the product or cause it to fall, leading to injuries. Samsung is not responsible for these types of accidents.
- Always get help from two people to install the TV on the wall.
- 82-inch or larger models require four people to install the TV on the wall.
Adequate Ventilation for the TV
When installing your TV and the One Connect Box, maintain a minimum distance of 10 cm between the TV and the One Connect Box and other objects (walls, furniture sides, etc.) to ensure adequate ventilation. Failure to provide adequate ventilation may cause fire or product problems due to internal temperature increase.
- One Connect is only for models with support.
- If using a stand or wall mount for the TV, it is highly recommended to use only parts provided by Samsung Electronics. Using parts from another manufacturer may cause product problems or injuries due to product fall.
Safety Precaution
- Always use cabinets, stands, or mounting methods recommended by Samsung.
- Always use furniture that can safely support the TV.
- Always ensure the TV is not hanging over the edge of the supporting furniture.
- Always instruct about the dangers of climbing on furniture to reach the TV or its controls.
- Always organize cables connected to the TV so they are not tripped over, pulled, or grabbed.
- Never place the TV in an unstable location.
- Never place the TV on tall furniture (e.g., cabinets or bookshelves) without securing both the furniture and the TV with an appropriate support.
- Never place fabrics or other materials that may be between the TV and the furniture.
- Never place items that encourage climbing, such as toys and remote controls, on top of the television or on the furniture where the television is placed.
- If the existing TV is moved to another location, the same considerations mentioned above apply.
- When repositioning or lifting your TV for replacement or cleaning, do not remove the base.
To Prevent the TV from Falling

Important Warranty Information Regarding TV Format Viewing
Refer to the warranty terms for more information about the product warranty included in this manual.
LED screens in widescreen format (16:9 aspect ratio) are essentially designed to display full motion video in widescreen format. Images displayed on them should primarily be in 16:9 widescreen format, or expanded to fill the screen if your model offers such a function, and images should be in constant motion. Display of static graphics and images on the screen, such as dark side bars in standard format TV programming and videos not expanded, should be limited to no more than 5% of the total TV viewing time per week.
Additionally, the display of other static images and texts, such as stock ticker news, video game displays, logos, websites, or computer graphics and patterns, should be limited for all TVs as described above. Display of static images exceeding the above guidelines may cause uneven wear of LED screens and, consequently, permanent duplicate image problems on the screen. To prevent this, vary programming and images, displaying moving images, full screen, instead of static images or dark bars.
On LED models that offer image framing features, use these controls to view different formats as a full-screen image.
Be aware of the selection and duration of TV formats used for viewing. Uneven wear of the LED screen as a result of format selection and use, as well as permanent ghost images, are not covered by the limited Samsung warranty.
