Fig. 3. Nano receiver: This illustration shows the compact USB nano receiver (labeled 3) that connects to the computer.
5. INSTALLATION
Step 1: Battery Installation
Open the cover of the mouse battery compartment. Insert two AAA batteries into the battery compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery compartment cover. (Refer to Fig. 4 for details).
Step 2: Receiver Connection
Connect the included nano receiver to a free PC USB port. (Refer to Fig. 5 for details).
Step 3: Powering On
Turn on the mouse using the power switch on the bottom (set to the ON position). To activate the mouse, press any button or turn the scroll wheel. The mouse should turn on automatically if connected correctly.
Step 4: Storing the Receiver
After finishing work, turn off the mouse using the power switch (set to the OFF position). You can then pull out the receiver from the PC USB port and store it inside the mouse. (Refer to Fig. 6 for fitting and Fig. 7 for extraction).
Important Usage Notes:
- Do not place the receiver into a confined metal space (e.g., a table drawer, box, safe), as metal can block radio signals.
- If the batteries are low, the mouse may operate intermittently. Replace the batteries with new ones of the same type, as shown in Fig. 4.
Important Note on Energy Conservation:
This device is designed for high energy conservation. Use the power switch on the bottom of the mouse to turn it on/off to help extend the battery life.
Diagrams for Installation:
Fig. 4. Battery installation: This diagram shows the battery compartment on the mouse's underside. It illustrates inserting two AAA batteries with correct polarity. A warning symbol ⚠️ is present with the text: "Improper installation of batteries can result in failure of the mouse!". The battery compartment cover is also shown.
