This document provides assembly instructions and warranty information for the ZINUS Dark Grey Upholstered Essential Platform Bed Frame. This bed frame is designed to provide a sturdy foundation for your mattress without requiring a box spring. It is available in Full, Queen, and King sizes.

Please verify you have all the following parts before beginning assembly:

• A (x1pc): Main frame support piece
• B (x2pcs): Side rails
• C (x2pcs): Headboard/Footboard connection pieces
• D (x2pcs): Wood slats
• E (x4pcs): Legs
• Screws: 12 pre-installed, 2 additional, 1 additional

Note: King Size Legs are located inside the footboard.

Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps carefully to assemble your ZINUS Essential Platform Bed Frame.

1. Step 1: Attach Legs to Frame

   Take the main frame support piece (A). Attach the legs (A) to the designated points on the frame. Arrows indicate the direction of attachment. Ensure a secure fit.

2. Step 2: Connect Side Rails and Headboard/Footboard

   Take the side rails (B) and the headboard/footboard connection pieces (C). Connect the side rails (B) to the headboard/footboard pieces (C) using the provided hardware. A close-up view shows the connection mechanism, likely involving bolts or brackets.

3. Step 3: Complete Frame Assembly

   Attach the remaining legs (E) to the assembled frame. The image shows four legs (E) being attached, and the main frame support piece (A) being secured. Ensure all legs are firmly attached and the frame is stable.

4. Step 4: Install Slats

   Place the wood slats (D) across the width of the assembled bed frame. The diagram shows two sets of slats (D) being positioned. Ensure they are evenly spaced.

5. Step 5: Secure Mattress

   Peel off the upper strip from the wood slats. This strip contains non-slip tape designed to keep your mattress in place and prevent shifting.

6. Step 6: Final Assembly

   Your ZINUS Essential Platform Bed Frame is now assembled. Place your mattress on top of the slats. The frame is ready for use.

If you wish to return the foundation, please contact ZINUS Customer Service directly at 1-800-613-1225 before returning. The item must be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. It must be in good condition, in its original box, with all proof of purchase, parts, and accessories.

5-Year Limited Warranty Statement For Manufacturing Defects

This warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not cover damages from misuse. To maintain your warranty, comply with the conditions stated.

1. Register your product at www.zinus.com/resources/register for up-to-date warranty and product information.
2. The warranty begins on the date of purchase and is valid for 5 years against manufacturing defects. An original sales receipt is required. The warranty applies only to the foundation and not to any mattress placed on it.
3. Manufacturing defects include circumstances where the product breaks under normal use and no longer provides proper support. Proper support is defined as a smooth, flat, rigid surface. Stop using the product immediately if a defect is encountered and contact customer service. Minor loose welds from transit or normal use are not considered defects unless 5 or more are loose at purchase. The manufacturer is not responsible for improper consumer assembly.
4. This warranty applies only when the foundation is used properly by consumers who purchased it from authorized dealers. Proper use means placing the foundation on a level surface with all legs touching the floor and equal weight distribution. Abuse by the consumer, as defined by the manufacturer, voids the warranty. This warranty does not guarantee replacement of other parts.
5. If the foundation fails due to manufacturing defects, ZINUS will repair or replace it at its discretion, reserving the right to substitute comparable materials or models. ZINUS does not guarantee that replacement parts will match the existing piece or foundation.
6. If the foundation requires inspection for a warranty claim, the consumer bears the transportation cost or removal cost.
