Introduction

Congratulations on purchasing the modern, technologically advanced Vaporesso XROS device.

Important Information

Before first use, please read this user manual carefully and keep it for future reference.

Warnings

This device functions as an electronic cigarette, and the same restrictions apply as for tobacco products:

1. Sale to persons under 18 years of age is prohibited.
2. The product is not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women.
3. The product is not recommended for young people and non-smokers.
4. If you suffer from heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, asthma, or other health problems, consult your doctor about the suitability of use.
5. Keep out of reach of persons under 18 years of age and pets.
6. Store in a dry place at room temperature, separate from food, drinks, and animal feed.

Possible adverse effects: headache, dry mouth/nose/throat, nausea, cough, dizziness. If you have doubts about the suitability of using the e-cigarette or if the above or other adverse effects persist, consult your doctor.

Dispose of the used product containing a battery pack ecologically by returning it to a collection point for electrical waste, a retailer, or by using the free Czech Post service "re:BALÍK" (more at www.remasystem.cz/re-balik).

Attention

The XROS is a sensitive electronic device. To ensure long-term satisfaction with the product and prevent damage, handle the device with care:

1. Do not expose the product to excessive shocks, drops, etc.
2. Protect the product from frost, high temperatures, and contact with liquids, including splashing water.
3. Do not manipulate the product beyond normal use, especially do not disassemble the product or interfere with its internal parts.

Recommendations

For reliable and trouble-free operation of the device, we recommend regular maintenance:

1. Keep the contacts of the cartridge (tank) and battery, where the two parts meet, dry and clean. If dirt accumulates, performance and vapor production may decrease, or the device may become completely non-functional.
2. Regularly refill the liquid (e-liquid) to avoid using the device "dry". This will prevent possible burning of the heating coil and damage to the entire cartridge.
3. The battery cell, which is an integral part of the e-cigarette, loses its capacity over time due to use. Charge it regularly to prevent it from completely discharging and becoming unusable.
4. The heating mesh, which is an integral part of the cartridge, naturally wears out with use. Over time, it will become clogged with e-liquid residue and lose its heating capabilities.

The lifespan of the mesh (and thus the entire cartridge) depends on many factors, such as the intensity and style of smoking, the liquid used, maintenance, etc., and is most often in the range of one to several weeks. If you notice a decrease in vapor production, loss of taste, or a burnt flavor, replace the cartridge with a new one.

Basic Use

Before first use, the cartridge needs to be filled with e-liquid.

1. To fill with liquid, remove the mouthpiece from the cartridge by pressing on its longitudinal side at the top.
2. Insert the filling bottle nozzle into the larger opening with the black rubber seal (3mm wide) on the side of the cartridge and fill with liquid. Do not fill completely, leave a small air pocket. Do not fill the central opening, which is solely for vapor passage.
3. Reattach the mouthpiece and wait at least 10 minutes for the cotton in the tank to absorb the liquid. This prevents it from burning.
4. Press the firing button 5 times quickly in succession. The LED indicator will flash all colors 3 times, and the device will be activated and ready for use.

For vaping, choose one of the two firing methods:

1. By button: Press and hold the firing button – the battery will start supplying power to the heating head, which will start heating and vaporizing the liquid. Keep the button pressed and inhale the resulting vapor (smoke) from the mouthpiece. Releasing the button will stop the heating and vaporization. You can then draw the remaining vapor from the mouthpiece, which will not condense back into liquid in the cartridge.
2. Automatically: Simply place the mouthpiece in your mouth and start drawing slowly and smoothly without pressing the button. This activates the heating process, vaporizing the liquid and producing vapor. Releasing the mouthpiece also stops vaporization.

Attention: Dry cotton, which acts as a wicking medium in the cartridge, can ignite when exposed to high temperatures. Ensure sufficient e-liquid supply (do not vape "dry") and replace it with a new one when its lifespan is over.

Cartridge Types in the Package

The package includes 2 cartridges, both with mesh heating elements instead of traditional coils.

1. 1.2ohm resistance (with black bottom seal) - included separately, designed for MTL vaping (mouth-to-lung).
2. 0.8ohm resistance (with red bottom seal) - installed on the battery, can be used for looser MTL vaping or direct-to-lung (DL) vaping.

Airflow Adjustment

The battery has a sliding panel with three holes that regulate the airflow to the heating element, thus controlling the tightness/looseness of the draw. Opening more holes will result in a looser draw and richer vapor.

For MTL vaping, it is advisable to close the airflow more. For DL vaping, open the airflow fully.

Charge Status Indicator

The battery has a charge indicator in the form of an LED light below the button, which lights up during and shortly after a puff.

Green indicates 70-100% charge, blue indicates 30-69%, red indicates less than 30%, and 3 red flashes mean the battery is depleted.

Charging and Passthrough Function

The battery has a USB-C port (1A/5V) for charging via the included USB-C cable. Charging is indicated by a flashing red LED, and a full charge is indicated by a solid green light.

The passthrough function allows you to use the e-cigarette while it is charging, so you do not need to stop vaping during this time.

The built-in battery's capacity will gradually decrease due to repeated charging and discharging, which is not a product defect. Over time, you will notice the need for more frequent charging compared to when you first started using the e-cigarette. After some time, the battery may stop heating altogether for this reason. Its lifespan depends on the frequency and intensity of use, as well as other factors.

Protection Functions

1. Button Lock: Prevents accidental firing due to the button being pressed, e.g., in a bag or pocket. To activate the e-cigarette, press the firing button 5 times quickly in succession (within approximately 2 seconds). The LED indicator will flash all colors 3 times. To lock, follow the same procedure.
2. Overheating Protection: If firing exceeds 8 seconds, the LED will flash red 3 times, and the battery will deactivate (stop firing). To fire again, you must stop firing and start anew. This protects the user from "over-vaping" as well as the battery and heating head.
3. Overcharge Protection: Once the battery is fully charged, it automatically stops the charging process, and the LED will remain solid green.
4. Open Circuit Protection: If the cartridge is not installed, the LED will flash red 5 times when attempting to fire.
5. Short Circuit Protection: If the cartridge tends to cause a short circuit, the LED will flash red 5 times when attempting to fire, and the battery will deactivate. Replace the cartridge with a new one.
6. Low Voltage Protection: When the battery voltage drops below a critical level, the LED will flash red 3 times, and the battery will deactivate. Charge the battery for further use.
