Chapter 1: Safety Instructions
Always follow these safety instructions when using the product:
1. Operation
- 1.1 Please use the product in the recommended operating environment, away from water or source of heat.
- 1.2 Do not place product in tilted position or unstable trolley, stand or table.
- 1.3 Please clean the dust on the power plug prior to usage. Do not insert the product's power plug into a multiplug to prevent sparks or a fire.
- 1.4 Do not block the slots and openings in the case of this product. They provide ventilation and prevent the product from overheating.
- 1.5 Do not open or remove covers, otherwise it may expose you to dangerous voltages and other hazards. Refer all servicing to licensed service personnel.
- 1.6 Unplug the product from the wall outlet and refer servicing to licensed service personnel when the following situations happen:
- If the power cords are damaged or frayed.
- If liquid is spilled into the product or the product has been exposed to rain or water.
2. Storage
- 2.1 Do not place the product where the cord can be stepped on as this may result in fraying or damage to the lead or the plug.
- 2.2 Unplug the product during thunderstorms or if it is not going to be used for an extended period.
- 2.3 Do not place the product or accessories on top of vibrating equipment or heated objects.
3. Cleaning
- 3.1 Disconnect all the cables prior to cleaning and wipe the surface with a dry cloth. Do not use alcohol or volatile solvents for cleaning.

Chapter 3: Product Overview
3.1 Front Panel
The front panel features several buttons and indicators for operation:
- 1. RECORD: Start/Stop recording. Press and hold for 3 seconds to pause recording.
- 2. SNAPSHOT: Capture a single photo.
- 3. STREAM: Turn On/Off image streaming.
- 4. Single Channel: Display a single channel screen.
- 5. PIP: Switch to Picture-in-Picture display.
- 6. PBP: Switch to Picture-by-Picture display.
- 7. Three Channel: Switch to three-channel display.
- 8. Customize: Customize layout display.
- 9. USB 3.0 Port: USB hard disk interface for storage.
- 10. Switch Channel: Switches between signal sources.
- 11. Channel 1~3: Quickly switch to CH1/CH2/CH3 signal sources.
3.2 Rear Panel

Chapter 4: Instruction for Installation
4.1 Product Connection Diagram
The LC200 connects to various devices for a complete video production setup. The diagram illustrates the following connections:
- Audio Input: Microphone and Amplifier connect to Line/MIC device Audio In.
- Video Output: HDMI output connects to Display (Program) and Display (MultiView).
- Network: Router connects to LAN.
- Power: Power Cord connects to Power Supply.
- Video Sources:
- HDMI Source Input connects to IP Camera, Document Camera, Box Camera, and Computer.
- Audio Output: Speaker connects to Audio Output.
- Control: USB Control connects to External Keyboard/Mouse. RS-232/RS-485 Control connects to Environment Control Equipment.
- The LC200 itself has inputs for HDMI (4 CH), Line In (4 CH), and outputs for Line Out and HDMI 2 Program, HDMI 1 MultiView. It also has USB 2.0, RS-232/RS-485, Ethernet, DC IN 12V, and Power ports.
Chapter 5: Function Description
5.1 Real-time Operation Menu
Connect the HDMI1 MultiView output to a display panel to show the real-time operation menu. Use a keyboard/mouse connected via USB to navigate the menu settings.
The main menu includes:
- 1. Parameter Setting: Perform system network settings, recording/streaming compress settings.
- 2. Casting Management: Input signal source selection, audio management, recording/streaming control, output version selection, and network video camera control.
- 3. File Management: Conduct video file content management, including upload, download, delete, and replay video files.
- 4. About: Display current firmware version and relevant production information of LC200.
- 5. Device IP: When connecting to the router, the current assigned device IP address will be displayed.
5.2 Parameter Setting
This section describes the web-based interface for controlling display items. The HDMI MultiView output provides access to [System Settings] and [Video Settings].
5.2.1 System Settings
Configure the device's basic information, date and time, and other settings.
5.2.1.1 System Settings
- 1. Device Identification: Set Hostname (e.g., LC200) and Device Description (e.g., LC200_01C8E3).
- 2. Live: Displays the real-time PGM screen.
- 3. Date and Time: Set the device's current date and time, time zone, and synchronization mode (Manually Set or Sync to PC via NTP service).
- 4. Front Panel Lock: Enable or disable the front panel lock. This lock persists even after reboot.
- 5. Frame Rate Mode: Configure the output frame rate (30/60 fps). Supports up to 2 network image inputs and recording in Movie Mode. Streaming video compression format matches recording.
- 6. Welcome Screen: Customize a welcome image. Upload a PNG file (max 3 MB, 1920x1080 resolution) and click Apply.
- 7. Intermission Screen: Customize an intermission image. Upload a PNG file (max 3 MB, 1920x1080 resolution) and click Apply.

5.2.1.2 Network
The factory reset defaults to DHCP for IP assignment. To configure a static IP address:
- Ethernet Setting: Enter IP Assignment (DHCP/Static IP), IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, Primary DNS Server, and Secondary DNS Server. Click Apply. The system will reboot after changing network settings.
5.2.1.3 Services
- 1. Main Firmware: Update the main firmware.
- 2. Secondary Firmware: Update the secondary firmware.
- 3. Service History: Save system log files to a computer by entering a file name and clicking Export.
- 4. Reset: Reset LC200 to factory default. The option to "Except the network settings" is available.
- 5. Restart Device: Restart the LC200.
5.2.1.4 Setting File
Export and import device configuration files.
- Export: Export the current configuration as a file. Options include All Configuration, Display, Record, Stream, Storage, and Backup, Scenes, Layout.
- Import: Import configuration files from another LC200.
5.2.1.5 Display Settings
- Output Resolution: Select HDMI output resolution (e.g., 1920x1080, 60Hz).
5.2.1.6 Remote Control Panel
Information about the connection status of the optional LC-RC01 extension control panel is displayed.
5.2.2 Account Management
Manage accounts for three user modes: System Management, Online Director, and Video Manager.
- Administrator: Default username 'admin', password can be set.
- Online Director: Default username 'director', password can be set.
- Video Manager: Default username 'video', password can be set.

Caution: User name length: 4-16 characters. Password length: 8-16 characters. Specific symbols and spaces are forbidden for both. Duplicate usernames are forbidden.
5.2.3 Video Source
5.2.3.1 Network Device Management
Manage network cameras and streaming sources.
- Network Cameras: Click [Refresh] to scan network cameras on the LAN. Click [Login Verification] to connect. Status displays "OK" when connected.
- Network Streaming: Click [Add] to enter the network streaming name and URL, then click [Apply]. The added stream will appear in the list.
5.2.3.2 Video communication source management
Display video communication source information to edit source names and order.
5.2.4 Video Settings
5.2.4.1 Record Settings
Configure recording parameters. Recording time supports up to 12 hours.
- Encoder Settings:
- Recording Mode: MP4 Mixed Video / Original Source.
- Video Compression: Full HD.
- Preferentially Record to Front USB Flash Drive: Enabled/Disabled.
- Loop Recording: Enabled/Disabled.
- Audio Settings: Adjust Audio Delay (0-600 ms). Select audio source for recording channels (PGM Audio, Channel 1-4). Note: Non-PGM audio may increase CPU load.
- Recording File Name Setting: Customize the prefix name of video files.

5.2.4.2 Streaming Settings
Configure streaming parameters according to server system support.
- Encoder Settings: Select encoding profiles for resolution and bitrate.
- Streaming Settings: Customize up to 3 network streaming addresses (RTMP, RTMPS, RTP, YouTube, Facebook Live, Twitch, Smashcast). Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP) can also be configured.
5.2.5 Scene Management
LC200 offers 5 overlay styles, 5 background images, and 5 scenes. Custom styles can be added.
- Overlay: Select and upload PNG overlay files (supported sizes: 1920x136, 1080x240, 800x320, 640x400).
- Background Image: Select and upload PNG background images (supported size: 1920x1080).
- Scene: Integrate overlay, background image, and recording layout to create custom scenes (up to 30 scenes).
5.2.5.2 Macro
When used with the LC-RC01 extension control panel, Macro can set scenes and camera preset positions.
- Scene Selection: Select a scene (up to 30 sets).
- Camera Preset Position Setting: Set/Cancel camera presets (up to 9 sets). Checking the box presets network camera settings on Channels 1-4.
5.2.5.3 Time Stamp
Configure time stamp display settings.
- Enable Time Stamp: Turn On/Off. Note: When enabled, other overlays cannot be applied.
- Format: Set time display format (e.g., YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ss).
- Color: Set font color.
- Size: Set font size.
- X / Y Position (0-100): Set display position on the PGM screen (0=leftmost/top, 100=rightmost/bottom).
5.2.6 Storage Settings
Configure recording storage, cycle recording, and NAS settings.
- Record Disk Settings: Select local storage (e.g., Internal SATA HDD).
- Hard Drive Information: Display disk info, free space, and capacity. Option to format the drive. Supported formats: exFAT/FAT32/NTFS.
- NAS settings: Enable NAS mounting and related settings. Requires configuration in Backup Setting > Upload Setting > Mode.
5.2.7 CMS Settings
Configure connection to Content Management Systems (CMS).
- CMS Settings: Select Server Type (Kaltura, Panopto, Opencast), enter login information, and perform a [Connection Test]. Contact Lumens technical support for detailed configuration.
5.2.8 Schedule Setting
Set up scheduled recording and standby/wake-up functions.
- Schedule Setting: Enable/disable schedule function. Check current schedule status. Import iCalendar files (.ics format) or synchronize periodically from network servers (e.g., Google Calendar).
- Cancel Recording: Click [Stop] to stop the current scheduled recording.
- Stand by and Wake up: Enable/disable scheduled standby and wake-up functions and set times.
5.2.9 Backup Setting
Configure automatic backup of videos to a designated location.
- Backup Setting: Set Backup Type (after recording, schedule daily backup) and Mode (FTP, NAS, SFTP, USB storage, WebDAV). Perform a [Connection Test].

5.3 Director
The LC200 includes a built-in Director feature for monitoring recording and previewing output video from a streaming director. Three login methods are available:
- Select online Director from the HDMI1 MultiView real-time operation menu.
- When logging into the web page, select the online Director icon at the upper right corner on the configuration setting page.
- When logging into the web page, use the online Director authority account (Default: Account: director, Password: director).

5.4 File Management
The LC200 provides file management features for uploading, downloading, deleting, replaying video files, and editing recording information.
File Management Interface:
- 1. Preview Screen: Click desired video files to play and control on the Preview screen.
- 2. Program Screen: Display the Director screen or synchronize with the Preview screen.
- 3. Screen Switch Button: Switch the Program screen to the LIVE Director screen or the Preview screen.
- 4. Discovery: Search recording video files by selecting a date period on the calendar.
- 5. Display Mode Switch: Switch between thumbnail mode or list mode for video view.
- 6. Folder Display: Display the recording video folders.
- 7. Video File Display: Display the files within the selected video folder.
- 8. File Management: Delete, backup, or copy recording video to an external USB flash drive.
File Management Description:
- Uploading: Check thumbnails, click [⬆️] to upload to the location set in Upload Settings. Refer to [System Management/Upload Settings] for details. Upload Status Icons: [⬆️] Videos are uploaded successfully, [⏳] Videos are queued for upload, [❌] Fail to upload videos, [?] Videos are uploading.
- Download: Check thumbnails, click [⬇️] to download as MP4 video files and datasets. Video thumbnails can be clicked to access the video playback page for downloading video files only.
- Delete: Check thumbnails, click [?️] to delete video files permanently.
Video Playback: Right-click a video to preview, edit content, and download the video file and dataset.

Photo Management: Manage photo files captured by SNAPSHOT. Folders are named by shooting date. Upload, download, and delete photos similarly to video management.
Chapter 6: Troubleshooting
This chapter describes problems you may encounter while using LC200. If you have questions, please refer to related chapters and follow all suggested solutions. If the problem still occurs, please contact your distributor or the service center.

4. | LC200 cannot perform camera control after connecting to a camera | Please make sure the dial setting of Camera Address Selector is 0. LC200 cannot identify the camera correctly if it is not 0. |
