Section 1: Assembly and Setup

Follow these steps to assemble your BISSELL SpotClean machine.

Step 1: Connect Hose/Wand

Attach the hose and wand assembly to the main unit. (Diagram shows the hose connector being inserted into a port on the machine).

Step 2: Attach Base Component

Connect a component to the base of the machine. (Diagram shows a part clicking into place on the lower section of the unit).

Step 3: Attach Second Base Component

Step 4: Lock Base Component

Rotate a locking mechanism on the base of the machine to secure the attached component. (Diagram shows a dial being turned clockwise).

Step 5: Secure Base Component

Rotate another locking mechanism on the base of the machine to further secure the component. (Diagram shows a lever being turned clockwise).

Section 2: Filling the Tanks

Prepare your machine by filling the clean water and solution tank.

Step 1: Remove Clean Water Tank

Lift the clean water tank from the machine. (Diagram shows lifting the tank upwards).

Step 2: Open Tank Cap

Remove the cap from the clean water tank. (Diagram shows unscrewing or lifting a cap).

Step 3: Add Cleaning Solution

Fill the tank with clean water and the recommended BISSELL cleaning formula.

  • For general cleaning: Add 30mL of BISSELL Wash & Protect Pet, Spot & Stain Pro Oxy formula to the clean water tank. (Diagram shows liquid being poured from a bottle marked '30mL').
  • For tougher stains: Add 60mL of BISSELL Wash & Protect Pet, Spot & Stain Pro Oxy formula to the clean water tank. (Diagram shows liquid being poured from a bottle marked '60mL').

Step 4: Secure Tank Cap

Replace the cap securely onto the clean water tank. (Diagram shows placing the cap back on).

Step 5: Reinsert Clean Water Tank

Reinsert the filled clean water tank back into the machine. (Diagram shows sliding the tank back into its housing).

Follow these steps to operate your BISSELL SpotClean.

Power Button:

Step 1: Prepare Cleaning Formula

Ensure the correct cleaning formula is ready. (Diagram shows cleaning solution options labeled 'W').

Step 2: Connect Hose and Tool

Attach the cleaning hose and tool to the machine's designated port. (Diagram shows connecting the hose assembly).

Step 3: Adjust Machine Dial

Step 4: Plug In Power Cord

Re-engage the latch to secure the lid onto the tank. (Diagram shows clipping the lid shut).

Step 9: Reinsert Dirty Water Tank

Reinsert the now empty and clean dirty water tank into the machine. (Diagram shows sliding the tank back into its housing).

Step 10: Ensure Tank is Seated

Ensure the tank is properly seated and secured within the machine. (Diagram shows pushing the tank firmly into place).
