- Protect the socket and plug against moisture. Use a drip loop to ensure water cannot reach the socket and plug connection of the receiver via the cord (see Fig. A).
- The receiver must be installed in a dry place, at least 2 meters away from the pond.
- Do not use the product if the device, cord, or plug is damaged. Return the device to your dealer for repair or recycling. A damaged cord or plug cannot be replaced.

Function
The PondECO Plus RC is an electronic pond pump for use with filters, skimmers, waterfalls, and water ornaments. The pump is equipped with a remote control and receiver that regulate the pump capacity and head.
- Run Dry Protection: The pump is equipped with a dry-running safety device. If there is no water flow for 10 seconds, the pump will automatically stop and restart after 10 seconds. This cycle repeats 5 times, after which the pump stops completely. Restart the pump by unplugging it for 60 seconds and plugging it back in after water supply is restored.
- Thermal Overload Protection: The pump has thermal overload protection. If the motor overheats, the pump switches off automatically. After a cooling down time of 15 to 20 minutes, it will restart. Investigate the cause of overheating to prevent damage; damage from overheating is not covered by the warranty.
Installation
Pond Installation
Fig. B: The PondECO RC pump is suitable for pond hoses with diameters of 25, 32, and 40 mm. Cut the multi-step hose connector to the desired diameter and attach it to the pump. Connect the pond hose using a hose clamp (not included).
Fig. C: Preferably install the pump in the deepest part of the pond (max. 2-meter depth), or at least 20 cm below the water surface. Ensure the pump stands horizontally and firmly on a flat surface so it cannot fall over.
Inline Installation
Fig. D: For inline use, remove the pump from its housing.
Fig. E: Open the housing by pressing the latches at the front and back to release the upper shell.
Fig. F: Remove the bracket over the pump by unscrewing the 2 screws and take out the pump. The inlet is at the front (suitable hose connector Art. 07070487 not supplied), and the outlet is at the top (for the supplied hose connector Art. 07070487).
Fig. B: Cut hose connectors to the desired diameter and attach them to the pump. Connect pond hoses using hose clamps (not included). Install the pump horizontally and firmly on a flat surface outside the pond, securing with screws if necessary to prevent tipping.
General Installation
Fig. A: Connect the pump plug to the receiver, ensuring connections are protected from moisture. Install the receiver in a dry place, at least 2 meters from the pond.
NOTICE! The receiver must not get wet. Place it in the SuperFish DriBox (Art. 06070035) to prevent water damage. Plug the receiver into the socket and ensure a drip loop in the cord. Make sure no one can trip over the cord and that the cord cannot be damaged.
Usage of the Remote Control
The PondECO RC pump comes with a remote control for easy on/off switching. You can adjust pump capacity and head in steps to save energy.
- At lower settings, the pump consumes less energy but has reduced performance, pumping less water. This may cause the pump to stop, especially with high head, long hoses, or many bends. Increase pump capacity by one or two steps in such cases.
- This remote control is dedicated to SuperFish PondECO Plus RC 10000 and E 10000 pumps. Using it with other pump types may result in incorrect operation. Keep the remote control dry.

Maintenance
- The pump should be cleaned regularly (minimum twice a year) for trouble-free operation. Scale deposits can cause the pump to seize. No warranty is provided for failures due to dirty pumps or scale buildup caused by improper maintenance.
- Always disconnect the power supply before performing any maintenance!
- Disconnect the pump from the pond hose and rinse the housing under a tap or garden hose.
- For proper cleaning and descaling, use SuperFish Pump & UVC Clean (Art. 07070500), available from your dealer. Mix in a bucket with clean tap water as per instructions, immerse the pump for 24 hours, then drain and disassemble.
- Clean all parts and housing thoroughly. Rinse with clean tap water and reassemble.
- Rotor and rotor housing may wear out with use; this is normal. Replacement parts are available from your dealer.
- NOTICE! During frost periods, remove the pump from the pond, clean, dry, and store it frost-free.
Recycling
This symbol indicates that this product should not be disposed of with normal household waste. It must be handed in at an official collection center or returned to the dealer when purchasing a similar new product. Follow local regulations for separate collection of electrical and electronic products. Separate collection and recycling benefit the environment, public health, and reduce waste.
Warranty
A 2-year manufacturer's warranty covers material and construction defects. Devices must be returned complete with all components and proof of purchase. Incomplete devices or those without proof of purchase are not eligible. The warranty covers repair or replacement, with the remaining warranty period applying.
Damage due to incorrect use, contamination, lack of cleaning, wear, or cord damage is not covered. Always keep your proof of purchase; the warranty is void without it.
Pick-up & Replace Warranty
This pump includes a unique 2-year, 48-hour Pick-up and Replace service. In case of a defect, the pump is collected within 48 hours (Mon-Fri) and replaced free of charge, provided the device has been used and maintained correctly (regularly descaled/cleaned, cord/rotor undamaged).
To qualify, register the pump within 1 month of purchase by returning the completed registration form and a copy of the purchase receipt to Aquadistri. Failure to register voids the 48-hour service. Contact your dealer for warranty claims.
The Pick-Up & Replace Warranty is applicable in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, France, and the United Kingdom. For other countries, the standard warranty applies via your dealer.
