Safety Instructions
Conditions for Connecting the Device
- The connection of the heater to the electrical network and the measurement of the effectiveness of protection against electric shock must be carried out by a licensed electrician.
- The heater must be earthed.
- The device must be permanently connected to the electrical network with an earth connection.
- The electrical installation must be equipped with residual current devices and means for disconnecting the device from the power source, in which the contact gap of all poles is at least 3mm.
- The device must not be installed in areas with explosion risk, nor in areas where the ambient temperature may fall below 0°C.
- The use of thermostatic batteries is not recommended.
- The device can only be connected to a cold water supply pipe.
- The inlet of this device cannot be connected to a water source from another heating system.
- Take care that the activated heater does not empty of water, which can happen when there is no water in the water supply network.
- Do not open the heater housing when the electrical supply is connected.
- If the non-detachable power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, an authorized repair shop, or a qualified person to avoid danger.
Work related to the device
- The water heater can only be used when it is correctly installed and in perfect technical condition.
- Before the first start-up and after every emptying of the water heater from water (e.g., due to water supply system maintenance), air must be released according to the point "Air Release".
- Storing the water heater in a place with a temperature below 0°C risks destroying it (there may be water inside which, during freezing, can lead to the explosion of the device's elements).
- The absence of a screen filter in the water supply risks damaging the water heater.
- Scale deposits on the water heater elements can restrict water flow or lead to damage to the water heater. Damage to the water heater for this reason is not covered by the warranty. The water heater and sanitary installations must be periodically descaled, with the frequency of descaling depending on the water hardness.
- The resistance of the water supply network must not be less than 1100 Ωcm.
- A detailed description for wall installation, device placement, and its fastening and connection to the supply is provided in the Installation chapter.
- In case of damage to the built-in power cord (EPO2-3), for safety, it must be replaced immediately. Such replacement must be carried out by the manufacturer, authorized service, or a qualified person. It is important to use the original cable to maintain safety standards and device functionality.
- A water heater model without a built-in power cord must be entrusted to a qualified person who will properly prepare the electrical installation.
Device Operation
Danger: It should be noted that water at temperatures above 40°C causes a burning sensation (especially for children), while temperatures above 50°C can cause first-degree burns (especially for children).
Danger: Every time there is a lack of water in the installation supplying the heater, the device must be disconnected from the electrical supply and vented. Operating the heater when there is no water in the water network can cause damage to the device!
Danger: Do not open the heater housing when the electrical supply is active.
Danger: Poor electrical wiring work can lead to fatal risks. Only qualified installers can service this product.
Device Description
The EPO2 water heater is suitable for the instantaneous heating of circulating water for domestic use, in sanitary installations, laboratories, workshops, etc. The heater is suitable for use with most commercially available taps. It is a pressurized device - installed in any position (with the spouts facing up or down). The hot water temperature depends on the water flow and the power of the heating elements. The higher the water flow, the lower the outlet water temperature. Opening the hot water tap automatically activates the heater and supplies heated water according to the technical data.
Intended Use
The device is intended exclusively for domestic or similar use. Commercial or industrial use that causes excessive exploitation of the device is contrary to the intended purpose.
Improper use of the device or unprofessional handling is prohibited and leads to disclaimer of liability by the manufacturer. Improper use also includes changing the intended function of the heating system components.
Note: The device is intended exclusively for domestic or similar use, meaning that even untrained persons can operate it safely.
Product Information
Hydraulic Check
- The hot water temperature depends on the water flow and the power of the heating elements.
- Can be installed in any position (with spouts facing up or down).

Installation
Dimensions: Height: 225mm, Width: 170mm, Depth: 143.5mm. Connections: 37mm, 19mm.
- Bring the electrical and hydraulic installation to the heater installation site, in accordance with current regulations.
- Remove the housing from the heater: unscrew the screw, slide the housing off the spout side.
- Install the heater in a vertical position with the spouts facing up or down, as shown in the diagram.
- Connect (e.g., with reinforced flexible hoses) the cold water inlet to the inlet spout via a filter with a shut-off valve and the hot water outlet to the outlet spout.
- Turn on the cold water and check the water connections.
- Vent the installation in accordance with the ventilation section.
- Connect the heater to the electrical installation according to the indications, protect the cable from coming out with a counterweight.
- Install the heater housing.
- Ensure that there is no access to live elements through the holes in the back of the device.

Hydraulic Diagrams
Diagrams illustrating the hydraulic connections for the water heater.
Venting
- Turn off the heater's electrical supply.
- Turn on the water flow (open the hot water valve) to vent the installation (approx. 15-30 seconds) until water flows evenly.
- Close the valve.
- Turn on the electrical supply.
Caution: Perform these procedures every time water is lost.
Start-up and Operation
The heater is equipped with a hydraulic unit which, when regulated by the corresponding water flow from the tap into the heater, automatically starts heating the water.
Maintenance
- Disconnect the electrical supply and close the cold water supply.
- Loosen the hydraulic installation connection from the inlet spout.
- Remove the filter from the cold water supply.
- Remove impurities from the filter and place it back in its original position.
- Connect the cold water supply to the inlet spout.
- Open the valve in the cold water supply - check the tightness of the connections.
- Vent the hydraulic installation and the heater.
Danger: Do not open the front of the water heater when the electrical supply is connected. Risk of electric shock.
