General Information
Thank you for purchasing the NUX Mighty 8BT MKII, an 8-Watt portable amplifier. This new generation amplifier features a 6.5-inch FRFR speaker with IR technology, offering versatile tonal possibilities. Powered by 8 AA batteries, it provides up to 8 hours of playtime, making it ideal for playing anywhere. The Mighty 8BT MKII includes numerous effects for electric guitar and bass guitar, including amp modeling and IR cabinets. It also offers acoustic amp modeling and acoustic IRs for simulating acoustic guitar tones. Additionally, it has a dedicated channel for a dynamic microphone, making it suitable for live performances.
You can edit and save presets using the MightyAmp™ app for smartphones (iOS/Android) or the Mighty Editor™ software (Mac/PC). The Mighty Editor™ software also allows you to load third-party IRs to expand your tone possibilities. (WAV format IR files are automatically converted to 32-bit/48kHz on the device.)

Preset Information: The amplifier comes with 36 IR slots and 18 user IR slots (37-54). The MightyAmp™ APP and Mighty Editor™ software allow customization of all blocks and signal parameters, including GATE, EFX, AMP, IR, MOD, DLY, and RVB.
USB-C Audio Interface: The Mighty 8BT MKII supports USB-C audio streaming, functioning as a USB recording interface. It supports Normal, Dry Out, Re-amp, and Loopback routing, configurable via the MightyAmp™ APP or Mighty Editor™. Loopback includes PC playback, Bluetooth audio, and AUX IN signals. Use a USB OTG adapter to connect to your mobile phone for direct streaming.
Note for PC Users: Download the NUX ASIO driver from the NUX website before using the Mighty 8BT MKII as a recording interface.
Note for Mac Users: It's plug-and-play.
Note for iOS Users: Use the original APPLE® Lightning to USB OTG adapter.

Control Panel
Bluetooth Indicator: Indicates the status of the Bluetooth connection. Solid blue means connected; flashing blue means searching.
PRESET switch/indicator: Cycles through presets 1-7. The indicator color corresponds to the selected preset.
1/4" (6.35mm) INSTRUMENT jack: Connect your guitar, bass, or other instrument here.
GAIN knob: Adjusts the input signal gain.
LEVEL knob: Controls the overall amplifier volume.
TONE knob: Adjusts the amplifier's presence/brightness/tone characteristics.
Bluetooth Connection:
- Launch the MightyAmp™ app on your mobile device.
- Tap 'Settings' and select 'Current Amp' as 'MIGHTY 8BT MKII'.
- Tap to scan for devices; the app will find 'MIGHTY 8BT MKII'. Select it to connect.
- Note for Android Users: Location permission may be required for Bluetooth scanning. NUX does not track your location.
- Note: Bluetooth Audio and Bluetooth MIDI are separate connections and must be paired individually.
Disconnecting: Press and hold the PRESET button/indicator to disconnect.
Instrument Jack Controls:
- GAIN knob: Input gain control.
- LEVEL knob: Master volume control.
- TONE knob: Controls presence/bright/tone parameters.
- PRESET switch/indicator: Cycles through presets. You can assign which presets are active via the MightyAmp™ app or Mighty Editor™ software.
Rear Panel
1/4" LINE OUT jack: Provides a balanced TRS output signal for connection to PA systems or mixers.
AUX IN jack: Connect an MP3 player for jamming along.
PHONES out jack: Connect headphones for silent practice. The internal speaker will automatically mute.
DC 12V jack: Connect the included power adapter.
POWER switch: Turns the amplifier on/off.
BATTERY cover: Allows access for 8 AA batteries.
USB port: Used for Mighty Editor™ software, USB audio streaming, and firmware updates. It cannot be used for powering the amplifier.
Recording:
- WIN Users: Download the ASIO driver from the product page.
- MAC Users: Supports CORE AUDIO, no driver needed.
Firmware Update:
- Connect to a computer via USB.
- Press and hold the DRUM S-TAP switch, then turn on the POWER switch to enter DFU mode.
- Use the DFU update program to update the firmware. (Firmware update guide available on the product page.)

Battery Replacement
The amplifier can be powered by 8 AA batteries for portable use (approx. 8 hours with alkaline batteries). Follow the diagrams to open the battery compartment and ensure correct polarity when inserting batteries. Batteries are not included.

Warranty Information
The warranty period is 12 months from the date of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, or unauthorized repairs. Please refer to the warranty card for full details. Consumable parts like tubes, cables, and speakers are not covered by the warranty.
