Warranty Information
Thank you for choosing a Redragon product. Please read the following warranty rules carefully to protect your rights and for better customer service.
- Repair is guaranteed for failure due to electrical circuit problems within 18 months of the purchase date.
- Damages such as disassembly, hard impacts, submersion into water, plugging into improper current or voltage, and damage caused by natural disasters are not covered.
- Consumable parts (e.g., foot pads) and spare parts replacement are not included in the warranty.
Connecting the Keyboard to a Computer
Wired Connection
- Slide the 2.4G/OFF/BT switch to OFF.
- Connect the keyboard to your computer using the provided USB A to USB Type C cable. The 'M' LED will twinkle red and turn white when fully charged.
2.4G Wireless Connection
- Slide the 2.4G/OFF/BT switch to 2.4G.
- The 'M' LED will flash green. Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer within 20 seconds.
- For reconnection, press and hold FN + 2.4G for 4 seconds until the 'M' LED flashes quickly in green.
- The computer will automatically recognize and configure the keyboard. The 'M' LED will turn green upon successful connection.
Bluetooth Connection
- Slide the 2.4G/OFF/BT switch to BT.
- Press FN + 1/2/3 (for BT1/BT2/BT3 respectively). The 'M' LED will flash blue/cyan/magenta.
- Turn on Bluetooth on your computer or smartphone and scan for available devices. Select "BT3.0 Keyboard" or "BT5.0 KB" to connect.
- The indicator will flash red when the battery is low. Recharge the keyboard by plugging the Type C cable into a computer. The 'M' LED will be red while charging and turn cyan/magenta when charging is complete (in Bluetooth mode).
Recharging the Keyboard
The 'M' LED indicator will turn red and flash slowly when the keyboard battery is low in 2.4G/BT modes. Use the provided USB A to USB Type C cable to connect the keyboard to a charging device (5V-2A or 5V-1A). It is recommended to use a computer's USB port for charging to prevent damage.
Checking Keyboard Battery Status
Press and hold FN + END. All keys will light off. Check the Number keys and 1/2/3 keys:
- RED indicates low power (less than 30%).
- GREEN indicates power from 40%-100%.
Keyboard Sleep Mode and Power Saving
In 2.4Ghz and Bluetooth modes, the keyboard enters sleep mode after 3 minutes of inactivity to save power, turning off all LEDs and backlights. Press any key (except the scroll button) to wake it up.
Switch the keyboard to OFF when traveling to conserve power.
Software Inquiries
The keyboard can be used on Windows or macOS without installing any software or drivers for standard USB and 2.4G/BT connections.
The K585-RGB-PRO driver is available for wired connection mode for gaming configuration.
Keyboard Backlight Customization
To customize the backlight:
- Press FN + C to enter setting mode. The W/A/S/D/ESC/arrow keys will turn red.
- Press FN + C again. The CAPS LED will twinkle, indicating it's ready for setting.
- Press and hold a desired key to set its color.
- Press FN + C to save the settings.
- Press FN + Z to exit customized setting mode.
Backlight Control Commands:
- FN + Z: Switch between 14 backlight patterns.
- FN + X: Switch backlight color.
- FN + ESC: Reset to factory settings.
Macro Recording Function
The keyboard features 4 profile keys (M1 to M4) and 5 macro keys (G1 to G5) per profile, allowing for a total of 20 macro recording groups.
- Press M1-M4 to select a profile group (the key light will turn on).
- Press REC, then press a G key (G1-G5). The G key light will turn on.
- Record the desired key sequence.
- Press REC again to complete the recording. (Example: REC → G1 → ABC → REC)
Playing Macros:
- Select a profile group by pressing M1-M4.
- Press the desired Macro key (G1-G5). (Example: M1 → G1(ABC))
Deleting Macros:
- Select a profile group by pressing M1-M4 (the key light will turn on).
- Press REC.
- Double-press the G keys (G1-G5) to delete the macro (the key light will turn off).
- Press REC to save and exit.
FAQ
- Keyboard not responding: Ensure the keyboard's USB cable is correctly inserted into the computer's USB port, or try a different USB port.
- Liquid spill: Immediately unplug the keyboard's USB cable. Wipe off excess liquid and place the keyboard in a dry, ventilated area. Allow it to dry naturally before the next use.
Battery Safety Guidelines
- Do not replace the battery with a different model.
- Do not use the product if the battery shows signs of damage (tearing, deformation, leakage, or smell of electrolytic material).
- Avoid contact with leaking battery material and seek medical attention if contact occurs with skin or eyes.
- Do not expose the battery to liquid, heat, electricity (outside the product), or non-standard operating conditions.
- Do not remove the battery except for proper disposal and recycling according to local laws.
- Do not impact, bend, alter, disassemble, or damage the battery, as its contents are volatile and hazardous.
