Product Diagram Description
The diagram illustrates the internal components of the coin sorter in an exploded view. Key parts include the Base, Coin Tube Housing, individual Coin Tubes, the main Body, the Coin Path where coins travel, the Frame Cover, Battery Casing, Slide Frame, and the Top Cover. The front features the LCD Coin Slot for coin insertion and value display, and a Reset Button. Features
- The inductor inside the coin slot mechanism automatically and accurately identifies coin values.
- The LCD displays individual coin values first, then adds up the total stored amount.
- Coins are sorted to the different coin tubes by their diameter.
- After batteries are removed, the LCD screen still displays for at least 8 seconds.
- Identifies British coins: 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p, 20p, 50p, £1, £2.
- Press the reset button to reset the total amount to zero.
Instructions for Use
To Install or Replace Batteries
- Remove the top cover from the Coin Sorter and Counter.
- Remove the screw in the battery cover.
- Insert 2x AAA batteries into the battery compartment, observing polarity as indicated (+/-).
- Secure the battery cover with the screw.
To Operate
- Insert coins into the coin slot; the inserted coins will descend into the correct tube automatically.
To Empty the Coin Sorter
- Adjust the top cover of the coin sorter to match the coins.
- Remove the coins from the coin tubes.
Important Notes
- The coin tubes and their housing are marked with numbers 1 to 8. Ensure coin tubes are inserted into their corresponding housings.
- A black arrow sticker near the battery compartment indicates the locating notch on the body. Align these for the unit to click into place. If misaligned, coins may not sort correctly.
- Do not overfill the coin tubes.
The two AAA batteries required to operate the coin sorter are not included.
Safety and Disposal
Batteries
- Keep batteries away from children and pets.
- Do not mix used and new batteries.
- Install batteries in accordance with polarity symbols (+/-).
- Remove batteries if left unused for long periods.
- Never dispose of batteries in a fire.
- Dispose of spent or expired batteries properly and recycle them in compliance with local regulations. Contact your local authority for detailed information.
- Follow the battery manufacturer's safety, usage, and disposal instructions.
Disposal
- Dispose of all packaging, paper, cartons, plastic, and plastic bags in accordance with local recycling regulations.
- At the end of the product's lifespan, dispose of it at an authorized household WEEE waste recycling centre.
