Introduction

The motherboard serves as the command center for the vacuum's functions. Over time, components on the board may loosen or fail, requiring replacement. This guide provides the necessary steps for this procedure.

Tools Required:

Step 1 — Head Shell

Detach the hose connected to the bottom of the vacuum by pulling it out of its casing.

Step 2

Lay the vacuum on its side.

Press the black rubber button located on the back of the vacuum to detach the vacuum head from the main body.

Step 4

Remove the small front wheels. Insert a metal spudger in front of each wheel and gently pry upwards. This action will release the wheel and expose the screw underneath.

Repeat this process for the other front wheel.

Step 18

Heat the wire connection's solder joint until the joint appears molten.

While maintaining contact with the soldering iron, use tweezers to gently pull the wire away from the board, freeing the connection.

✔️ For detailed instructions on proper soldering techniques, refer to the guide: How To Solder and Desolder Connections.

? Remember the original position of each soldered cable to ensure correct re-attachment during reassembly.

⚠️ The soldering iron is extremely hot and requires careful handling. Always wear eye protection when soldering.
