Product Overview

Read this manual carefully before use, and retain it for future reference.

Wearing

To ensure a proper fit and optimal sound quality, select the ear tip size that best fits your ear canal. Gently insert the earbud into your ear and rotate it slightly until it feels secure and comfortable.

Charging

Place the earbuds into the charging case. Connect the charging case to a power source using the provided USB Type-C cable. The indicator light on the case will show the charging status.

Turning On

The earbuds will automatically turn on when removed from the charging case. To turn them off, place them back into the charging case.

Sleep Mode

The earbuds will enter sleep mode automatically after a period of inactivity or when placed in the charging case to conserve battery power.

Connecting

Open the charging case lid. The earbuds will enter pairing mode. On your device, enable Bluetooth and select "Redmi Buds 5 Pro" from the list of available devices to connect.

Dual-Device Connection

Dual-device connection is off by default. To enable this feature, open the Xiaomi Earbuds App, navigate to settings, and turn on the dual-device connection option. This allows the earbuds to connect to two devices simultaneously.

Force Pairing

To manually initiate pairing mode, place both earbuds in the charging case, keep the lid open, and press and hold the function button on the charging case for a few seconds until the indicator light flashes.

Use with Single Earbud

You can use either the left or right earbud independently. Simply take one earbud out of the charging case, and it will automatically connect to your device.

Restoring Factory Settings

To reset the earbuds to factory settings, place both earbuds in the charging case, keep the lid open, and press and hold the function button for approximately 10 seconds until the indicator light flashes three times. This will clear all previous pairings and settings.

Function Overview

The earbuds support various touch controls for music playback, call management, and noise cancellation. Refer to the diagram for specific touch gestures (e.g., double-tap, triple-tap, long press).

Connecting with App

1. Scan the provided QR code to download and install the Xiaomi Earbuds app.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions within the app to connect your Redmi Buds 5 Pro. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone and the earbuds are near the device.

The Xiaomi Earbuds app is compatible with Android 6.0+ and iOS 14.0+ devices. Ensure the app is updated to the latest version for full functionality.

Maintenance

• Clean ear tips regularly with a cotton swab dipped in lukewarm water and dry thoroughly. Perform after each use or hour of listening for optimal sound quality.
• Store earbuds in the charging case at room temperature in a humidity-free environment when not in use.
• Fully charge the earbuds at least once every 6 months to maintain battery health.
