Product Overview

The Redmi Buds 5 Pro are wireless earphones designed for an enhanced audio experience.

Wearing the Earbuds

To ensure a proper fit and optimal sound quality, insert the earbuds into your ears as shown in the diagram. The earbuds are marked with 'L' for the left ear and 'R' for the right ear.

Powering On/Off

The earbuds automatically turn on when removed from the charging case and turn off when placed back in the case.

Sleep Mode

The earbuds enter sleep mode when not in use to conserve battery.

Connecting to Two Devices

Dual device connection is disabled by default. To enable this feature, activate it within the Xiaomi Earbuds app.

Steps:

1. Open the charging case lid.
2. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
3. Select 'Redmi Buds 5 Pro' from the list of available devices in your phone's Bluetooth settings.
4. For dual connection, open the charging case lid and press and hold the function button for 2 seconds until the indicator light flashes. Then, connect to the second device via Bluetooth.

Forced Pairing

To initiate forced pairing, place both earbuds in the charging case, open the lid, and press and hold the function button for 2 seconds until the indicator light flashes.

Using a Single Earbud

You can use either the left or right earbud independently. Simply take one earbud out of the charging case to use it.

Factory Reset

To restore the earbuds to factory settings, place both earbuds in the charging case, open the lid, and press and hold the function button for 3 seconds until the indicator light flashes.

Feature Overview

The Redmi Buds 5 Pro offer various features controlled via touch gestures:

• Calls: Double-tap the touch area to answer/end calls. Triple-tap to reject calls.
• Music Playback: Double-tap to play/pause music. Triple-tap to skip to the next track.
• Noise Cancellation/Transparency Mode: Press and hold the touch area for 2 seconds to cycle through noise cancellation, transparency mode, and normal mode.

Connecting to the App

1. Scan the QR code to download and install the Xiaomi Earbuds app for additional features.
2. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your earbuds.

Note: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone during connection. Keep the earbuds in the charging case with the lid open and your smartphone near the case.

• The Xiaomi Earbuds app supports smartphones with Android 6.0 and later, and iOS 14.0 and later.
• Ensure the app is updated to the latest version.

Maintenance

• Charge the earbuds fully at least once every 6 months to maintain battery health.
