Wearing Your Earbuds
To ensure optimal sound quality and comfort, choose the correct ear tip size and wear the earbuds properly.
- Select the ear tips that best fit your ears. Sizes available include XS, S, M, L, XL.
- Insert the earbud into your ear canal and gently twist to secure it in place.

Powering On & Pairing
- Power On: Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically power on.
- Pairing: On your device, enable Bluetooth and select "soundcore P40i" from the list of available devices. The earbuds will enter pairing mode (indicated by a blinking light) and connect (indicated by a solid light).

Charging
- Charge Earbuds: Place the earbuds back into the charging case and close the lid. The case will charge the earbuds.
- Charge Case: Connect the charging case to a power source using a USB-C cable.
LED Indicators:
- Short light (blinking): Indicates battery level < 20%.
- Short light (solid): Indicates battery level 20% - 60%.
- Long light (solid): Indicates battery level 60% - 99%.
- Long light (solid for 5 minutes): Indicates 100% charged.
Quick Charge: 10 minutes of charging provides approximately 5 hours of playtime.

Resetting Your Earbuds
If you experience connectivity issues or other problems, you may need to reset the earbuds.
- Place the earbuds into the charging case and leave the lid open.
- Press and hold the button on the charging case for 10 seconds until the LED indicators flash red three times. This indicates a successful reset.

Touch Controls
The soundcore P40i earbuds feature touch controls for various functions in both True Wireless Stereo (TWS) and Mono modes.
TWS Mode
Music Playback:
- Left Earbud (L) x2 taps: Previous track
- Right Earbud (R) x2 taps: Next track
Calls:
- L/R x2 taps: Answer/End call
- L/R hold 2s: Reject call
Noise Control:
- L/R hold 2s: Switch between Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Transparency modes.
Mono Mode
Music Playback:
- x2 taps: Next track
Calls:
- x2 taps: Answer/End call
- Hold 2s: Reject call
Noise Control:
- Hold 2s: Switch between Normal and Transparency modes.

- For IPX4, IPX5, and IPX6: Do not submerge earphones in water.
Hearing Safety
To avoid hearing damage:
- Do not listen at high volume for extended periods.
- Do not turn the volume so high that you cannot hear your surroundings.
- Do not use earphones while driving.
- Use caution or temporarily discontinue use in potentially hazardous situations.
Magnetic Field Warning: The product generates strong permanent magnetic fields that could interfere with cardiac pacemakers, implanted defibrillators (ICDs), and other implants. Always maintain a distance of at least 3.94 inches (10 cm) between the product component containing the magnet (earbuds and charging case) and the cardiac pacemaker, implanted defibrillator, or other implant.
