soundcore P40i Quick Start Guide for Wireless Earbuds

Wearing

The soundcore P40i earbuds come with various ear tip sizes (XS, S, M, L, XL) to ensure a comfortable and secure fit. To wear, insert the earbuds into your ear canal and gently rotate them until they feel snug and stable.

Powering On & Pairing

Power On: Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically power on.
Pairing: On your device, search for and select "soundcore P40i" from the Bluetooth list. The LED indicator on the earbuds will flash white rapidly during pairing and turn solid white once connected.

Charging

Place the earbuds into the charging case to charge them. The charging case itself can be charged via a USB-C cable.

LED Indicators for Charging Case:

Short light flashes:
1 flash: < 20% battery
2 flashes: 20% - 60% battery
3 flashes: 60% - 99% battery
Long light solid: 100% battery (after 5 minutes of solid light)

A 10-minute charge provides approximately 5 hours of playtime. A full charge of the case takes about 3 hours.

Reset

Place the earbuds into the charging case.
Press and hold the button inside the charging case for 10 seconds until the LED indicators on the earbuds flash white three times. This resets the earbuds.

Touch Controls

The soundcore P40i earbuds feature touch controls for various functions in both True Wireless Stereo (TWS) and Mono modes.

TWS Mode:

Play/Pause: Tap the right (R) or left (L) earbud twice (L×2 or R×2).
Next Track: Tap the right (R) earbud twice (R×2).
Answer/End Call: Tap the right (R) or left (L) earbud twice (L×2 or R×2).
Reject Call: Press and hold the right (R) or left (L) earbud for 2 seconds (L/R 2s).
ANC/Transparency Mode: Press and hold the right (R) or left (L) earbud for 2 seconds (L/R 2s) to cycle through Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Transparency modes.

Mono Mode:

Play/Pause: Tap the earbud twice (×2).
Answer/End Call: Tap the earbud twice (×2).
Reject Call: Press and hold the earbud for 2 seconds (2s).
Normal/Transparency Mode: Press and hold the earbud for 2 seconds (2s) to cycle through Normal and Transparency modes.

Powering Off

Place the earbuds into the charging case.
Close the charging case lid. The earbuds will automatically power off.

Important Safety Information

General Safety Instructions:

Do not disassemble the product.
Keep out of reach of children; small parts may pose a choking hazard.
Do not expose the battery to excessive heat (sunshine, fire, etc.).
Avoid using the product in environments with extremely high or low temperatures, strong sunlight, or very wet conditions.
Ensure no liquid, sweat, or water is on the charging port during charging.
Refer to the user manual for waterproof levels and follow instructions. For IPX4, avoid dripping or splashing water. For IPX4, IPX5, and IPX6, do not submerge the earphones in water.

Hearing Safety:

To prevent hearing damage, avoid listening at high volumes for extended periods.
Do not set the volume so high that you cannot hear your surroundings.
Do not use earphones while driving.
Exercise caution or temporarily discontinue use in potentially hazardous situations.

Magnetic Field Warning:

The product generates strong permanent magnetic fields that could interfere with cardiac pacemakers, implanted defibrillators (ICDs), and other implants. Always maintain a distance of at least 3.94 inches (10 cm) between the product component containing the magnet (earbuds and charging case) and any cardiac pacemaker, implanted defibrillator, or other implant.
