Set the pen nib to be Valid or Invalid. In Valid mode, the pen functions normally. In Invalid mode, the cursor moves, but the pen cannot perform specified actions.

4. Pressure Sensitivity Adjustment

Adjust the pressure sensitivity by dragging the slider. The redo button resets to default pressure. This setting determines the force required for a click or pressure sensation and affects the pressure response curve.

Draw lines in the "Pressure Test" box to observe pressure changes on the right-side bar. Use the "Delete" button to clear lines and reset the level. A steeper curve indicates higher sensitivity.

Digital Pen Basic Operation

Hold the Pen:

Hold the digital pen like a traditional pen. Ensure the pen press keys are easily accessible without accidental activation during drawing. Place the pen on a flat surface when not in use to avoid interference with computer functions.

Cursor Movement:

Move the pen slightly above the display's working area to move the cursor. Touching the screen with the pen and applying slight pressure registers a click.

Click:

Tap the pen display with the pen to register a click. Lightly press to highlight or select an item; double-click to open it.

Move:

Pick up a file or icon and slide the pen nib across the display to move it.

Use the Pen Press Keys:

The two press keys on the digital pen can be programmed via the driver. They function when the pen nib is within 10 mm of the display surface.

Replace the Pen Nib:

Replace worn pen nibs promptly:

  1. Rotate the pen holder counterclockwise to access replacement nibs.
  2. Use the nib clip to tilt and pull the old nib out of the pen.
  3. Insert the new nib straight into the pen barrel until it stops.

Troubleshooting Solutions

Pen display cannot sense pen pressure, but the cursor moves:

This may occur if other drivers are installed or drawing software is running during driver installation. Uninstall all drivers, close drawing software, and reinstall the Huion driver. Restarting the computer after installation is recommended.

Digital pen does not work:

  1. Ensure you are using the original pen supplied with the display.
  2. Verify that the driver has been installed correctly.

Press key does not work:

  1. Check if the press key function is enabled in the driver settings.
  2. Confirm that the press key function has been correctly defined.

Computer cannot enter sleep mode:

Avoid placing the digital pen on the pen display's working area when not in use, as this can prevent the computer from entering sleep mode.

Pen press key does not work:

The pen press keys will not function if the pen nib touches the display's working area or if the vertical distance between the nib and the display exceeds 10 mm.

Computer cannot recognize the pen display:

Check if the USB port is functioning correctly. If not, try a different USB port.
