Hints and Tips
If the receiver does not connect to the transmitter, try the following:
- Press and hold the CHANNEL/SYNC button on the base station and then press the TX button on the transmitter.
- Relocate the base station and/or the remote unit until a connection is found.
- Signals from other electronic devices may cause interference. Place the base station and receiver away from these devices.
- The transmitter may not function properly in extreme temperatures due to battery power. Replace the batteries, or the unit will resume proper function in more moderate weather.
- If the base station is attached to a refrigerator or a metal object by magnet, the transmission range may be shorter. Remove the base station from the refrigerator or metal object, or place the base station and remote sensor as close as possible.
If the Humidity is lower than 10%, it will display LLL.
Warnings
- Do not subject the unit to excessive force, shock, dust, temperature, or humidity.
- Do not immerse the unit in water.
- Do not remove any screws.
- Do not dispose of this unit in a fire. IT MAY EXPLODE.
- Keep the unit away from small children. The unit or parts of the unit might be a choking hazard.
- Never attempt to recharge the batteries using any other methods.
- Dispose of the unit legally and recycle when possible.
Components
1. One base station unit (Receiver).
2. One remote sensor (Transmitter).
Although the remote sensor is designed to be rainproof, it must always be placed upwards so that rain won't get inside the sensor through the vent holes on the bottom. These vent holes allow the sensor to detect environmental temperature and humidity more precisely and quickly.

Outdoor Remote Sensor (Transmitter) Features
The remote sensor is designed to be rainproof and wall-mounted.
Features:
- Battery Compartment: Holds 2 AAA batteries.
- Design: Rain-proof and wall-mounted.
- Outdoor Temperature range: -4°F to 158°F (-20°C to 70°C).
- Humidity range: 10% to 99%.
Buttons:
- CHANNEL Selector (1,2,3): Slide to set Channel 1, 2, or 3.
- RESET: Press once to reset the remote sensor.
- TX: Press to send temperature/humidity data to the receiver manually.
Battery Installation and Setup
Remote Sensor:
- Open the battery compartment.
- Slide the channel selector switch inside the compartment to your desired channel (1, 2, or 3). For additional remotes, select an unused channel.
- Insert 2 AAA batteries according to the polarity markings. Replace the battery compartment cover.
Base Station:
- Open the battery compartment at the back of the base station.
- Insert 2 AAA batteries according to the polarity markings. Replace the compartment door.
- Press the °F / °C button at the back of the base station to display the temperature in °F or °C.
Note:
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon zinc), or rechargeable (nickel cadmium) batteries.
- For maximum performance in normal conditions, use good quality alkaline batteries.
- A low battery icon will appear on the base station display if the battery power is low.
Synchronize Remote Sensors with The Base Station
Each time batteries are replaced or connection is lost, follow this synchronization process:
- Position the remote sensor near the base station.
- When batteries are installed in the base station, the RF signal icon ? (top left of display) will flash for 3 minutes, indicating synchronization mode.
- If 3 minutes pass and the RF signal icon is no longer flashing, press and hold the CHANNEL/SYNC button on the base station for 3-4 seconds until the RF signal icon flashes again to re-enter synchronization mode.
- Install batteries in the remote sensor. Wait a moment or press the TX or RESET button inside the remote sensor's battery compartment. The remote sensor's temperature/humidity will display on the base station, indicating synchronization is complete.
- For additional remote sensors (up to 3 total), repeat the above steps.
- If multiple sensors are registered, press the CHANNEL/SYNC button on the base station to select the desired channel to display permanently. Press until a circular arrow ⌛️ appears under the channel number. The unit will then auto-scroll through channels every 5 seconds. Press CHANNEL/SYNC again until the circular arrow disappears to stop cycling.
Place the Base Station and Remote Sensor
- The indoor base station (receiver) should be placed in a well-ventilated indoor area, away from vents, heating/cooling elements, direct sunlight, windows, doors, or other openings.
- The remote sensor (transmitter) can be placed flat indoors or outdoors. Ensure it is within transmission distance of the base station with minimal obstructions.
- Both the base station and remote sensor can be wall-mounted.
NOTE: Although the remote sensor is rainproof, it must be placed upwards so rain does not enter through the bottom vent holes, which are essential for accurate temperature and humidity detection.
Maximum & Minimum Recorded Temperature & Humidity
- Press MAX/MIN/Clear to display the highest indoor/outdoor temperatures/humidity recorded since the last reset (MAX shown).
- Press MAX/MIN/Clear again to display the lowest recorded values (MIN shown).
- To clear and reset max/min records, press and hold MAX/MIN/Clear for 3 seconds while MAX or MIN is displayed.
- When MAX or MIN is shown, press the ALL-TIME/24 button once to set the data record interval between ALL TIME or 24 hours.
