Electrical Requirements
The portable air conditioner should be connected to a 220-240V, 50 HZ, 16-amp fuse grounded 3-prong outlet.
- The use of a time-delay fuse or time-delay circuit breaker is recommended.
- All wiring must comply with local and national electrical codes and be installed by a qualified electrician. If you have any questions, contact a qualified electrician.
Recommended Grounding Method:
This portable air conditioner must be grounded. It is equipped with a power supply cord with a three-prong grounding plug. The cord must be plugged into a mating, grounded three-prong outlet, grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances. If a mating outlet is not available, it is the customer's responsibility to have a properly grounded three-prong outlet installed by a qualified electrical installer.
NOTE: Your air conditioner's device may differ from the one shown. A damaged power supply cord must be replaced with a new power supply cord obtained from the product manufacturer and must not be repaired. Opening the tamper-resistant case voids all warranty and performance claims.
Location Requirements
NOTE: The flexible exhaust hose allows placement of the air conditioner at least 20 inches from a window or door.
WARNING: The length of the exhaust hose is specially designed according to the specification of the product. Do not replace, extend, or otherwise modify the hose.
For best performance, allow at least 20 inches of air space on all sides of the unit for good air circulation. Do not block the air outlet. Provide easy access to the grounded 3-prong outlet. To ensure proper function, DO NOT overextend or bend the hose. Make sure that there is no obstacle around the air outlet of the exhaust hose in order for the exhaust system to work properly.
Installation Instructions
Unpack the Air Conditioner
WARNING: Excessive Weight Hazard. Use two or more people to move and install air conditioner. Failure to do so can result in back or other injury.
- Do not use sharp instruments, rubbing alcohol, flammable fluids, or abrasive cleaners to remove tape or glue. These products can damage the surface of your air conditioner.
- Handle the air conditioner gently.
- Keep unit upright at least 2 hours prior to use.
Remove packaging materials and recycle them. Remove tape and glue residue from surfaces before turning on the air conditioner. Rub a small amount of liquid dish soap over the adhesive with your fingers. Wipe with warm water and dry.
Caution: Installation accessories are stored in the top of the carton and are required for proper cooling performance. Please remove all accessories from packing materials before use.
Window Vent Panel and Extensions
The window installation kit allows installation in most vertical-sliding windows 18" to 50" wide, or horizontal sliding windows from 18" to 50" tall.
Panel Sizing:
- For window openings from 19" to 26", use the window vent panel (Panel H) and one extension panel (Panel I).
- For window openings from 27" to 34", use the window vent panel (Panel H) and one extension panel (Panel J).
- For window openings from 35" to 50", use the window vent panel (Panel H) and two extension panels (Panel K and Panel J).
Assembly: If your window size requires more than 2 panels, secure the panels with rivets (E).
Install The Portable Air Conditioner
Install Exhaust Hose and Adapter:
- Press the coupling (B) and the window exhaust adapter (D) into the flexible exhaust hose (C). Both have integral clips that snap onto the hose.

- Confirm the hose is locked in place before operating.
Window Installation:
- Roll the air conditioner to the selected location.
- Attach the window exhaust adapter (D) to the outer slider section (H or K).
- Open the window.
- Measure the window opening. If too narrow, remove the inner slider section (I or J) from the outer slider section. Using a saw, cut the inner slider section to fit the window opening. Slide the inner slider section into the outer slider section.
- Place the window slider kit into the window, extending it to fit the width. Ensure the rain cover is on the outside of the window.
- Insert screws (F) into the designated holes to secure the inner and outer slider sections.
NOTE: Product must be used with the included Window installation kit for effective cooling. For casement window installation, the window slider kit may be installed vertically with the opening at the bottom.
Installation In Vertical Sliding Windows
NOTE: The window installation kit can be used with vertical sliding windows between 11.8" and 47" wide.
- Cut the foam seals (I and J) to the proper length and attach them to the window sash and frame.
- Insert the vent panel assembly, including extension panels if needed, into the window opening. Extend the extension panels to the window width.
- Insert the window exhaust adapter into the opening in the vent panel, aligning the tabs with the slots.
- Cut the foam seal (A) to the window width and stuff it between the glass and the window to prevent air and foreign objects from entering the room.
- Install the window-lock bracket with a screw (E) if needed.
Installation In Horizontal Sliding Windows
NOTE: The window installation kit can be used with horizontal sliding windows between 11.8" and 47" wide.
NOTE: To ensure proper function, DO NOT overextend or bend the hose. Make sure there is no obstacle around the air outlet of the exhaust hose (within 500mm) for the exhaust system to work properly.
Portable Air Conditioner Use
Operating your portable air conditioner properly helps you obtain the best possible results.
Starting Your Portable Air Conditioner
IMPORTANT:
- Do not stay in direct airflow from the air conditioner for extended periods.
- Never use in tightly enclosed spaces. Always ensure sufficient airflow of outside air entering the household, especially when used in conjunction with combustible devices like gas stoves, fireplaces, furnaces, or hot water heaters.
- Do not place the power cord or air conditioner near heaters, radiators, stoves, or other heat-producing apparatus.
- This air conditioner is intended for household use. Do not use it for precision climate control for commercial use, precision equipment, food, pets, plants, or artwork.
- Do not block or obstruct the exhaust vent hose, as it may severely affect performance or cause failure.
The air conditioner display shows the current room temperature. When changing modes, the compressor may stop for 3-5 minutes before restarting. If a button is pressed during this time, the compressor will not restart for another 3-5 minutes.
In Cooling or Dry mode, the compressor and condenser fan stop when the room temperature reaches the set temperature. In Dry mode, humidity is automatically set but not displayed.
NOTE: In the event of a power failure, your air conditioner will operate at the previous settings when power is restored.
Using the Remote Control
To operate, aim the remote control at the signal receptor. It operates up to 23 feet (7m) when pointing at the receptor.
Inserting Batteries:
- Remove the battery cover by sliding it in the indicated direction.
- Insert new batteries, matching the (+) and (-) terminals correctly.
- Re-attach the cover by sliding it back into position.
NOTE: Use 2 standard AAA (1.5 volt) batteries. Do not use rechargeable batteries. Replace batteries with new ones of the same type when the display becomes dim or after 6 months. Always replace both batteries with new ones. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different battery types (alkaline, carbon-zinc, rechargeable). Remove batteries if the air conditioner will not be used for an extended period.
CAUTION: Do not use the remote if batteries have leaked, as battery chemicals can cause burns or other health hazards.

Portable Air Conditioner Care
Draining the Air Conditioner (non-Heating models)
Using the Upper Drain Port (Dry Mode Only):
- This can be used for dehumidification in high humidity. The upper drain port is not used in Cool or Fan mode.
- Remove the primary drain cover and plug.
- Install a drain hose (16mm inside diameter, user-supplied) and place the open end over a drain, bucket, or out a window.
Using the Lower Drain Port:
