DIAGRAM (BUTTONS, PORTS & INDICATOR)
1. Short press [Power] to turn on, long press [Power] to turn off; short press [Mode] to switch modes when it is turned on.
2. Short press [-], volume - 1; long press [-] to decrease continuously.
3. Short press [Play/Pause] to play or pause the music in Bluetooth or USB mode;
Long press [Play/Pause] for 5s to reset the soundbar to factory settings (Volume: 15 levels; BASS+/-: 0; TREB+/-: 0; Bluetooth needs to be reconnected; Resume 5 seconds automatic screen break; The working mode is changed to ARC mode).
4. Short press [+], volume + 1; long press [+] to increase continuously.
5. DC 18V IN Jack.
6. SUB OUT: Subwoofer Output Jack.
7. AUX IN: Connect to the compatible devices via the AUX Audio Cable or 3.5mm Audio Cable(provided).
8. OPTICAL IN: Connect to the compatible devices via an optical cable(provided).
9. ARC IN: Connect to the compatible devices via a HDMI cable(provided).
10. USB IN: Connect to the flash drive for playing MP3/WAV/WMA/APE/FLAC files(64GB max, U disk file system format is recommended to use FAT32).

USING REMOTE CONTROL
A. Battery installation (Battery AAAx2 are not included)

1. Short press [Play/Pause] to play or pause the music in Bluetooth or USB mode; long press for 5s to reset the soundbar to factory settings (Volume: 15 levels; BASS+/-: 0; TREB+/-: 0; Bluetooth needs to be reconnected; Resume 5 seconds automatic screen break; The working mode will be changed to ARC mode).
2. The LED display of the soundbar will automatically turn itself off after 5S by default. Turn On Display: The LED display will always be on; Turn Off Display: The LED display will automatically turn off after 5S.
PLACE YOUR SOUNDBAR
A. Install the Host
1. Table Placement
Splicing the two sections of speakers together through the clips and rotating them clockwise to fix them. Make sure that the iron mesh is on the same side. Connect the link cable to pass the audio from one side of the audio bar to the other. To ensure sound effects, place the soundbar on a solid surface.
2. Wall Mounted

3. Split Audio Tower
Docking the corresponding base, divide the left and right channel speakers into two audio towers. Connect the link cable to pass the audio from one side of the audio bar to the other.
B. Install the subwoofer
Lastly, connect the subwoofer cable to the subout port on the bar.
USING YOUR SOUNDBAR
Step 1: Short press power button to power on;

Step 3: Connect the soundbar;

A. Connect to TV
HDMI(ARC) Mode:
- Prior to usage, please make sure your TV has HDMI(ARC) OUT port.
- Due to the different driving capabilities of multiple TV HDMI interfaces, it is recommended to use the HDMI ARC cable, which is achieve 30AWG or above, 2 meters or less, and supports 4K/60Hz. If the HDMI cable is too long or too thin, may cause no sound output due to signal attenuation.
- Setting your TV(may vary due to different brand, for more details please read our attached setup guide):
- Turn off the TV Speaker.
- Change the TV audio output setting to PCM.
- You'll also probably have to enable a feature called HDMI-CEC on your TV(This is called something different on different TV - Samsung calls it AnyNet+, while Sony calls it Bravia Sync and LG calls it SimpLink).
Optical/AUX Mode:
- Using the provided optical cable connect to the TV.
- Setting your TV(may vary due to different brand, more details please read our attached setup guide):
- Turn off the TV Speaker.
- Change the TV audio output setting to PCM.
If you are using Smart TV apps: Apps such as Netflix are setted default audio output is Dolby and DTS for the movie, but this sound bar did no support Dolby and DTS, so you will hear crack sound or no sound, please kindly disable the Dolby and DTS on Netflix. Here is the method in below:
- Launch the Netflix app.
- Select a TV show or movie.
- While your TV show or movie is playing, press the Down arrow on your remote.
- Select Audio & Subtitles.
- Select your preferred audio or subtitle options(disable the Dolby and DTS).
- Save the settings.
- Play the video test the sound.

Also, for the Amazon prime video app and Hulu, also please kindly disable the Dolby and DTS, the method is similar to the Netflix, please kindly try.
B. Connect to Bluetooth Device
- Let the soundbar enters the pairing mode, and the LED display starts to flash.
- Pair to the soundbar and your Bluetooth device(Bluetooth Pairing Name: MEREDO D40), when pairing is successful, the voice prompt "Connected".
C. Connect to USB
- Insert the USB stick into the soundbar(Note: support maximal 64GB, supported music format are mp3, wma, wav, ape, flac, USB disk file system format is recommended to use FAT32).
- Press MODE button and switch to the USB Mode.

D. Connect to Other Devices
According to the output audio interface supported by the connected device, select the corresponding mode and connect.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Q: No sound comes out after connect to TV using ARC/Optical (Common).
A: 1. Please make sure your TV support ARC output. Then go to Setting in your TV setting: May vary due to different brand;
2. Please turn off TV speaker: Setting>Sound>Select Speaker to: external speaker (optical mode)/ turn off TV Speaker;
3. Please set TV audio output to PCM: Setting>Sound(audio)>advanced Audio>digital audio output>PCM Setting>Sound(audio)> audio output format> PCM/Dolby off;
Note: The setting of Sony TV is a little different from other brand, please read the attached setup guide carefully. Some TVs HDMI ports do not have automatic access or adjustment functions. If there is no sound when connected to HDMI, but the volume adjustment can be synchronized, it is recommended to restore the TV to factory settings or disconnect all HDMI devices on the TV, and then connect the soundbar after the TV is turned off and restarted.
Q: Why watching Netflix, Disney+, Amazon prime has no sound or noise, some shows have sound on Smart TV?
A: Because this soundbar does not support Dolby Sound and DTS, please kindly disable the Dolby and DTS on Netflix, and you need to find the Audio setting option and select Stereo instead of Dolby.
Q: What should I do if have noise from the speaker?
A: It may be caused by electromagnetic interference(like internet modem) in the environment where the soundbar is used and you need to gradually eliminate the source of interference before using it.
Q: What should I do if I follow the setup steps above but the problem is still not resolved?
A: Please direct contact our after sales support email: support@meredo.net, we provide effective warranty and will solve your problem.
Q: Can I use a universal remote?
A: Yes, please make sure to follow your universal remote step to set up. We have provided our remote code on previous pages (AAAA). Only support universal remote with learning function with 4-digit coding. We HIGHLY recommend you use our included remote for the best compatibility.
Q: Remote control is not working.
A: 1: Double check if the batteries are correctly installed in the battery slot.
2: Replace two brand new AAA batteries.
3: Point the remote to the center of the sound bar (IR is built in the front of the box). If the issue still exists after you did the above steps, please contact us: support@meredo.net, we will provide you with free replacement.

CAUTION: To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volume levels for long periods.
This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed of with other household wastes, but it should be disposed separately from other wastes.
