Thank you for purchasing the MEREDO D47CH-6 Soundbar. This manual provides detailed information on setting up and using your soundbar to achieve the ultimate sound experience. Please read this manual carefully before operating the Soundbar and keep it handy for future reference.

Soundbar Controls and Ports

Top View Controls:

  • 1. Power/Mode Button: Short press to turn on, long press for 3 seconds to turn off. Short press to switch input modes when turned on.
  • 2. Volume Down Button: Short press to decrease volume by one step. Long press to decrease volume quickly.
  • 3. Volume Up Button: Short press to increase volume by one step. Long press to increase volume quickly.
  • 4. Play/Pause Button: In Bluetooth or USB mode, short press to play or pause.

Rear View Ports:

  • 5. DC IN: Connect the 18V power adapter here.
  • 6. ARC IN: Connect to compatible devices via an HDMI cable (not provided).
  • 7. OPTICAL IN: Connect to compatible devices via an optical cable (provided).
  • 8. USB IN: Connect a flash drive for playing MP3/WAV/WMA/APE/FLAC files (up to 64GB, not provided).
  • 9. AUX IN: Connect to compatible devices via a 3.5mm-RCA stereo jack cable (provided).

Placement

A. Table Placement

Remote Control

A. Battery Installation

Battery installation: Requires 2 x AAA batteries (not included).

B. Using the Remote Control

The working range of the remote control is +/- 30 degrees in both vertical and horizontal directions, up to 8 meters.

C. Remote Control Functions:

  • 1. Power Button (⏻): Short press for 1 second to power on; hold for 3 seconds to power off.
  • 2. Mode Button: Short press to switch input modes among Bluetooth, Optical, Aux, USB, ARC.
  • 3. Movie Button: Selects Movie mode.
  • 4. Music Button: Selects Music mode.
  • 5. News Button: Selects News mode for clearer dialogue.
  • 6. Bass Button: Enhances bass for movies and music.
  • 7. Game Button: Selects Game mode for gaming and watching.
  • 8. LED OFF Button: Short press to turn the LED indicator on/off.

Using Your Soundbar

A. Power Connection

Connect the provided power adapter to the DC IN port on the soundbar.

B. Connect to TV

After connecting the cable, use the buttons on the remote control or the soundbar to change the input mode.

Notes:

  • Prior to usage, check if your TV has HDMI ARC, Optical, or Aux Output.
  • For HDMI ARC connection, ensure your TV supports HDMI ARC and you are using an HDMI cable version 1.4 or higher.
  • When connected in Optical Mode, ensure your TV's PCM settings are turned on if there is no sound.
  • The maximum volume level for the soundbar is 32.

C. Connect to Other Devices

Connect other audio sources such as tablets or game consoles using the appropriate cables (HDMI ARC, Optical, AUX).

D. Connect to Bluetooth Device

Short press the "MODE" button on the remote control or the Switch button on the Soundbar to enter Bluetooth mode. When entering pairing mode, the indicator light will flash. The pairing name is "MEREDO". When pairing is successful, a voice prompt will say "Connected".

Safety Instructions

  1. Avoid dropping the soundbar.

Caution: To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volume levels for long periods.

Disposal Information:

This marking indicates that the product should not be disposed of with other household wastes. It should be disposed of separately at recycling centers for electrical and electronic wastes. Correct disposal helps prevent potential damage to the environment and human health.

Battery Disposal: Batteries should not be disposed of with household waste. Recycle batteries through your local, free battery return system. If batteries contain mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), or lead (Pb) above specified levels, improper disposal can harm health or the environment.
