User Manual and Feature Guide
APP Integration
Download the Soundcore app to access ambient sound features, EQ settings, Dolby Audio, HearID sound, firmware updates, and other advanced functionalities. If your earbuds fail to connect to the app, try reinstalling it or updating to the latest version from your mobile app store.

Overview
Identify the components of your Soundcore Liberty 5 NC earbuds and charging case:
- ? Ear Tip: M-size ear tips are pre-installed.
- ? Earbud Control Area: Squeeze this area on the earbud stems to manage functions.
- ⚡ Charging Contacts: Connects the earbud to the case for charging.
- ? USB-C Charging Port: For charging the case.
- ? Charging Case Button: Used for reset and firmware updates.
- ? LED Light Strip: Indicates charging status and pairing mode.

Wearing Your Earbuds
Achieve the best fit and sound quality:
- Select Ear Tips: Try different ear tip sizes (XXS, XS, S, M, L, XL) to find the most comfortable and secure fit.
- Insert Earbuds: Gently place the earbuds into your ear canal and rotate them until they feel snug.
- Fit Test: Use the fit test feature within the Soundcore app to ensure optimal active noise cancelling performance.

Maintenance: To maintain optimal sound quality, clean your earbuds regularly. Use a slightly moistened cotton swab with rubbing alcohol to gently wipe the metal mesh filter beneath the rubber ear tips. Ensure the alcohol has completely dried before use.
Powering On and Pairing
The earbuds automatically power on and enter Bluetooth pairing mode when you slide open the charging case.
Pairing Status: The LED light strip will indicate ? PAIRING and then ✅ CONNECTED for 2 seconds before turning off.
Google Fast Pair: For Android smartphones (Android 6.0 or above), instant pairing is available via Google Fast Pair. Simply select "soundcore Liberty 5" from your device's Bluetooth list.
Manual Pairing: For other devices (iOS & Others), go to your device's Bluetooth settings and select "soundcore Liberty 5" to connect.

Charging
Ensure earbuds and the USB-C charging port are dry before charging.
- Place the earbuds in the charging case and close it.
- Connect the case to a power supply using the provided USB-C cable.
- For wireless charging, place the case at the center of a compatible wireless charger.
Charging Times:
- Charging case with earbuds: 3 hours (via cable), 4 hours (wirelessly).
- Earbuds (from empty): Up to 1 hour.
- 10 minutes of charging provides 5 hours of playtime.
Battery Level Indicators (LED Light Strip):
- Short light strip: < 20% (flashing red), 20%-60% (solid red), 60%-99% (solid red), 100% (solid green, 5 mins).
- Long light strip: <20% (flashing red), 20%-60% (solid red), 60%-100% (solid green, 5 mins).
Note: The charging case will stop charging the earbuds when its battery level drops below 10%.

Dual Connections
Dual Connections are enabled by default, allowing connection to two devices simultaneously.
To Connect a Second Device: While connected to one device, pinch the control area on both earbud stems for 3 seconds until a voice prompt indicates pairing mode. Then, pair with the second device.
Via Soundcore App: You can also manage Dual Connections in the app: Settings > Dual Connections > Enable Dual Connections > Connect New Device.

Note: Mic mute/unmute functionality may require enabling through the Soundcore app controls.

LED Light Guide
Understand the status indicators for the earbuds and charging case:
Charging Case LED Indicators:
- Short light strip: < 20% (flashing red), 20%-60% (solid red), 60%-99% (solid red), 100% (solid green for 5 mins).
- Long light strip: <20% (flashing red), 20%-60% (solid red), 60%-100% (solid green for 5 mins).
Earbud LED Indicators (when in case):
- Short light strip: <20% (flashing red), 20%-60% (solid red), 60%-100% (solid green for 5 mins).
- Long light strip: <20% (flashing red), 20%-60% (solid red), 60%-100% (solid green for 5 mins).
Pairing/Connection Status:
- ? PAIRING: Flashing white rapidly.
- ✅ CONNECTED: Solid white for 2 seconds.
Status Descriptions:
- Flashing white rapidly: Pairing mode.
- Flashing white slowly: Not specified, likely searching for device.
- Steady white: Connected.
- Flashing red slowly: Low battery.
- Steady red: Charging or low battery.
- Light off: Powered off or fully charged (case).

Dolby Audio
Experience immersive sound with Dolby Audio. Choose from three modes in the Soundcore app:
- Music Mode: Delivers immersive, detailed sound for music, making every note clear.
- Podcast Mode: Optimized for clear, focused vocals for spoken content.
- Movie Mode: Enhances cinematic experiences with rich, immersive audio.

Gaming Mode
Gain a competitive edge with precise audio cues in gaming. Gaming mode allows you to capture every detail and react quickly.
Note: Gaming mode and LDAC cannot be enabled simultaneously.

Ambient Sound
Control your listening environment with Ambient Sound modes:
- Noise Cancellation (Level 1-5): Optimizes noise cancellation based on your environment. Includes specialized modes:
- ✈️ Airplane Mode: Reduces airplane engine noise for a peaceful experience.
- ? Anti-Bump Mode: Optimizes noise cancellation for bumpy rides, ensuring stable audio.
- Normal: Enjoy balanced sound without noise cancellation.
- Transparency: Hear ambient sounds clearly while listening to music.

LDAC
Experience higher sound quality with LDAC on devices running Android 8.0 or later. LDAC delivers superior audio but may increase power consumption and reduce playtime.
Note: Enable LDAC in low-interference environments for a stable Bluetooth connection. LDAC and multipoint connection cannot be used at the same time.

Remote Photo Snap
Use your earbuds to remotely control your phone's camera.
- Ensure earbuds are connected via Bluetooth and worn.
- Open the camera app on your phone.
- Squeeze either earbud stem once to take a photo.
Note: This feature may need to be enabled in the Soundcore app's Controls section. It might not be supported on all phones due to system settings.

Quick Mute
Easily mute or unmute your microphone during calls or meetings.
- During a call, squeeze either earbud stem once to mute or unmute the microphone (default is unmuted).
- You will hear a voice prompt confirming the change. If the microphone remains muted, a prompt will repeat every 20 seconds.
Note: This feature may need to be enabled in the Soundcore app's Controls section.

Powering Off
To power off your earbuds, simply return them to the charging case and close the lid.
Automatic Power Off: Earbuds automatically power off after 30 minutes if not connected to any device when removed from the case. This duration can be adjusted in the Soundcore app.

Reset
If you encounter issues, you can reset your earbuds.
- Place both earbuds in the charging case and leave the case open.
- Press and hold the charging case button for 10 seconds until the LED light strip flashes white three times.

Firmware Update
You will be notified in the Soundcore app when a new firmware version is available for your earbuds or charging case.
- Ensure earbuds are in the charging case, and the case remains open during the update.
- Keep the battery levels of both earbuds and the case above 20% during the update.
- Avoid using the earbuds during the firmware update.
