Introduction
Extend your smart home to the outdoors with the weather-resistant smart outdoor plug. Control your patio lights, holiday decorations, and more from your smartphone. Turn each outlet on/off individually, set schedules, and use voice commands with Alexa, Google Assistant, or Microsoft Cortana to control connected devices.

Appearance
This smart outdoor plug features two individual smart outlets, each with a control button and an LED indicator for status. The System LED changes color to indicate different statuses.
System LED Status
- Orange: Rebooting.
- Blinking Orange and Green: Setup mode initiated.
- Blinking Green: Searching for Wi-Fi.
- White: Connected to Wi-Fi network successfully.
- Blinking Orange: Resetting.
- Red: No Wi-Fi connection.
Components
- Smart Outlet x 2: Plug in your device and control it from your smartphone. Each outlet is independent.
- LED of Smart Outlet x 2: Lights up when the corresponding smart outlet is on.
- Control Button x 2: Press to turn the corresponding outlet on or off. Press and hold for 5 seconds to re-enable setup mode. Press and hold for 10 seconds to restore the smart outdoor plug to factory default settings.
Set Up Your Smart Outdoor Plug
Follow these steps to set up your smart outdoor plug using the Kasa Smart app:
1. Download and Install Kasa App
Go to Google Play or the Apple App Store, or scan the QR code below to download the Kasa app on your Android or iOS smartphone or tablet.

2. Log In or Sign Up with TP-Link ID
Open the Kasa app. Use your TP-Link ID to log in. If you don't have a TP-Link ID, tap "Create Account" and the app will guide you through the process.
3. Add Device
Tap the '+' button in the Kasa app, select "Smart Outdoor Plug," and then follow the step-by-step app instructions to complete the setup.
Main Device Controls
After successfully setting up your smart outdoor plug, the Kasa app home page will display the status of all added devices. You can manage them from here. The plug has 2 smart outlets (e.g., HS107) which can be controlled individually.
Home Page View
The Home Page lists your connected devices, allowing you to see their status and access controls.
Device Status View
Tapping on a specific outlet or device opens its detailed status page, where you can control it, set schedules, timers, and more.
Configure Your Smart Outdoor Plug
On the Device Status page, you can configure various settings for your smart outlets:
Set Schedule
Tap the [Schedule icon] to set a schedule for your smart outlet, simplifying your daily routine by creating automatic On/Off actions.
Preset Away Mode
Tap the [Away Mode icon] to preset the Away Mode. Your smart outlet will be randomly turned on/off during the specified time to simulate occupancy.
Set Timer
Tap the [Timer icon] to set a timer. Your smart outlet will automatically turn on/off after the specified time ends.
Check Usage
Tap the [Usage icon] to view and track energy consumption of your connected devices.
Device Settings
Tap the [Settings icon] to view and change the settings of your smart outlet, such as renaming, setting icons, and enabling remote control.
Create Scenes
A scene is a preset group of smart devices that can be programmed, customized, and activated simultaneously with a single tap from your smartphone or tablet. Scenes allow you to easily set your mood, activity, or fit any special occasion, enabling your smart home devices to act automatically.
Discover Kasa
Use the Kasa app to pair your smart outdoor plug with Amazon Alexa, Google Home Assistant, or Microsoft Cortana for a hands-free experience. IFTTT support also allows for easy interaction between a wide range of products.
To set up integrations, launch the Kasa app and navigate to Add Device > WORKS WITH KASA, then select the desired service (e.g., Nest Home and Away, Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, IFTTT) for detailed instructions.

Safety Information
Please read and follow the safety information below when operating the device. TP-Link cannot guarantee that no accidents or damage will occur due to improper use. Use this product with care and at your own risk.
- Keep the device away from water, fire, humidity, or hot environments.
- Do not attempt to disassemble, repair, or modify the device.
- Do not use the device where wireless devices are not allowed.
- The socket-outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible.

- For outdoor usage, use this product with a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) outlet.

WARNING
- Timer could turn on unexpectedly without the user being present. To reduce this hazardous condition, unplug the appliance controlled by the timer before servicing.
