Important Safeguards
General
- Read all instructions before using.

How to Use
Description of Parts
The sandwich maker has the following parts:
- 1. Power light: Indicates power status (red and green).
- 2. Latch: Secures the lid.
- 3. Sandwich plate: The cooking surface where sandwiches are placed.

Before First Use
- Remove all packing material, stickers, and plastic bands.
- Save the literature.
- Clean the appliance and plates according to the CARE AND CLEANING section.
- For best results, wipe a thin layer of vegetable shortening or oil onto the non-stick surfaces.
CAUTION: Use heat-resistant gloves or mitts to avoid burns from steam or contact.
Operating Instructions
Using Your Sandwich Maker
Preparation
Note: Aerosol cooking spray should not be used on the plates.
- Place the appliance on a stable, level, heatproof surface.
- Close the lid and plug the cord into an outlet.
- Always preheat the appliance before use.
- The green light illuminates when plugged in and stays on during preheating. Both green and red lights turn on when the appliance is preheated.
- Spread butter/margarine thinly on each slice of bread. Do not use low-fat spreads, as they may burn and damage the non-stick surfaces.
- Close the casing for the sandwich maker to heat up.
- After approximately 3 minutes, the red light will turn off, indicating the sandwich maker is ready for use.
- Place 2 slices of bread, buttered side down, on the bottom toasting plate.
- Gently press the bread into the plate's hollows with a wooden spoon.
- Close the casing to ensure the sandwich is placed evenly and lock the safety catch.
- Normal cooking times are 3-6 minutes per sandwich. The red light will cycle on and off as the thermostat maintains the proper temperature.
- Remove sandwiches with a plastic or wooden spatula. Be careful, as fillings will be hot. Allow to cool before eating.
- Unplug the power cord after cooking and allow the sandwich maker to cool down.
CAUTION: The appliance is not to be operated in the open position.
Care and Maintenance
Cleaning
- Always unplug the sandwich maker and wait for it to cool down before cleaning.
- No disassembly is required. Dry with a paper towel to absorb excess oil. Brush crumbs from grooves and wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap.
- Never immerse the appliance in water. Avoid scratching or sharp utensils that could damage the non-stick surface.
- Do not use cleansers or oven cleaners on the heating plates.
- For handles and other parts, use a damp cloth with mild soap.
- For stubborn residue, apply a small amount of cooking oil, let sit for 5 minutes, then wipe clean.
Disposal
Proper disposal of this product. This label indicates that, in the EU, electronic devices cannot be disposed of with regular household waste. Please use the return or collection systems of your municipality or contact the seller where you purchased this product.
