  7. Children aged eight years and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental abilities, or lack of experience or knowledge, may use this appliance if properly supervised or instructed on safe use and hazards. Cleaning, operating, maintenance, or connecting to power supply should not be done by children under eight.

DANGER OF BURNS

  • Do not touch hot surfaces; use handles, buttons, or knobs.
  • Keep hands and face a safe distance from escaping steam. Pour hot water slowly and do not over-tilt the kettle to prevent splashes.
  • Do not open the lid while boiling. Do not refill immediately after boiling. Escaping steam or hot water from an open lid can cause scalding.
  • Exercise extreme caution when moving the kettle with hot water.
  • The scald hazard remains long after boiling.

Follow cleaning and maintenance instructions in the CARE AND MAINTENANCE section.

Do not use if damaged, dropped, or malfunctioning. Return to an authorized service facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.

WARNING! Do not attempt to repair the kettle or power base yourself. Contact the retailer, manufacturer, or authorized center for servicing and repairs.

RISK OF SUFFOCATION! KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN – Keep all packaging materials out of the reach of babies and children.

  • Remove all packaging from the appliance.

  • Rinse the interior of the kettle thoroughly. Fill to the MAX mark, boil, and discard the water. Repeat 2-3 times. Rinse the inside with cold water and wipe the outside with a soft damp cloth.

Operating Instructions

Using Your Kettle

  1. Remove the kettle from the power base (8).
  2. Open the lid (3).
  3. Fill the kettle with the desired amount of water, ensuring the level is above the minimum marking (MIN 0.5L / 17 oz) and below the maximum marking (MAX 1.7L / 58 oz) on the water level gauge (2).
  4. Close the lid (3) securely.
  5. Place the kettle on the power base (7), ensuring it is correctly positioned.
  6. Fully unwind the power cord (6) and slot it into the cable recess on the bottom of the power base (7). Insert the plug (8) into the wall socket.
  7. Press the ON/OFF switch (5) to turn on the kettle. A blue light illuminates when the kettle is on and turns off when it is off. The kettle switches off automatically when the water has boiled.
  8. To manually switch off the kettle at any time, lift the ON/OFF switch (5) towards the 'O' marking.
  9. Unplug the kettle from the wall socket when not in use.

CAUTION

  • Do not overfill the kettle, as boiling water may splash out from the spout or lid, causing scalding.
  • Ensure the ON/OFF switch (5) is clear of obstructions and the lid (3) is properly closed. The kettle will not switch off automatically if the switch is obstructed or the lid is open.
  • Never open the lid while the water is boiling.
  • Always switch off the kettle before removing it from the power base.

NOTE: Moisture on the power base (7) is normal condensation from steam that triggers the automatic shut-off.

Boil Dry Cut-off Protection

If the kettle is accidentally switched on empty or with insufficient water, the boil dry feature will automatically cut off the power supply. Lift the kettle from the power base and let it cool down before refilling. Fill with water up to the MAX mark to reset the boil dry protection.

Avoid boiling the kettle dry to prevent appliance damage and shorten its lifespan.

CAUTION for Cleaning

  • Always unplug the appliance and let it cool down before cleaning.
  • Do not immerse the kettle, power base, or power cord in water or other liquids. Never rinse under the tap or expose to moisture.
  • Never use solvents, chemical or abrasive cleaning agents, wire brushes, sharp objects, or scouring pads.

Care and Maintenance

General Cleaning

  1. Remove the kettle from the power base (7). Empty and rinse the interior thoroughly with water.
  2. Wipe the exterior of the kettle and the plastic parts of the power base (7) with a soft cloth moistened with water or mild detergent. Dry completely with a soft, dry cloth.

NOTE: Ensure all connectors and sockets remain dry.

Descaling

Descale your kettle regularly for efficient performance. Limescale and hard mineral deposits can build up, slowing the boiling process.

To descale with white vinegar:

  1. Open the lid (3).
  2. Fill the kettle to the MAX mark with a mixture of water and white vinegar (1:1 ratio).
  3. Boil the mixture and let it stand for approximately 30 minutes. If severely scaled, boil a second time. After boiling, discard the vinegar solution and rinse the interior thoroughly.
  4. Fill the kettle with fresh water to the MAX mark. Bring to a boil and discard the water. Repeat several times.
  5. Descale every 3 months in soft water areas, or monthly in hard water areas. Regular descaling ensures proper function, longevity, and energy savings.

Tips to Reduce Scale Buildup

  • Empty the kettle of water after each use.
  • Do not leave water standing overnight in the tank.
  • Use filtered water instead of tap or mineral water.

NOTE: Always clean the appliance before storing it for a long period. Store in original packaging in a cool, dry, dust-free environment away from direct sunlight.
