Product Introduction
The SONOFF MINI Extreme is a compact and tiny Wi-Fi Smart Switch designed to be installed in a standard wall box. It supports loads of up to 10A, transforming ordinary switches into smart ones. It offers safe and smart control, allowing for smart scene creation and automation of your home.
Device Overview:
- Button: Used for manual control and pairing.
- Network indicator: Shows the network status of the device.
- Wiring ports: Terminals for connecting the device to the power supply and the switch.
Device Weight and Installation Height: The device weight is less than 1kg, and the recommended installation height is less than 2m.

Features

Installation
1. Power Off
Before installation, ensure the power supply is turned off. It is recommended to have the installation and maintenance performed by a professional electrician to avoid electric shock hazards.
2. Wiring Instruction
The device can be controlled by automation or the App regardless of whether S1 and S2 are connected or left idle to the external switch. To prevent damage and danger, do not connect S1 to strong electricity (e.g., neutral wire, earth wire) or S2 to strong electricity (e.g., live wire, neutral wire, earth wire). Ensure all wires are connected correctly.
Protective Device: Before installing the device, install an air switch (10A/250V) as a protective device.
Pair with eWeLink App
1. Download the eWeLink App
Download the "eWeLink" app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
2. Power On
After powering on, the device enters Bluetooth Pairing Mode by default. The Network indicator will flash in a cycle of two short and one long. If the device is not paired within 10 minutes, it will exit pairing mode. To re-enter pairing mode, long-press the button for 5 seconds until the Network indicator flashes as described.
3. Add Device
Tap "+" on the app, select "Bluetooth Pairing", and follow the on-screen prompts to add the device.
Add eWeLink-Remote Sub-devices
Navigate to the Device Settings page in the eWeLink App, select "eWeLink-Remote sub-devices", tap "Add", and then trigger the sub-device to add it successfully.
Install the MINI Extreme in the mounting box
The MINI Extreme can be installed directly into a standard mounting box.

Device Network Changing
Change the device's network by selecting "Wi-Fi Settings" in the "Device Settings" page on the eWeLink App.
Factory Reset
Reset the device to factory settings by selecting "Delete device" on the eWeLink App.
FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
1. Fail to pair Wi-Fi devices with the eWeLink App
- Ensure the device is in pairing mode. The device will exit pairing mode if not paired within 10 minutes.
- Enable location service and allow access to location permission. This is required to obtain Wi-Fi list information.
- Ensure your Wi-Fi operates on the 2.4GHz band.
- Enter the Wi-Fi SSID and password correctly without special characters. Incorrect passwords are a common cause of pairing failure.
- Place the device close to the router for good signal transmission during pairing.
2. The LED indicator flashes twice on repeated means the server fails to connect.
- Ensure the networking is normal and the internet connection is stable.
- If the router's load capacity is exceeded, remove some devices or use a router with higher capacity.
- If the above methods do not solve the problem, submit your issue via "Help & Feedback" in the eWeLink App.
3. Wi-Fi devices are "offline"
- Devices fail to connect to the router.
- Incorrect Wi-Fi SSID and password entered.
- Wi-Fi SSID and password contain special characters that the system cannot recognize (e.g., Hebrew, Arabic characters).
- Low router capacity.
- Weak Wi-Fi signal due to distance or obstacles between the router and the device.
