Connection Status Note
The device might appear "Offline" in eWeLink for up to 1 minute as it connects to your router and server. When the green LED is on, the device is "Online". If eWeLink still shows "Offline", close and reopen eWeLink.
6. Troubleshooting
1. My device has been added correctly but remains "Offline".
Response: Newly added devices require 1-2 minutes to connect to your router and the internet. If it remains offline for an extended period, diagnose the issue based on the green LED status:
- Green LED blinks once and repeats: The device did not connect to the router. This could be due to an incorrect WiFi password or the device being too far from the router, resulting in a weak WiFi signal. The device cannot be added to a 5G-WiFi router; only 2.4G-WiFi is supported. Ensure your router is MAC-address enabled.
- Green LED blinks slowly once and repeats: The device has connected to the router and server but has not been added to the device list. Try power cycling the device. If it still doesn't work, simply re-add the device.
- Green LED blinks rapidly twice and repeats: The device has connected to the router but not to the server. Confirm that your WiFi router is functioning normally.
2. Why can't the APP find the device during the pairing state?
Response: This is likely due to your phone's cache. Close your phone's WLAN and reopen it after a minute. Simultaneously, power off the device if possible, then power it on again to try.
