- Wall Mounting: Use only approved brackets and follow installation instructions carefully. Ensure secure mounting.
Installation
Detaching the Table-Top Stand
For XR-100X92:
- Remove the screws ? securing the Table-Top Stand to the rear of the TV.
- Store the screws ? and the stand in a safe place. Keep screws ? away from small children.
For XR-75X90J/75X90CJ/65X90J/65X90CJ/55X90J/55X90CJ/50X90J:
- Firmly hold one side of the Table-Top Stand with both hands.
- Have other people lift the TV while you remove the stand.
- Repeat for the other side of the stand. Three or more people are recommended for this process.
Important Notes for Detaching:
- Be careful when lifting the TV as the detached stand may topple over, causing personal injury.
- Prevent the TV from falling and damaging the surface it is on.
- Do not remove the stand unless installing compatible accessories.
- Ensure the TV is vertical before powering on. Do not power on with the panel facing down to avoid uneven picture uniformity.
- When reattaching the stand, use the original screws ? to their original holes.
- Avoid excessive force during detachment to prevent the TV from falling, which could cause injury or damage.
- Take care when handling the stand to prevent damage to the TV.
Attaching the Wall-Mount Bracket
For XR-100X92:
- Remove the stand covers (if applicable).
- Remove the screws ? from the rear of the TV.
- Attach the Wall-Mount Bracket (not supplied) using the screws ? (not supplied).
- If using an electric screwdriver ?, set the torque to approximately 1.5 N-m (15 kgf-cm).
For XR-75X90J/75X90CJ/65X90J/65X90CJ/55X90J/55X90CJ/50X90J:
- Remove the screws ? from the rear of the TV.
- Attach the supplied Wall-Mount Attachment to the rear of the TV, ensuring it is parallel to the wall.
- Attach the Wall-Mount Bracket (not supplied) using the screws ? (not supplied).
- If using an electric screwdriver ?, set the torque to approximately 1.5 N-m (15 kgf-cm).
- Ensure the Wall-Mount Attachment is securely fastened to the TV.
- Use only a flat-head screwdriver ? for the Wall-Mount Attachment to prevent over-torquing and potential TV damage.

- XR-75X90J/75X90CJ/65X90J/65X90CJ/55X90J/55X90CJ/50X90J: 300 x 300 (except 50X90J which is 200 x 200)

- XR-100X92: M8 (length as per installation guide)
- XR-75X90J/75X90CJ/65X90J/65X90CJ/55X90J/55X90CJ/50X90J: M6 (length as per installation guide)
Note: Wall-Mount Bracket is not supplied.
Troubleshooting
For issues like a black screen, no sound, frozen picture, TV not responding, or lost network connection, try the following steps:
- Restart TV: Press and hold the power button ⏻ on the remote control for about five seconds. If the TV does not recover, unplug the AC power cord, press and release the power button ⏻ on the TV, wait two minutes, then plug the cord back in. Alternatively, press and hold the power button ⏻ on the TV for about 40 seconds until it turns off.
- Access Help Menu: Press the HELP button on the remote control.
- Software Update: Connect your TV to the Internet and perform a software update. Sony recommends keeping your TV software updated for new features and performance improvements.
- Factory Data Reset: This will clear all customized settings, including parental lock. Refer to the online Help Guide for instructions on selecting [Factory data reset].
Forced Factory Data Reset: Unplug the AC power cord. Press and hold the button on the TV, then plug in the AC power cord. (The specific button location is usually on the TV itself, often a power or control button).
Data Security Before Discarding/Selling: Remove all personal and account information by unlinking/unregistering, signing out of network services, and performing a factory reset.
Remote Control Not Functioning: Replace the batteries.
Forgotten Parental Lock Password: Enter 4357 for the PIN and then enter the new PIN.
Forgotten Restricted Profile Password: Perform a forced factory data reset.
