Automatic Time Setting
The Reizen Atomic Talking Analog Alarm Clock automatically adjusts to the precise correct time via a radio signal received daily at 3:00 AM from the US Atomic Clock. After signal reception, the clock will display the correct time on both the analog face and in talking mode. The clock also automatically accounts for Daylight Saving Time (DST), though this can be turned off. Manual setting is available for travel or locations without a reliable atomic radio signal.

Troubleshooting
General Issues
Your clock is a delicate and precise instrument. Although uncommon, hard knocks or vibrations can cause the hands to move irregularly, displaying the incorrect time, even if the internal clock is keeping accurate time. If you notice the clock receives a signal and announces the correct time but the hands are not synchronized, the clock needs to be reset. Please refer to the "Reset the Clock" section for details.
Reset the Clock
- Press S6 (Reset) with a ballpoint pen to reset the clock.
- The clock will align the hands to 12 o'clock automatically and then perform a signal reception.
- Place the clock in a location where signal reception is possible after the reset.
- The correct time will display after a signal is received. This may take up to 24 hours, depending on your location and the time of reset.
- US users must set the correct Time Zone after the clock is able to pick up a signal. Refer to the "US Time Zone Setting" section for details.
Clock Not Receiving Time Signal
Reasons for not being able to receive the Time Signal include:
- Being outside of the US signal area.
- Being in a built-up area (e.g., apartment buildings).
- Metal objects blocking the radio signal.
- Interference by a computer or TV monitor.
If your clock is unable to make contact with the radio signal, it will continue to function as a standard clock. The time will be corrected the next time your clock receives the time signal.
Clock Stops and No Talking Function
When the battery is low, the clock hands will stop, and the talking function will be terminated. It is time to change the batteries. Please refer to the "Battery Change" section for details.
Hour, Minute and/or Second Hand(s) is Not Correct
You need to reset the clock. Refer to "Reset the Clock" for details.
Hands Running Non-Stop After Battery Replacement
Press the Reset button (S6).
The Clock Does Not Run After Battery Replacement

Low Battery Detection
When the battery is low, the second hand slows to one step every 2 seconds, and the talking function is terminated. Both batteries should be replaced. Refer to the "Battery Replacement" section for details.
Battery Replacement
This clock uses 2 "C" batteries. Alkaline batteries are recommended.
- Open and carefully remove the battery cover.
- Remove the old batteries and insert 2 new batteries with the correct polarity.
- Press the S6 (Reset) button after battery replacement.
- Place the clock in a location where signal reception is possible and wait until the clock sets itself automatically. This will take from 1 to 24 hours.
- Set your US Time Zone as necessary after the clock picks up the signal. Refer to the "US Time Zone Setting" section for details.
