Assembling the Stroller
To ensure safe operation, please follow these instructions carefully. Retain these instructions for future reference.
Initial Assembly Steps:
- Remove the stroller from its box. The front wheels, rear wheels, child tray, and parent tray need to be installed before use.
- To attach the front wheels: Unfold the stroller. Lean it backward so it rests on the handle and rear frame tubes, with the front wheel bayonets pointing upward. Push each front wheel onto its bayonet until it snaps into place. Pull on the wheel to confirm it is securely attached. (See Figure 1 & 2)
- Assemble the rear axle: Insert the axle through each rear wheel, ensuring it passes through the brake cluster first. Snap a small lock washer onto the groove at the end of the axle to secure the wheel. Then, snap the locking cap over the lock washer. Finally, snap the hub cap into place. Pull on each wheel to ensure it is securely locked onto the rear axle. (See Figure 3)
- To attach the rear axle to the stroller frame: Lean the stroller forward to rest on the front wheels. Line up the rear frame tubes with the rear axle housing, ensuring the brake pedals face toward the rear of the stroller. Push both axle housings onto the rear frame tubes simultaneously until they snap into place. Verify that the push button shows through the small hole near the bottom of the housing. Confirm the axle is firmly attached. (See Figure 4 and Page 6 diagrams for detailed steps 1-4)
Wheel Locking:
Ensure all wheels are firmly locked into place before use. Do not use the stroller if wheels are not locked. Contact customer service immediately if wheels are not locked.
Attaching Trays:
- To attach the front child tray: Snap each side latch onto the front frame tube just below the fold joint. To remove, pull outward on the side latch. (See Figure 5 & 13)
- To attach the parent tray: Place one side of the tray on the stroller handle, ensuring the button engages into the hole. Snap the opposite side onto the handle, checking that the button engages. (See Figure 6)
- Warning: Do Not lift the stroller by the front tray.
Securing the Child
- Carefully place the child in the stroller seat. Bring the seat belt around the child's waist. Place the crotch strap between the child's legs. Insert the male end of each seat belt into the female buckle until snapped into place. Tighten the seat belt to be snug around the child's waist. (See Figure 7)
- Warning: Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. Always use the seat belt.
- To release the seat belt: Apply pressure to both sides of each male clip until it releases. This requires moderate effort to prevent accidental release by the child.
Seatback Positioning
The seat features a multiple position recline controlled by a strap and spring-loaded slider located behind the seat. (See Figure 8) To recline the seat, press the round button on the slider and adjust to the desired recline position. (See Figure 9) The strap will lock automatically. The upright position should only be used for a child who is at least 6 months old.
Brakes
- Warning: Always set the brakes when the stroller is not being pushed to prevent it from rolling away. Never leave the stroller unattended on a hill or incline, as it may slide down.
- To engage the brakes: Apply light downward pressure to the brake lever on each rear wheel. The stroller may require slight forward or rearward movement to align the brake teeth with the wheel brake cluster. Check that the stroller does not move and that the brakes are properly applied. To release, gently lift up on the brake lever. (See Figure 10 & 11)
Canopy
- To open the canopy: Push forward on the front frame of the canopy.
- To fold the canopy completely: Pull backwards on the canopy frame. Always fold the canopy before folding the stroller frame. (See Figure 12)
Folding and Unfolding the Stroller
To Remove Front Child Tray:
- Pull outward on the tray latches to release. (See Figure 13)
To Fold Stroller:
- Close the canopy as described in the Canopy section.
- Slide the red fold lock with your thumb while squeezing the large red fold button in the center of the handle, and push downward on the handle.
- Once the stroller begins to fold, release the red handle and pull rearward on the child tray until the stroller is folded.
- Secure the stroller in the folded position by fastening the fold locking latch (located on the right side at the intersection of the handle and rear leg tube) over the extended rivet on the lower frame tube. (See Figure 14 & 15)
- NOTE: Before folding, recline the seat by releasing the buckle as described in the Seatback Positioning section.
To Unfold Stroller:
- Release the folding latch, located on the right side. (See Figure 15)
- Lift up on the stroller handle with both hands until the stroller frame is erect and locked in the open position. (See Figure 16) The stroller has spring-loaded latches on both sides of the frame. Test that both latches are fully engaged before placing your child in the stroller.
