Recycled & Recyclable Materials
Nestera products are made from recycled materials whenever possible, and materials suitable for recycling are used when new materials are necessary. The plastic is derived from recycled industrial waste. By choosing Nestera, you help reduce the demand for virgin plastic. The plastic is tough, easy to work like wood, does not splinter, is UV resistant, and is impervious to pollutants and weather. It insulates well and resists chewing, maintaining its appearance and functionality longer than timber. Metal components are stainless steel or rust-resistant alloy. Packaging and literature are also made from recycled materials.

Assembly Instructions
Step 1: Attach Vent Covers
Fit two Vent Covers to the patterned face of the Right Side Wall. Use one M6x30mm screw, one standard washer, one 25mm washer, and two nylock nuts for each vent. Tighten nuts until vents rotate with gentle pressure, but do not spin freely. The Left Side Wall has vent slots for ventilation.
Diagram Description: Illustrates attaching vent covers to the right side wall using screws, washers, and nuts. Arrows indicate the assembly direction.
Step 2: Attach Straight Door Retainers
Fit the Small and Large Straight Door Retainers to the smooth (inside) side of the Front Wall using three 40mm Screws, three Standard Washers, and three Nylock Nuts. These form a recess for the door.

Instructions for Use
Siting: Place the chicken house in a sheltered area, with the front facing away from prevailing winds. Adjust vents for good ventilation.
Cleaning & Maintenance: The rear door is useful for inspection and regular cleaning. For thorough cleaning or bedding changes, the entire roof can be removed. Cleaning is recommended at least every 3 months. A pressure washer is ideal, but a hose and scrubbing brush will also work. The plastic is easy to clean. Apply "Poultry Shield" (or similar) and let dry. For red mite protection, sprinkle diatomaceous earth around the house, especially in joints, during bedding changes.
Moving: The house is designed for two people to move, using the handholds cut into the roof.
Accessories for your Chicken Coop
Automatic Door Opener: The Nestera automatic door opener attaches to the front of the coop, allowing timed opening and closing based on your schedule.
Droppings Trays: If using shavings as bedding, droppings trays are recommended to keep shavings dry and simplify cleaning by allowing easy removal and disposal.
