Power Dynamics DECK 750 Instruction Manual

This manual provides comprehensive guidance for the assembly, use, and maintenance of the Power Dynamics DECK 750 modular stage deck system.

Scope

The DECK 750 is a modular framework designed for use as a raised platform for displays, performances, and other events.

Limitations of Use

Plywood may expand or contract with humidity and temperature. Optimal use is between 22-42% humidity and 18-26°C.

Assembly Instructions

Tools Required

Open-end spanner 13
Spirit level

Fixed Leg Assembly

Insert leg into adapter.
Tighten knob.
Repeat for all 4 corners.
Tip the deck over.

Telescopic Leg Assembly

Important: Fasten securing self-locking nuts after levelling height. Warning: Never use without securing legs.

Components and Connections

Deck Leveller Insert

Align decks and use levellers to ensure a height difference not exceeding 2mm between decks to prevent tripping.

Deck to Deck Clamp

Connect decks using clamps (3 per deck: 1 on short side, 2 on long side).

Leg to Leg Clamps

Use clamps to connect legs (2-feet and 4-feet configurations).

Accessories

Modular Stairs

Install modular stairs using supplied screws and accessories.

Modular Stair Handrail

Attach handrail to modular steps and connect to the stage deck.

Handrails

Install railings using supplied screws and accessories, ensuring correct straight or corner connections.

Transport and Storage

Transport components on pallets, dollies, or flight cases. Store in a dust-free environment.

Maintenance

Keep the system dust-free. Clean parts with a damp cloth and warm water. Avoid chemical cleaners.

Do and Don't

Do: Ensure level alignment, check conditions, brace legs, interconnect elements, follow local regulations, store upside down, maintain regularly, ensure grounding.
Don't: Use poor condition materials, apply unknown loads, exceed max load, use unfinished tops outdoors, exceed height limits, use hang-on profiles without load reduction, build on unstable ground, use as ballast without proper support.
