Safety Precautions

Unpacking Instruction

CAUTION! Immediately upon receiving the product, carefully unpack the carton. Check the contents to ensure all parts are present and in good condition. Notify the shipper immediately and retain packing material for inspection if any parts appear damaged from shipping or if the package itself shows signs of mishandling. Save the package and all packing materials. If the product must be returned, it is important that it be returned in the original factory box and packing.

If the device has been exposed to drastic temperature fluctuations (e.g., after transportation), do not switch it on immediately. Condensation may damage your device. Leave the device switched off until it has reached room temperature.

Power Supply

The label on the backside of the product indicates the type of power supply to be connected. Check that the mains voltage corresponds to this; any other voltage can irreparably damage the product. The product must be connected directly to the mains and used without a dimmer or adjustable power supply.

Always connect the device to a protected circuit (circuit breaker or fuse). Ensure the device has appropriate electrical grounding to avoid the risk of electrocution or fire.

Control Elements

1. Microphone Input

Balanced XLR input jacks.

2. LINE Input

Balanced 6.3mm (1/4") jack line inputs. You can connect either balanced or unbalanced phone plugs to these jacks.

3. TRIM Control

Adjusts the input signal level. To achieve the best balance between the S/N ratio and dynamic range, adjust the gain so that the peak indicator (8) lights only occasionally and briefly on the highest input transients. The +10dB to +60dB scale is for MIC input adjustment, and the +10dB to -40dB scale is for line input adjustment.

4. 3-Bands Equalizer

This three-band equalizer adjusts the channel's high, mid, and low frequency bands. Setting the knob to the "0" position produces a flat response in the corresponding band. Turning the knob to the right boosts the frequency, while turning to the left attenuates it.

5. FX Control

Adjusts the effect signal level.

6. PAN Control

The PAN control determines the channel signal's position within the stereo image. When working with subgroups, you can use the PAN control to assign the signal to a single output, providing additional flexibility in recording situations.

7. ON/OFF Switch

Turn this switch on to send the signal to the master. The switch lights up when it is on.

8. Peak LED

The peak LED lights up when the input signal is driven too high. If this occurs, reduce the TRIM control and, if necessary, check the channel EQ setting.

9. Solo Switch

The solo switch routes the channel signal to the solo bus (Solo In Place) or to the PFL bus (Pre Fader Listen). This allows you to listen to a channel signal without affecting the main output signal.

10. Channel Fader

Adjusts the level of the channel signal. Use these faders to adjust the balance between the various channels.

11. Line Input

These RCA jacks are for stereo sound sources. Use these when connecting a CD player directly to the mixer.

12. Line Output

These RCA jacks can be connected to an external recorder.

13. FX Output

The FX output jacks carry the master aux mix (from the channel FX controls). You can connect this to an external effects device to process the FX bus. The processed FX signal can then be returned from the effects device back into the stereo Return jacks.

14. Returns stereo

The stereo aux return jacks generally serve as the return for the effects mix (created using post-fader aux sends) by connecting the output of an external effects device.

15. Main Out

The XLR jacks deliver the mixer's stereo output. Use these jacks, for example, to connect to the power amplifier driving your main speakers.

16. Effect Display

Shows the type of DSP effect.

17. Program Dial

Select the effect preset by turning the program control. The display flashes with the current preset number. To recall the selected preset, press the button; the flashing stops. You can also recall the selected preset with a foot switch.

18. FX Control

The FX output jacks carry the master aux mix (from the channel's FX controls). You can connect this to an external effects device to process the FX bus.

19. Repeat Control

Adjusts the parameter (depth, speed, etc.) for the selected effect.

20. 7-Bands Equalizer

The graphic stereo equalizer allows you to tailor the sound to the room acoustics.

21. Aux return Stereo

Adjusts the level at which the signal received at the return jacks (L and R) is sent to the stereo L/R bus.

22. Line In control

Adjusts the level of the signal sent from the RCA Line In jacks (12).

23. Headphone Level

Use this control to adjust the output level of the headphone.

24. FX Fader

Controls the effect input signal level.

25. MP3/BT Fader

Controls the volume of MP3 and BT.

26. Main Mix Fader

Controls the output level of the main mix.

27. USB Port

USB: allows playback through a U-DISK.

28. MP3 Display

Shows the MP3 playback time, song name, and other playback instructions.

29. MP3/BT Command

STOP: Press briefly to stop playback. Press and hold for two seconds to start recording; press again for two seconds to stop recording.

PREV / NEXT: Turn the Program control.

PLAY: Press the Program control knob.

REP: Repeats a single track or all tracks.

The two-band equalizer adjusts the high and low frequencies of the MP3/BT player.

30. Phantom +48V

This switch toggles phantom power on and off. When switched on, the mixer supplies +48V phantom power to all channels with XLR input jacks. Turn this switch on when using one or more phantom-powered condenser microphones.

31. Power indicator

This indicator lights up when the mixer is powered on.

32. 48V Indicator

The red +48V LED lights up when phantom power is switched on. Phantom power is required to operate condenser microphones.

33. VU-Meter

Displays the output signal level. NOTE: The "0" segment corresponds to the nominal output level. The peak indicator lights up red when the output reaches the clipping level.

34. BT-Function

Connect a mobile phone or tablet. Connecting: Press the "CONTACT SWITCH" for two seconds; the signal LED will light up. Use your mobile phone or tablet and select "MIXER-01" for BT connection.

35. Headphone

6.3mm (1/4") input jack for connecting a headphone.

Cable Connections

6.3: 1/4" Mono Plug

Features a Tip (signal) and Sleeve (ground/shield) connection.

Balanced 1/4" TRS Connector

Features a Tip (hot, +ve), Ring (cold, -ve), and Sleeve (ground/shield) connection. For connecting balanced and unbalanced plugs, the ring and sleeve must be bridged at the stereo plug.

Unbalanced "TS Connector

Features a Tip (signal) and Sleeve (ground/shield) connection.

1/4" TS Footswitch Connector

Features two poles: Tip (pole 2) and Sleeve (pole 1/ground). The footswitch momentarily connects both poles.

Insert Send Return 1/4" TRS Connector

Features a Tip (send out), Ring (return in), and Sleeve (ground/shield) connection. Connect the insert send to the input and the insert return to the output of the effects device.

Balanced Use with XLR Connectors

Standard XLR connectors have three pins: Pin 1 for ground/shield, Pin 2 for hot (+ve), and Pin 3 for cold (-ve). For unbalanced use, pins 1 and 3 must be bridged.

1/4" TRS Headphones Connector

Features a Tip (left signal), Ring (right signal), and Sleeve (ground/shield) connection for stereo headphones.
