10 Conditions of Guarantee

  1. For the guarantee to be valid, all products must be returned to IJOY in their original packaging, complete with all accessories, user manuals, and drivers. IJOY will not be held responsible for damages incurred during transportation if these conditions are not met.
  2. To claim the guarantee, a copy of the proof of purchase, preferably the original bill, is required.
  3. Product repairs will be conducted based on the problem reported by the client. It is essential for the client to clearly and specifically describe the issue to ensure correct diagnosis and repair. If no problem is found, a diagnosis and transportation fee may be applied.
  4. Clients must back up their data before sending the device for repair, as there is a possibility of data loss or erasure during the reparation process. IJOY is not responsible for the loss of data from hard drives or any non-original accessories like batteries, memory cards, or CDs/DVDs.
  5. If a product cannot be repaired, it may be replaced with a similar or superior model, considering the condition of the returned product (e.g., usage marks, scratches). The replacement product will have been tested to ensure it is functioning correctly.
  6. The guarantee covers manufacturing defects only. It does not cover damage caused by misuse, modifications, accidents, or client-induced damage. Accessories and parts subject to normal wear and tear are also not covered. The guarantee is void if the product is used for purposes other than its intended design.
  7. For TFT displays, minor imperfections like dead pixels or bright dots may exist due to manufacturing complexity. As per ISO 13406/02 standards, a maximum permissible limit allows these not to be considered defects.
  8. Power supplies, chargers, and batteries are guaranteed for a period of six months, provided they are used within the specified operating conditions and have not been exposed to power surges.
  9. The equipment must have a legible serial number, and the guarantee seal must be intact and unaltered for the guarantee to be valid. All original seals on components must also be present.
  10. The guarantee period commences from the date of the first purchase. Repair or substitution of the product does not extend the original guarantee period.
  11. If the product is not covered by the guarantee, a repair budget will be provided for client approval. If the client does not approve the budget, they will be responsible for the costs incurred for transportation, handling, and diagnosis of the product.
  12. Once a product has been repaired and the client is notified, they have a period of ten working days to collect it. A daily storage charge may apply thereafter, based on the product's volume.
